Great food and drinks! Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were spectacular! Will definitely be back soon!

Groups >6-8 are great, but you MUST make reservations! Drinks & Food were fantastic! The menu was a little limited, but great! Service was fantastic, especially since one bartender had suddenly left during busy dinner services! Manager jumped in and help save the evening! Super Service!

Overall it was pretty good! The service was a little spotty when we first got there. Quite a few tables had not been bussed. We were told my bartender to pick a seat but there weren’t many ready... host and servers seemed preoccupied with other larger groups. Started with one server but never saw her again. Server we ended up with did a great job. Food was pretty good- we both got the salmon dinner. I wouldn’t rave about anything, but the experiwnce was pretty good overall.

Our drinks were delicious. Excellent recommendations from the staff. Food was delicious as it always is. Thank you for making my husband's birthday extra special

Wonderful evening at the J Bar! Our server was fabulous, food was delectable, and we felt very safe. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Seated outside (where we requested) immediately. Service was excellent. Quality of the food was very good - dumpling appetizers and steak dinners. This was our first time visiting and the atmosphere was very nice.

We love going to the JBar and dining on the patio or inside. It is usually nice and quiet, which makes our dining experience much better. The food is always perfect. Their salads are huge and is more than enough for both my husband and I, so we can also have an appetizer or small entree. Very good cocktails also.

The only thing we found a little off-putting on this visit was that none of the wait staff or servers were wearing masks. They did make sure that people were setting at tables that were at a safe distance from other patrons, but the lack of masks made us both uncomfortable.

The food was good but the service was a bit slow eventhough the place was 1/2 capacity.

Korean noodle was excellent and fish and chips was ok. Carrot cake was dry and did not have more than two bites. Waiter did remove the dessert from our bill.

I will probably go back to give this place another chance.

Dining area well-spaced for social distancing. Those that wanted to be around other people closer together had a great bar area to do so. Food came out fast. Current limited menu still had good variety to satisfy many tastes and diets. Service attentive, helpful, and polite. Gave us space and time to talk, and politely interrupted us to be sure our experience was good. Excellent and safe place to go in this pandemic.

We were able to eat in a dining room for the first time since this Covid 19 crisis. It felt a little awkward. I was disappointed in the ambiance because I’m sure of the precautions and other diners were dressed in t-shirts and jeans. The servers were dressed as cocktail waitresses, maybe doing double duty? She was very nice though and our food was good.

I don’t know the name of the young woman with the long braids, but she was outstanding! She was gracious answering questions and provided attentive service.

TERRIBLE service. My teenage daughter was there for dinner prior to a high school dance. My daughter asked what the soup of the day was, as she usually orders soup wherever she goes. The waitress responded, “I don’t know, but it probably sucks anyway”. She asked the others in her group, “what are you looking for, like chicken strips?” And offered them kid’s menus. I was really hoping they could of had a nice meal. They’re not toddlers. My daughter ended up having a salad and the other 3 had chicken strips. I’m sure some servers don’t like having teenagers, but we taught them how to tip, they have their parents money and they’re great kids. My daughter loves to try different foods and loves all different flavors. It should have been a fabulous meal to start a special night and your waitstaff bombed it.

We've made the J Bar a Valentine's day tradition for the third year now and they've been outstanding every time.

We were greated right away. Was given a choice of available tables. Service was great. Food was great. Was just a bit noisy, but no too bad.

Overall, Great. I will be back.

Drink prices were expensive for a Monday night. Surprised at no specials. Had a Long Island tea that was pretty weak. Nice n comfortable. Service was 5 star! Will be back for food, but not drinks!

Very nice quiet location, small with a great ambience about it. Food was very good. Drink selection was stellar.

Great drinks, food, and service! We only had appetizers which were really good, especially the Taco Bites. The sauce on top of the dumplings was too salty for my taste. Every cocktail we ordered was fantastic and really nicely balanced. Really enjoyed the ambiance as well.

Pre Christmas celebration with girlfriends

We were very disappointed in the J bar. It was very dark in the restaurant especially when seated in the corner of the room. It took a long time for our actual server to come to our table. The food was overpriced for mediocre steak and a couple of undercooked fingerling potatoes. The steak was flavorless and the salad was not fresh. We will not be back.

Bartender (Austin) was great, very good drinks. We enjoyed the food very much.

It was unclear from the web site that this is a restaurant associated with a hotel. It functions like the typical hotel restaurant. The menu is extremely eclectic - with things sort of mexican sounding, or sort of italian sounding, or sort of asian sounding.

They have a decent beer and wine menu and the usual assortment of mixed drinks. We started with the tuna tacos. They were fine, and were on a smear of guacomole super heavy in cumin. I ended up having a sandwich and was asked what I wanted it with it - they listed a bunch of things and I chose the soup - and was surprised that they added an extra charge for it. The food was certainly fine, but there was nothing particularly noteworthy about it.

Always enjoy going to the J-Bar. Great food with a nice ambiance.

Love this place!!! It is definitely our favorite place to eat dinner in the Quad Cities.

A beautiful, well decorated dining room and bar. Cesar salad was plentiful and delicious. The turkey burger was good, however the condiments could have been better.

We chose to dine outdoors because of the beautiful weather. The server was extremely pleasant and attentive. We had appetizers that were fantastic and sandwiches which all agreed were great! We felt the price was a great value

Everything was nice but when we arrived there were two other tables of people, one in the back area towards the hotel end and another in the bar end and they seated my husband and I right by the table of 7 or 8 on one end which was kind of annoying because I would have rather been at least a table away since all the other tables were open... But the food was good and not too expensive however my husbands beer was $8.50 for a small one...

A really nice find. Everything was great, including the weather, for the awesome outdoor patio. I'll be back!

They were absolutely amazing at the JBar! We had a large group for a baby shower on the patio and I couldn't be more impressed with how well it went. The staff kept it fun with no waiting on drinks or food. So glad I went with JBar for this event! I hope they get to read this! I did thank them that night, but they deserve another pat on the back!

New to Davenport and was looking for a nearby place with a diverse menu & outdoor seating. Found The J Bar & it was great! Food was delicious & plentiful & our server was great too. The only thing that disappointed me was the cocktail that I ordered. It was just okay & it was more ice than liquid. I’d go back though since the food was so good!

The experience was great, the food was excellent, but they did not have the reservation. Thank goodness they had a large enough table available to accommodate our party.

Fantastic restaurant. The family celebrated Mother’s Day there and it was a big hit!! Food was delicious, menu was current and varied, exceptional service and ambiance was unexpected, and price point was spot on!!
