    Noise level - energetic? Hmmmm. Well since it's like a sports bar, it's noisy because of all the televisions 📺 with so many sporting events. One good thing is that it's one of the few places left to still get a decent hamburger, one cooked to order instead of "smash" burgers - a glorified fast food burger. After this place was bought in September of 2025, the wait time was averaging 45 minutes, even on a Monday evening, but now that the "newness" has worn off, it quite often has no wait. Comfort? Seems they tend to use the high top tables most often and the "dining room" is empty. The bar area only has two large booths making it less comfortable for older folks.

    Our lunch was very good and the venue is lovely. It was a mid-point to meet friends with easy access off route 1. The grounds are lovely.

    For some reason soda is served in a very small glass, with free refills. It would be nice just to have a normal glass and not have to flag the waitress repeatedly for refills. Soups and buffalo wings were great. The garlic Parmesan wings were a disappointment. They seemed like wings that were cooked and then coated with creamy garlic Parmesan salad dressing.

    I chose this location from the edit on our Sapphire, reserve credit card, so I was expecting an upscale dining experience. When we walked in to the right of the hostess station was a table for six that was dirty so first impression not great. It took a while to find the hostess again not wonderful. Then we were seated at our table, which was a high top in a very much of a sports bar vibe. The food was good, but definitely more of a sports bar pub restaurant. Again, not what I was expecting for an edit restaurant recommendation. All in all the experience was fine. They were also out of all Sauvignon Blanc wine for 6 o’clock on a Saturday. I’m pretty sure there are liquor stores in the area?. The outside of the restaurant is beautiful and has a lot of character. Unfortunately the inside did not match.

    Beautiful grounds for al fresco dining, and outstanding charm inside with wood and stone in this historic 1830 building! Excellent service, food and cocktails!
