The Greenhouse Restaurant - Noble Cider
Cider was great, but no lunch menu...
By far my favorite place; taste and quality are top shelf. The Price is right; amazing location!
Seriously, the most outstanding meal I've ever eaten in Asheville, and I lived there for 12 years. The food made us pause between bites to think about the flavors. I can't wait to go back.
The food was outstanding and our server was a pleasure. Will be back. Look forward to seasonal menus!!!
We ordered a number of starters and small plates to share. Every dish was delicious!
Enjoyed my cider flight too!
The bar is not available unless you can grab a seat. Service was good after we waited about 10 minutes. The food is very artsy. Small plates. Not ideal if you want a regular meal.
We really enjoyed our date night at The Greenhouse last Friday. Lovely atmosphere, great server, and good food. We already love your ciders so that was a non-issue. All of our food was divine (the scallops! the paella! the warm olives and potato bread!) except for the fried mushrooms. The breading was just too salty. All in all a great experience. I've already recommended it to several people this week.
Interesting food well done! Not a fan of cider but worth trying a flight to see how good can be...
Super cute but very small portions for the price
Excellent tapas with a wonderful bar, including an awesome cider selection. Would like to see a few more larger tapas options but overall food is great. Wonderful service too
Food is not the usual thing. Thoughtfully conceived and beautifully presented. Excellent service--perfectly timed and available for requests and questions without hovering. Peaceful, plant-filled space, quiet enough to hold a relaxed conversation. Awesome drink menu/wine list.
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to!
Valentine’s Day & anniversary date with my partner! We sat down right away, at the perfect table, tucked in a cozy space but able to people watch. Cocktails were unique and robust. On tap ciders were refreshing. Every thing we ordered was full of flavor, and very filling. Table next to us suggested the prime rib and it was the perfect steak. We got 2 of the 3 desserts they offered and desert cocktails and we were perfectly full and beyond pleased. Elsa was our server and she is very down to earth and on top of everything. Have already recommended this place to family!!
Valentine’s Day dinner that was very nice and the food was great. The service was wonderful in our servers attitude but we were left wanting a few times and hoping somebody would come by.
My husband and I went here to celebrate an anniversary, and everything about the experience was outstanding. We were on vacation and had our one year old daughter with us, so we went early before things got too busy. We were delighted to find they had a 5 course meal for two available for $75 that was pescatarian (and could easily be made vegetarian by subbing the scallops dish for a mushroom dish). The ambiance was gorgeous; sophisticated without being fancy. Fresh plants everywhere, very accommodating with our daughter, and every part of the meal was wonderful. I was 6 months pregnant, so not drinking alcohol, but the virgin Jamaican margarita with homemade simple syrup using hibiscus leaves was perfectly sweet and sour; just what I was craving. My husband enjoyed two flights (4 samples each) of their extraordinary ciders...I tried a sip of the chocolate cherry and the coffee cream and they were unlike any other cider I had ever had!!!
The wheat gnocchi was out of this world...and I’ve had a lot of gnocchi in my lifetime. The warm olives were exceptional, and dipping the warm focaccia bread in the olive oil they that the olives were served may as well have been dessert! Then again, we wouldn’t have wanted to forego the raw cheesecake that was the last part of the five course meal. ❤️ Our waitress, Kaitlyn, was so delightful that we left a 50% tip. I should also mention that French Broad Chocolate Lounge is less than half a mile away, and we walked there afterwards to top an already fantastic evening with their NY Times acclaimed liquid truffle. A night to be remembered!
Wonderful new spot to Asheville! We’ve dined a few times and we are always impressed! Great atmosphere. Attentive & friendly staff. Delicious food.
Unique menu packed with fresh from the garden flavors. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back to try more.
The menu has a nice variety of innovative dishes that are beautifully prepared. The service was attentive, although I would have liked the small plates to be spaced out a little more and spoons in all the dishes to share would be helpful. We''ll definitely be back in the future.
Yummy food and great service. From our server to the front of house, everyone was very attentive to our requests on a pretty busy night. Thank you!
Great food and excellent service. Beautiful place. A bit expensive.
Love the atmosphere and all of the plants!
Service was a bit slow and food took a long time although we didn't mind because we weren't in a rush - we were the only patrons at the time and we only ordered soups and salads so I'm not sure why it took so long. Soup was tasty but almost cold.
I will definitely go back. This was my second time there and my 1st experience was their Brunch and it was amazing!
As a downtown Asheville resident, I'm thrilled to have found this inspired place. Unique and fun interior, food was epic, and the bartender may be the best we've encountered downtown. Great place for local Ashevillians as it is just slighting off the beaten path, while still in the heart of downtown.
Went for Brunch and Beats and it was at around 10:30am and it was almost dead quiet in there, which was such a bummer! We had my sister in town for my Birthday and had raved about how fun the atmosphere and food was for Brunch and to come in to a nearly empty, quiet restaurant left us feeling kind of underwhelmed. DJ didn't come in until 11:30 when we had just finished.
Lovely casual atmosphere with lots of live plants and doors that can be opened during the summer. We ordered the brisket, the octopus salad and the lamb meatballs. Beautiful presentation and great combination of flavors and textures in each plate. They are billed as medium plates, but, personally, it seems like small plate/tapas. Don't get me wrong. The food is quite rich and complex, so a larger portion would be too much, but I consider these small plates. Our food did not come out together and both the front of the house manager and our server were apologetic and offered us a free dessert....nice gesture. Definitely on the pricey side if you order several plates and alcohol, but is a good value for the quality. Make your reservation, foodies!
