The Ivy City Garden
Food was average, not what you're Paying for. The whole service was so rushed I didn’t get the chance to even finish my main before they bought out desert. I know with the 10pm curfew they are rushed for time but the whole experience was not enjoyable and for £140 I wasn’t happy.
What can I say. Another Last Supper before the latest lockdown; but I cannot think where else we would rather have been. The lovely ambiance and all our favourite food; AND, as ever, the nicest set of staff in London. We feel for you in these trying times; and - trust me - we will be kicking down the door as soon as the restrictions are lifted again. With the kindest of regards. Rod R
I have eaten at many ivy restaurants and really enjoyed them, so was disappointed that the service here was so bad and just lacked care.
Always a good experience at any Ivy sites, however due to the closure for a month the following day tables were restricted to 1:30hrs which is understandable but unfortunately you can’t rush the time it takes to cook food!!! We ran 15 mins over.
Thank said the service, food and drink were all top notch as always
The location, setting & ambiance is great. The food - the burger at least - was underwhelming & expensive. The service was a bit fraught but I'll put that down to the fact that when I visited it was during the pandemic & the restaurant had to close at 10pm.
This is a very nice ambient place with outstanding service. However, lobster linguini were disappointing. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
Thank you for your service.
Amazing food as always however the waiters were quite rude towards the end. We was told we had half hour to finish our drinks after they took our order for a new bottle of wine. We was then rushed to finish a whole bottle within half an hour however none of the other tables were told they had to leave for next sitting even though they were there before us. Poor service just because someone may be buying a more expensive wine or main shouldn’t mean they can keep their table we are all paying customers. Especially as this was one of our last meals before lockdown we wanted to have a nice relaxing time however it was the opposite and had put me off from returning to Ivy City Garden.
The decor of the restaurant is stunning and so was the presentation of the food.
Stunning menu, was spoilt for choice. Went with the Shepard’s Pie, and really was delicious.
Thank you for your service!!
The most perfect birthday lunch, great service, thank you for a lovely brunch
Visit the ivy regular and its always absolutely amazing!
I have eaten at several of the Ivy locations and I have learnt now never to order steak! They just can’t do it! For £33 I expect my steak to be served as I ordered it! All the Ivy seem to be capable of is burning it to a crisp! Completely unacceptable!
Very good food and service. Will go back again when we are allowed.
Noisy other table. Playing videos on phones.
Generally quiet otherwise
Lovely food, first class service
Usual beautiful food always a lovely experience . Waiter a bit persistent but ok
Good experience all round, you know what to expect and a nice atmosphere
It was lovely, the staff were great and attentive. The restaurant was beautiful and we were sitted next to a lovely fire place. Food was great as we're the cocktails 😊
Amazing food and great surroundings! Lovely bar area.
The three of us had salads as a side dish . The salads weren’t fresh and the vinegar oil dressing almost non existent.
The staff were excellent and attentive.
Felt a bit rushed as the waiter was trying to take order for mains before we had even received starters and was offering us coffee whilst we were still eating our desert
Quick and efficient service, atmosphere was nice and friendly staff
Amazing food and ambience for our Anniversay. The cocktails are a must! Really lovely relaxing setting. Lovely staff too! Thank you
I was disappointed with the starter. I went for the prawn cocktail which was expensive for four prawns and an incredibly bland sauce. It looked good, but overall disappointing. I had the shepherds’s pie, which was lovely but really small, again expensive for what it was. The desert of figs and pistachios was absolutely delicious. Would go again just for that.
Nice restaurant in Liverpool Street area....great food and cocktails but maybe just a bit too pricey for a quick eat
Great service and great food. Thank you. Would highly recommend.
I had lobster. - it was great but would have costed it more at £22 not £33! But the place was lovely and I enjoyed it
Breakfast was extremely bland.
The ice tea had no flavour
Decor was nice, but I would not revisit again
Was very pleased with the waitress that served me she was very accommodating to my dietary requirements So thank-you
Lovely food, we had the prawn and monkfish curry which was delicious.
Not cheap but a lovely treat.
Cocktails was fabulous & had a kick not over priced and the food was amazing loved the monkfish & prawn curry also fish & chips looked great differently want to come back nice chilled lunch
Stunning restaurant. Great service. Beautiful food.
The restaurant looks amazing, however the food was very bland
Service, Ambience and Wine was very good; as a coeliac myself a few more options for a gluten free diet especially for starters would be perfect!
Lovely evening. Good service, could have been a tiny bit more attentive at the start as we had to call the waiter to order, but in their defence we were very engaged in conversation.
Cocktails always a pleasure
I can't recommend this restaurant enough, the staff were attentive, the food was sublime and the atmosphere was lovely, it was perfect for our date night.
We were told to leave after an hour and 15mins although no one actually informed us before that we would only have the table for a bit over an hour... The gentleman was also quite rude.
Pub food at premium price, hearded in and tables timed so meal rushed, will not go again, say waiting for drinks that never arrived, ordered sides that never arrived, ordered cocktails that arrived late while being told we had 10mins to vacate the table
The food at other branches is better. The decor is lovely but that’s about it!
Lovely restaurant - food is great. Nice ambience. Expensive but worth it!
A very enjoyable and pleasant dining experience and especially in present climate it felt safe.
Food quality and presentation was superb as always and reasonably priced-all waiting staff very polite and attentive.
Fantastic food, we were served by various waiters etc. One waiter/waitress would give a more personal feel.
Would definitely recommend and return.
