The Hungry Toad opened in July 1991 and is located just blocks north of Boulder’s historic Pearl Street Mall. Since then, The Hungry Toad has been providing both traditional and creative pub food as well as bringing in classic English style draft beers as well as local craft.

The Hungry Toad’s interior, reflects the classic English pub feel yet hip in sensibilities of the surrounding Boulder area, and pays tribute to England’s storied pub past.

Our outdoor patio rests on Broadway & North with grand views of Sanitas and the surrounding foothills with sun and shade. We strive and will always strive to be Boulder’s neighborhood pub.

We've been going to the Toad for many years and it never disappoints. The authentic neighborhood Pub atmosphere pairs perfectly with the food and drink.

The waitstaff was great! The Shepherd's pie is different but, tasty. The vegetables were tooooo seasoned and they were replaced. The reuben was great!

A great place where locals gather for good pub fare such as fish and chips, burgers, salads, and beer. Lots of screens. Very loud. Nice wait staff. Outdoor seating in the warmer weather but on a busy intersection with nothing much to see. Across Broadway is Sweet Cow for yummy ice cream for dessert. Recommend!

The food used to be way better and less expensive. The kitchen made an error but the waitress tried to make up for it. Screaming children made the experience bad.
