The Little Pig Speakeasy

Well worth a visit the food was beautiful a lovely ambience and friendly service...will definately go there again
Pat and Emily excelled again! A terrific evening on a wonderful little spot. The entrance is like running the gauntlet...but once inside....very special!
The only downside to this place was that it was very hard to find (all part of the experience I guess)! The contact number didn't work so we ran late but there were meant to be instructions on how to enter this speakeasy which we never received until we got a phone call (as we were running late).
Other than that, everything from entering the venue, the vibe and atmosphere to the cocktails and quality of food was amazing.
The place is unique, hidden and had a great ambiance and feel.
The best Speakeasy we've visited and the food was delicious!
Wine is very pricey but would recommend the restaurant as a whole. Very chilled place to spend an night with friends/family
We were booked in the little pig for 2 at 8.15pm with a confirmed booking from the venue. When we arrived we were told that our reservation was never confirmed even though there were atleast 2-3 tables available, we were brought down to the main reception where we waited for an additional 20minutes before the guys tried their best to keep us in the restaurant. The food was as best OK, my hake and prawns was over cooked and very sloppy. We were offered a table right after in the blind pig which we can recommend is worth visiting for cocktails. This is the first experience where neither there was any effort to make any difference with an almost "we can do what we like and get away with attitude" Defo would be not ditching our regular Mario's at Ranelagh again.
Great food & atmosphere. Waiting staff were great fun too. It’s a must ❤️
Staff were amazing, so attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were lovely especially the cocktails and were also good value for money. Lovely little place with a welcoming and suave vibe.
Great food and lovely staff! Service was slow so if you want a quick bite this is not the place for you. However on the flip side the staff were happy to leave us the table for the night so no rushing and lots of time and space to chat and chill out 😊
Kitschy spot, cool atmosphere. Service was quick and attentive, food was very nice, and a decent mix on the menu. Would recommend a visit. Quite dark.
Great atmosphere, music and decor were spot on.
The Hammond toilet cistern is a nice touch, you don’t see many of them anymore and imagine some folk will have trouble using it.
Food was excellent and portions were unusually generous but nothing was left behind.
The food and cocktail menus were great and I’ll be back to try some more. Staff and ambience; music and decor were great. Overall 4.5 / 5
Would highly recommend. Food was great and waitress was excellent. Great service all round.
Prices seemed to be about 3euro more expensive than listed on the site. 9.75 as cheapest glass of white, bit scandalous. Starter was lovely. Chicken skewer main at over €20 was really disappointing, really small portion for the price. The chicken was chalky and tasteless, the Italian sausage was again, tasteless. Found it overall disappointing as I have previously visited the blind pig and found it to be lovely. I get the idea, but unfortunately it misses the mark.
Great little restaurant with an interesting theme. Would 100% recommend for some alternative dining!
First time here. Friendly service and unpretentious atmosphere. The food is very rich and I loved that the mains were not too big. I ordered the mushroom tortellini and he ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. We were both v happy with our meals. No complaints. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
We had such a great time with 10 of us and the staff really looked after us.
Food and staff were great. Drinks and wine were a bit over priced but it is Dublin.
Great idea and bit of fun with the codes for getting in. Good for a date. Thought the food was only OK. It was expensive for what you got and it was a small portion. The cocktails were lovely. If I knew for again I would just go for cocktails.
Not value for money. The cocktails are alright, not something special and the food is not that good for it's price. Its a small place and its was too noisy because some girls table that made a lot of nois. The service was great.
Food quality was moderate to good; service was a little slow and request for wine to be brought with meal was forgotten, only arrived at table when main courses were almost finished. Atmosphere was lovely and staff were friendly.
Service very slow but food good once it arrived. Area we had was very cramped for our party
Great concept, execution needs improving. The dirty alleyway entrance could be somewhat excused if it weren't for the fact that you can exit via the ordinary Italian restaurant with which is shares its kitchen.
I don’t know how this restaurant is because after making a reservation over a month ago when we arrived they were closed. They took a weeks vacation. I know that reservations made on open table go to the restaurant. It would have been nice if they contacted me so I could make other plans.
Liked the restaurant, the ambiance, the food, and drink. Getting in was tricky and was quite unpleasant walking through a smelly dirty alleyway. but still, a good restaurant have already recommended.
The food was good, the cocktails great, but the service on the night let it down.
Food was a little disappointing for the price
One of my favorite meals I've ever had, such a fun experience finding the restaurant to find a very well crafted dining experience. Kudos
I reserved a table at the Little Pig for my anniversary dinner.. the entrance is f but once you've got past that there really isn't anything else great about it! Although we had reserved a table we were waiting to be seated over 30 mins, the waitress wasn't sure which menu we were able to order from, the cocktails named online were not available. Not pricey and we enjoyed the concept but in reality we were both left very disappointed (and hungry!)
Good restaurant
Wonderful food, great cocktails, quirky interior and a little experience from start to finish.
I was there Saturday 25 November for my birthday and I have to say the place did not impress me. First of all, the “secret alley” you need to walk down to get to the restaurant that they make out is really intriguing is basically where the businesses put out their bins - it was disgusting and dangerous! Then when you get to the door no one answers and you call the number to let them know you are there and no one answers that either so you are left outside in the freezing cold. When, after banging on the door for five minutes, someone finally lets you in they are not too apologetic about it and just say the bell isn’t working, how do you expect to know when people arrive then?! Then, the woman who was serving our table didn’t know what any drinks were! One of my friends ordered a Malibu and she didn’t know what that was, another ordered bourbon in her Old Fashioned and she seemed confused about that and another ordered a vodka and white lemonade and she didn’t have a clue what white lemonade was! Then when I ordered a vodka and black currant she also brought me a bottle of soda water I hadn’t asked for which she had already poured into it without asking! She then got very confused when we payed the bill in cash and seemed unable to understand we were owed €10 change! The one plus is the food was the food was tasty and one of my friends is celiac and they did gluten free pasta for her. I doubt I will be rushing back though unfortunately.
Poor service and very limited menu. Having a dairy intolerance I could only eat one thing from the menu. I had to order two starters. We had just finished our main course when I asked for the desert menu. We were then told that we only had 10 minutes left at the table that they had a private function. I was not aware of this and we had only been sat down for an hour and 20 minutes. We were then moved to the Italian restaurant where we were given a mix of desert menus from little pig and from the Italian. We quickly realised that all of the deserts were the exact same except the little pig menu was 2 Euro more on each item.
Very enjoyable restaurant, excellent food an service
We all absolutely loved our meal here- superb food, fabulous cocktails, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Followed the directions to find the restaurant and dialed the provided phine number. No answer. Called several times - still no answer. 3 guys drinking outside Marys bar told us to go to suffolk st and go in that way. Heard several people had the same issue as us. We were brought upstairs to a dining area where there were no other people. The menu was a subset of what was on the menu downstairs. Asked for a table downstairs and enjoyed our meal there. So - didnt eat in the little pig.
Ambience was lovely - we were only diners for the first while. We weren't blown away by the food, with two out of five not happy with their meal. In saying that, the waitress was lovely and gave my sister a free dessert due to her not eating her main.
The dessert was gorgeous!
Cocktails were also good.
Great atmosphere, delicious food (especially starters), nice cocktails, good service. Would go there again!
