Put us upstairs opposite another table that had a couple of kids that enjoyed running around. If they start walking you upstairs, I would walk out the door. No ambience, no view and lots of noise up there. If you go, stick with the appetizers. The main courses are awful and way overpriced. My $50.00 ribeye steak (no accompanying vegetables or starch, was super thin and tasteless. Worst I’ve ever had. The pricing is high end, the main courses are terrible but priced high. Toronto restaurants for this pricing are miles better. Appetizer & drinks only place as those are very good.

It was a nice experience but the plating of the food was seriously lacking. It was fine that each section of a meal was a separate order but to receive steak by itself on a white plate, then potatoes on a separate plate, greens on a third plate. That seemed not only ridiculous but also not appealing.
The food, service and ambiance was great.

We will come back for the ambience and view but the 50 dollar steak was thin burned and horribly plated The chicken and polenta was delicious. Patio and burgers for the summer. The steak was just too disappointing to try again

everything was great, we will return but was displeased with the two steak dinners we ordered that one was over done and one under done.

We went with friends for dinner before Covid-19 shut down. We sat at a high top table with a spectacular sunset view. The service was excellent and the food was delectable. Looking forward to going back!

The culinary team headed by Chef Sam is first class. The muscles were cooked to perfection in a light but tasty sauce. The Caesar Salad had all the right ingredients including capers. We asked for Steak Tartare because we didn't see it on the menu and of course Chef made it especially for us (seasonings in the chopped tenderloin were a delight). Service as always was efficient and friendly and the views are over the Oro-Medonte Hills are spectacular.

Incredible experience! The food was phenomenal, the ambience was well thought out and cozy, and the staff were the most wonderful group of people!

10/10. We’ve already booked our next night out!

Best team of servers in Simcoe as well as superb food

Beautiful room overlooking the rolling hills. Food was excellent. Onion rings were delicious as an app. Not a big menu but we found things we liked.

This restaurant is the best you'll get in the Orillia area if you are looking for an upscale dining experience. The main course although excellent quality and presentation, is in general provided in small portions.
They need to up the prices for the food and provide larger portions. No one will be taking home a doggy bag. Staff are extremely attentive and the ambience of the golf course views, full window walls, amazing fireplace and general interior finishes are all spectacular.

Wonderful place to relax, enjoy the tranquility and indulge in fine dining!
Service is extremely friendly & efficient.

Our dinner at the kitchen was as always exceptional we had a spectacular dining experience. Staff was absolutely wonderful and made this dinner a special time. We always enjoy our time and food at the kitchen at braestone.

Fabulous setting and ambience. Food very good but a tad pricey. Steak lovely and tender. Caesar and Brussels quite delicious although very salty for my taste. Fingerling potatoes exquisite. Overall a must see and experience for the food but especially for the setting!

Highly recommend. While the menu is priced at the high end, you do feel as if you receive Value for the money. The steak was the best I have eaten in a restaurant, and the setting is simply stunning.
