Ivy Cafe, Wimbledon
Very pleasant staff in spite of the fact they were staring redundancy in the face.
Great ambience, fabulous food and good choices for a vegan too. Very memorable lunch.
Food was excellent and the service was even better.
A difficult time as just after the PM had told us not to go to restaurants. The Ivy team were great, very friendly and efficient, and somehow keeping cheerful. I wish you all the best in the months to come. Keep safe.
Delicious food and lovely service.. it is a great chain and pleased to see they are keeping the standards high
The staff the food the atmosphere always amazing!
Thank you for always going above and beyond
I always leave with the biggest smile on my face and highly recommend anyone to go to the ivy for any special occasions the prices are so reasonable
Took my friend for breakfast as a birthday celebration. Staff very efficient and friendly. Food was excellent. Even gave my friend a small birthday cake. Would recommend.
The place was beautiful, food amazing, only one thing we were overcharged on our bill where they had added drinks we had not had! I felt for such a top restaurant this is not acceptable as if I hadn't checked the bill like not everyone does. It didnt give me confidence
Second visit. Very disappointed. Service slow despite restaurant not particularly full .
Main dissatisfaction was in food quality . Sea bass was overdone and dry. Chablis we had was not as nice as expected .
Altogether not a satisfactory evening which was a shame given previous visit had been very good .
Classy, as you would expect. The menu wasn't extensive, but everything we ordered was immaculate. Serving the soup with individual jugs was a bit much but it tasted great. Only gripe is the wine list: it's ridiculous. One entry level wine and then it goes ballistic, for what appears very ordinary fare. Yes, there is a Montrachet, but a nondescript one and at £150 a pop it's totally outrageous. I hope no one falls for that. But the look and feel of the room, the friendly waiting staff, the quality of the food were all to be applauded. Mike
Always love going to the Ivy Wimbledon. Service is always friendly and never pushy, food always excellent
We were really impressed with our dining experience and will visit again.
It was a great menu with very good service.
Good food - enjoyed the steak.
Lovely decor and excellent service
Celebrating an 18th birthday Saturday breakfast. Lovely restaurant, food delicious 😋 and service excellent.
The food was really lovely and fresh and the service was wonderful. Such a nice night out with my girlfriends.
As always The Ivy Wimbledon delivered on amazing tasty food, excellent service and very good value. I’ll be going back very soon!
Really nice evening if quieter than normal in the Ivy. Such a good and varied menu here which will always be a winner with something for everybody and very little else to say. Service was really good Thursday night maybe as quieter
Very enjoyable lunch date with excellent food & service. A bit crowded and noisy but I guess to be expected at such a popular venue!
A good atmosphere, nice decor and enough staff so that you do not have keep looking for a waiter, food was fresh and well seasoned with enough choices. Staff attentive and polite
It's a reliable, well judged offer and the Wimbledon outlet is smart, well served and the food is good, with a very wide veg/vegan menu too.
The service was very slow and once or twice we asked for water and drinks and had to remind our waiter. The maitre d' was a little off hand.
My sea bass was fairly boring but my tuna carpaccio was good and everyone else enjoyed their dishes.
The restaurant and service were both good. Issue was the sirloin steam that my partner was served. It had too much gristle running through it and was not nice to eat. It was replaced and whilst it was better it too was not very good. I appreciate that they is a certain amount of fat in a steak but for the price being charged it was poor. Would try the restaurant again but will steer clear of the steak.
Great morning for my dads 60th would definitely recommend
Fantastic food, service is great and very smiley staff.
It was wonderful as ever! Excellent service as expected!
Excellent service, very attentive staff and the food and drink was great
Very enjoyable afternoon meal, I had chicken with mash and asparagus other guests had salad with squash, the other meal was lamb rump, all very tasty .
A good range of food in the brunch menu. We especially liked the cocktail choices! Service was a little bit slow but as we were not in a rush this was not a problem.
Lovely restaurant let down by poor service on this occasion. Been before and service has been good.
We had a table booked for 1.30 and they showed us to our table straightaway, but unfortunately we were struggling to get anyone to take a drinks order. When the waiter finally came, we decided to order our food at the same time. My husband ordered a starter which was pea soup, and then we ordered our main courses. The waiter joked that I could eat the bread basket for my starter, which I assumed was a joke. When he brought the soup, he plonked the bread basket in front of me. Yes, the soup was luke warm. It was 2.05 and by 2.40, we still hadn’t managed to get his bowl cleared. When the waiter came, he said he hadn’t realised that we had finished, as the bread hadn’t been finished, I decided that I had had enough and asked for the bill. The manager came over, as the waiter said he wasn’t allowed to do that. I explained to the manager that I didn’t want my main course, to which he replied “no worries” and I said “you should be!” He then offered my glass of wine and pea soup , on the house, but I refused and insisted on paying. I live in the village but would never go back to the Ivy in Wimbledon. Their turnover of staff is enormous and the whole experience was very unpleasant.
The food was wonderful and so was the atmosphere, cleanliness and decor of the restaurant.
There were 3 things we wanted to try there were not available which was disappointing and we were almost challenged when we ordered an extra side of fries which didn’t come with our dinner so we waited a few more minutes for them.
They brought over a little cake to celebrate our engagement which was lovely. Overall we enjoyed the meal just a few little things that if there were available it would been perfect
Our server was amazing. She made the whole experience amazing. Felt very taken care of.
Lovely food & great service! Waiters were very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend!
Food was of exemplary quality .
Best Calamari I’ve ever had . Bread was oven fresh . Serving prompt and espresso martini at the end exceptional.
A very very good dining experience
We went there for our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed the food and the service was very good we will go to the Ivy again *
Beautifully decorated, some great menu choices. Good solid service. Found the batter on all the menu vhoices a little floury but other than that good was great! Great location
Exceptional food. Could not fault it at all. Hats off to the kitchen.
The service however could be a lot better.
Service was amazing and friendly. Lots of choice of food but by our 7:30 table one of the specials had sold out.
However what we had was lovely. Really enjoyed our evening.
