The Ivy Tower Bridge

The restaurant is beautiful with an amazing view of Tower Bridge (I asked for a table with a view and it was given to me. Food was ok.
The waiters were always there filling up our wine glasses in order, quite annoying. Our table was very wobbly, I don't think it was a proper table.
I couldn't read the menu, I had to use my torch.
We were seated on ground floor , round table near to door opening onto terrace - uncomfortable blast of cold air every time staff came in and out of terrace. This is the second time in last week or two where we have experienced this.
It was amazing, the service was the best I have ever experienced
Perfect for my daughters 18th had a lovely day it was perfect they even have a little cake with a candle which made it special
Very festive atmosphere. Good & interestingly varied menu. Prompt, attentive service.
Great business lunch with colleagues. Attentive staff and lovely food. Didn't feel rushed.
Great food served in a super setting by lovely attentive staff
We had a splendid meal here on Monday after a trip to the Bridge Theatre next door. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. The lovely French waitress who served us was a delight with my stepdaughter (15) helping her choose a mocktail and generally making her experience special. It is a little on the pricey side but on balance I felt the quality was a fair match to the price. While we personally didn't sit by the window, there is a great view of Tower Bridge from the window seats.
good service, excelent food and a great place.
The staff were absolutely fantastic - we were so well looked after and despite the news that we were going into tier 3 they were upbeat and friendly. They ensured that we had a really enjoyable last night out. The food was lovely and the restaurant felt relaxed and safe. Cannot recommend highly enough and really hope to get back there soon.
Fantastic. Great ambiance, great service and beautiful decor.
The food and service have been outstanding. Thanks for the lovely evening. We really enjoyed the overall atmosphere that was created. Alex
Excellent service, excellent food and lovely location, will definitely visit again
Lovely afternoon having a mixed household terrace lunch.
Delicious food and great service. Great location and nice and cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. Will definitely go back.
Beautiful decor, Delicious food and fab service! Very friendly atmosphere too
Had a wonderful evening. Beautiful view, very nice food and fabulous service, I’ll definitely return.
Our first visit. We will be back. I love the decor and vibe you have created
We had this table booked for 7:30 which is a reasonable time to have a meal , but we found that they did not have the starter my husband ordered then his filet steak . We had been both looking forward going . But the overall experience was disappointing
We had to wait for the table. We were siting outdoors and the heating did not work. When we asked to change the table (and there were plenty of empty tables with heating working), the staff said it was not possible!!! We waited for the food too long, at the end the waiter brought the wrong meal!!! Terrible experience!!!
Amazing restaurant and ideal for brunchs, I highly recommend it!
Beautiful scenery if you sit outside. Heated and covered from the rain. Really good food and great wine
Fantastic food and drinks, excellent service, I even received a small cake on the house for my birthday!
It’s an expensive restaurant but saying that it’s very good value for money, in fact the best salmon I’ve ever had!
Fab all round. What a view!
Friendly and efficient staff , food wonderful and very good sized portions . Poached eggs cooked perfectly . View perfect , considering it was a wet rainy day and we had to sit outside due to COVID guidelines the heaters were warm and we felt welcomed . Will definitely come back and make use of the terrace x
My only criticism is the wait for our table to be ready, when the restaurant expect a very sharp time keeping from its guests. It took several reminder to the staff that the time of my reservation had come and gone and that we were still waiting in the rain, before we were finally seated.
We were then prompted to pay our bill and vacate the table regardless of the fact that we were seated with over 20 mins delay
Great location, but food was served lukewarm at best
Lovely venue and spot on ivy experience.
Waiter was very tentative and friendly.
Food was great!
Only poor point- Front of house tried to make us leave 30 mins earlier than our booking ended which was a shame! They tried to tell us it was only 1.15hrs rather than the 1.45 it says on the booking!
Felt safe & secure. Helpful, efficient & pragmatic staff. Overall experience brilliant.
Food was amazing and ambiance was lovely , good friendly service
Food was average. Experience was very rushed. 90 min slot not long enough. Would not dine here again. Was the same last visit. First video after opening was better. Ambience possibly affected by fewer tables. Desert was very good. Wine good.
Food was fine! service from start to finish was really bad, really disappointed in this location Ivy and would not recommend it to a friend.
Thoroughly enjoyable meal with a friend, very tasty and satisfying. Would have given 5* throughout but didn’t have the best table although it was fine. Really appreciated that we were able to relax and enjoy our meal. Afterwards saw the worst show at The Bridge so we were sooooo glad we went to The Ivy first it saved our evening!
It was a belated birthday celebration for my husband. My meal was rather disappointing on this occasion. I had the shrimp and crab cocktail to start but I detected no crab in my dish and the sauce was claggy and a little under-whelming. For mains I choose the chestnut and pumpkin risotto. It wasn’t very hot and was very dry, the outside rim of my dish being decorated with lumps of tasteless pumpkin. The inner rice dish totally lacked the unctuousness that should be the hallmark of any risotto worth the name. This was a dry tasteless concoction. Deeply disappointing. The Malbec we choose to go with our various dishes was delightful as were the gins we quaffed. Not a good meal on this occasion but the meal was rounded off by my husband being presented with a mini BD cake concoction. He was delighted and I wish I had chosen the same as him, the goose shepherds pie.
A table of six ladies were loud and they had some really loud annoying laughs. Would have been good if they were asked to be a bit more quiet
Tempura squid and prawns to start not very warm and quite soggy batter
I ordered fillet steak and lobster (if you can call it that) it arrived not very hot and I had one tiny lobster claw not value for money ordered deserts and one last round of drinks deserts arrived and had to wait 25mins for drinks only to be told there were a lot of tickets really not good enough they weren’t hard drinks to make ( a lager a glass of champagne and a brandy) wouldn’t recommend as didn’t get a good service at all and no value for money
Wasn't as good as if I compare to other times that I have been to an Ivy Collection venue.
Food was ok, but not great.
The service started off well but once they had a shift change it felt very rushed with the wait staff eager to clear off any plates and glasses that looked finished (but were not!!). I understand they are trying to get turnover trade to make up for lost time but overall it felt impersonal and not friendly at all.
Lovely! Good food , would recommend the house champagne & shepherd’s pie!
Great atmosphere, delicious food and wonderful drinks! A truly lovely lunch.
Always enjoy going to the Ivy. Have been to Tower Bridge, Covent Garden and Kings Cross several times, I'm wanting to try the one in Dashwood House, Liverpool Street as I used to work in that building so will be a reminder of my time there. Food is always good quality with a good choice. Service is very good with friendly staff.
