The Ivy Tower Bridge
They made a few mistakes with the food but the service was so great it wasn’t a problem
Went for our anniversary but everything on the menu we wanted, they had run out of. Ended up eating food that we didn’t particularly want but was still nice. Gave up on dessert as there was nothing left that we wanted.
fab way to spend our last evening out prior to lockdown 2.0
Amazing views from the terrace!
Absolutely fantastic evening with superb food and excellent service as always. It was my husbands first experience of eating in an ivy restaurant and it most definitely didn’t disappoint. Fabulous views overlooking tower bridge and Tower of London on the thames. Fabulous window seat which made the evening even more special. Would highly recommend
Delicious food, incredible service and very reasonably priced.
Would definitely recommend.
The food was poor and overpriced. I had a burger which was bland and dry, my friend had fish and chips, the fish was slimy and the batter was cakey.
A curate's egg. Tuna sashimi with ponzu was really very good but small, massively overcooked scallops were rubbery and nasty. Similarly the Soave by the glass not nice at all but a chardonnay very drinkable. Staff smiled and the decor and outlook are excellent. It felt like a chain and will rapidly spend any goodwill from association with the original Ivy.
High quality food & service as always.
Came for the fabulous view but the ambience & attentive staff made it a very special evening.
I was very disappointed and didn't enjoy my afternoon tea.
I am a regular customer at The Ivy and visited The Ivy at different locations in the U.K.
Unfortunately, on this occasion, we didn't have a good experience.
The service was rushed and very unpleasant. I guess due to lockdown staff morale was very low.
Sandwiches were dry and didn't look fresh so are patisseries, therefore, we asked to replace the whole lot but the second time around it was no different.
After all, we just eat it as we were there and hungry.
Staff was standing in groups chatting and had no interest to attend customers.
My drink order was messed up
Hot chocolate arrived cold.
There were no hand towels in the washroom.
We spend £90.
I won't be back.
We were looking forward to it but left so disappointed and unsatisfied.
I enjoyed my meal with my friend. The prawn and squid starter was delicious. I was at this restaurant 2 weeks ago with another friend. Glad to be back again. The service was good. A nice time. Definitely going back.
The portion sizes for the cheese and couscous was quite small for the amount of money. But the service was perfect and the surroundings beautiful.
Food was great, quick service and lovely setting.
We had such a great experience! The food was incredible, the staff were so nice and the view is just amazing! I would highly recommend!
I was in The Ivy Tower with my friends for a evening drink on Sunday.
It is a lovely place with an amazing view!
We ate here a couple of weeks ago & the food was great , however, this week my meal was just ok .
The service was slow , ie received a starter before we even had or drinks .
This is one of my favourite Ivy restaurants the setting is great there is lots of space in the restaurant and the staff are very attentive
Outstanding service, food was amazing and very nice, the ambience to die for and professional staff
Really lovely outdoor atmosphere and staff were very friendly. Eggs were a bit overcooked and halloumi dish was small & quite pricey for a main course. Monkfish curry was delicious.
Fantastic all around ✨✨
Service was great! And all very well organiser regarding covid safety measures.
The food was delicious, the rum baba is amazing.
Lovely restaurant with magnificent views. We were a bit rushed to be out by 10pm. Food was good. Excellent service. A nice experience.
Great atmosphere & brilliant service consistently. They remembered it was my daughters 18th & seated us at a window table overlooking the tower bridge. Very special!
Amazing restaurant lovely views and the customer service was beyond amazing really enjoyed dining at the ivy only downfall was food was a bit cold other than that perfect restaurant
Very enjoyable dining experience despite the COVID restrictions. Service is first class, attentive without being over bearing. We will definitely be returning.
Beautiful food, beautiful view and beautiful service! Would highly recommend the Ivy at tower bridge for a special occasion or romantic dinner
Great food but the vegan and veg menu not extensive enough. Only a few items to choose from. Vegan desert menu woeful. Using plastic straws still. Not good. Pity because its a beautiful place with a really good feel and great staff
Fantastic service. Excellent food. A lovely way to celebrate
A fantastic location with great views of Tower Bridge and the river.Lovely ambiance and great food.
Terrible service. Waited over 30 mins for our orders to be taken, got our food order wrong, was my birthday and made no extra effort. Very very disappointing and very expensive for an average dinner.
This is a destination venue which overlooks Tower bridge, and various other landmarks, hence two large floors of river facing tables plus a large terrace. Despite making a reservation four days in advance, we were offered only one of the few tables in the rear, overlooking interior walls. There were empty tables in the areas everyone would want to be seated but we were told they were unavailable, whilst also being told that seating in specific areas couldn’t’ be reserved.
I’m a regular at most Ivy restaurants and must say weather was bad on the day but the ambience in this one was lush.
Had a wonderful lunch. Great view of the Tower of London. The service was good and the distancing and timing of tables well thought out.
I would definitely recommend the apple tart which is flambéd in brandy at your table. You can carry on enjoying the brandy fumes once you have put your mask on!
I would have given it five stars for value but I don’t think you should have to pay extra for vegetables with dishes such as Shepherds Pie. Be aware that when they ask if you want water at the table it is a £4.25 bottle of mineral water and a 12.5% service charge is already added to your bill.
Great ambience , good food and attentive staff . Wonderful views of Tower Bridge .
Service very slow, the cocktails we got were very poor. The old fashioned cocktail was the worst I’ve tasted. The appearance, texture, taste, service all awful
With the service being so slow we got some drinks at 9:50 and rushed out the door by 9:55pm. So does not work in the favour of the client
Couldn’t fault it, so many plant based options, food was unreal! Service great. Had a lovely time
Food, service and ambience where great. However, our mains took 3/4 of an hr to come. We had an 830 booking and were rushed to finish due to the 10pm curfew. We didn't have time for dessert.
Maybe making the last booking at 8pm could help.
Absolutely stunning - food, service, everything.
Wonderful experience for all celebrating our daughter's 10th birthday. As a vegetarian she was delighted with the veg menu and her order of Grilled Halloumi - yum! Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The desert bombe was absolutely delicious! Service was fantastic. Would recommend sitting in the back amongst the greenery which was serene. The only downfall was the 'actress', sitting two tables away, who got huffy and pulled some faces, when my daughter took out her birthday present - an instax mini camera. Thank you for showing my daughter a prime example of self importance and how not to behave!
