Stunning food and wonderful service. The restaurant was beautifully set out to assist safety but none of the ambience was lost. We didn’t want to leave. Such a shame about Lockdown but we will be back as soon as possible

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch here - it was our first visit. This is a very well oiled machine. The service and attention to detail are impeccable. The food is truly wonderful - we chose from the festive menu but there was a la carte and a tasting menu too. I have to mention the mini cheese crumpets that are "nibbles" - so delicious. We can't wait to go back for a return visit. Fingers crossed it will be soon!

Another amazing Sunday afternoon at The Greyhound. The staff as always are friendly, efficient and genuine. The atmosphere in all restaurants at the moment isn't normal, so I can't wait to go back after covid to have a NON masked experience. The tasting menu with wines was wonderful, although my husband as always could have eaten more. Highly recommend

Beautiful food, will 100% be back. They are clearly masters of hospitality. The only complaint was Anthony Joshua was fighting so we had to leave too early, next time I'll make much more time!

Exceptional

We cannot recommend The Greyhound highly enough. Daniel, Margriet and the whole team are so friendly and professional and made us feel so welcome. We have been for lunch this week for my husband’s 60th birthday - we both had the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious and so creative. To make our experience even more special, my husband was presented with a birthday card which all The Greyhound staff had signed and a lovely cupcake. Thank you so so much to everyone at The Greyhound. We can’t wait to come and visit you again. Rob and Anita

Very friendly and welcoming restaurant. Tables nicely spaced and very stylish and innovative decor. Food we chose was terrific; scallops very tasty and beautifully presented, hogget lovely and monkfish too. My companion thought best meal she has had this year. A great addition to fine dining in Beaconsfield. Lovely hosts too.

The food was excellent. The venison was the best I have ever had.
It’s by far the best restaurant in the area. Friendly staff, we can not fault anything. I strongly recommend it.

A wonderful meal, we had the vegetarian tasting menu, and everything from the food & wine to the service was absolutely excellent. The owners take pride in every aspect of the restaurant and are clearly passionate and very knowledgeable about the food they serve. We hope to be back very soon!

Fabulous warm welcome from hosts Dan & Margriet whose attention to service and detail is outstanding. This along with delicious food and knowledgeable waiters makes for a great night out.

This is an absolute joy of a restaurant to visit. From booking to eating, everything is welcoming and delicious. We can't recommend it enough - just book, you won't regret it!

The Greyhound is quite simply one of the best pub restaurants in the area - infact in any area ..!
Food is superb, plus great value for money, with fantastic attention to detail.
All the staff are helpful, happy, knowledgeable & a pleasure to dine with.

Really nice meal. We went for the tasting menu + wine pairing and it was amazing. The Greyhound were even flexible in the menu (I was able to swap the mushroom dish to a crab dish) which made the evening more personable. The wine pairings worked nicely. The squash with deep fried kale, kale pesto, butternut squash puree and balsamic glazed onion was by far the best dish on the menu! If I had to provide one piece of criticism it would be only 2/6 of the dishes on the vegetarian tasting menu were warm. I would have liked there to be more but this did not hinder the satisfaction of the evening.

As a family that being myself, wife and two children we have now been to the Greyhound on separate occasions at different times and days of the week each visit has proved to be very good both with the food itself and the hospitality. This is an exceptional asset to Beaconsfield and being local residents ourselves we will return many more times certainly.

We were a party of 6, including 2 teenage boys and the menu offered plenty of options for all. The nibbles, starters, main course and desserts were simply delicious... as were the pallet cleansers between courses and the home made fruit pastels and chocolate following the meal. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and jolly nice people... attention to detail was outstanding. The afternoon was a truly memorable occasion and we very much look forward to returning.

The food was delicious and well presented. Service was very good although we felt a little ‘over serviced’ as we were trying to have a catch up and seemed to have lots interruptions but maybe I was just a little distracted by other events so please don’t take this too personally!

Great restaurant! Loved the snacks menu. The beef cheeks were unreal, soo good. Highly recommend and very good vaule for money.

We went here on a recommendation and am exceptionally glad that we did! The services was perfect from start to finish and the little amuse bouche that popped up every so often were both interesting, tasty and very much appreciated.

Whilst it is not inexpensive, the value for the standard of the whole experience is excellent and I look forward to going back and being able to spend even longer enjoying the whole thing again!!

This was my second visit & it definitely won't be the last! My friends & I had the set lunch, it was great value at £28 for 3 courses, the food & service is absolutely amazing!
