New Year's Eve Special Menus & Offers
The Lobby Bar and The Warming Hut invite you to dinner on NYE for an evening of vinyl records, libations, good food and one giant fireplace. We will have an early countdown at 9pm due to the current dining restrictions in place.
Wonderful experience. Beautiful interior and great food! Love this place and will definitely return many more times. Loved the salmon. So many flavors and nice presentation. Great place for a night out with my friend.
Although restaurant was not busy, it took over twenty minutes to get our drinks. And they came out two at a time, with a long wait until the next drinks arrived. we were there to celebrate a graduation so we had wanted to have a toast. Food was okay, but small portions. Overall the experience was not great and also not a good value. Very expensive for a mediocre experience.
Great choices for brunch that were not the run of the mill dishes. Prompt and unobstrusive service.
Terrific atmosphere and delicious small plates. Very safe.
Lobby Bar at Quirk is one of the coolest places I have been to in Virginia. Service is great and the staff is welcoming and very friendly. Cocktails are amazing and you can’t have just one!! And….let’s not forget about the space, the decor is unique and absolutely fabulous! Andthen we get to the food. I will say I was not overwhelmed by more than half of the dishes that I ordered. With a small menu of small plates, I knew that I was about to partake in a culinary experience! And I did with just one out of the six dishes I ordered. The Burrata….it was exceptional, layered right on that toast, the burst of flavours will have those tastebuds wanting more. The fried chicken drumsticks, cooked well….okay….and definitely needs a different description. The lamb, flavours was great, but the lamb was overcooked. The spareribs was cook to perfection, but that sauce killed the whole plate. It was the most disappointing plate out is them all. I end up ordering The Ted Sliders because I knew you couldn’t go wrong with a burger, and of course the sliders was great! Unfortunately the rustic steak fries are overkill. They would have been great if I was at a dive bar drinking beer.
I do believe like Art, food is subjective. But with a small unique menu, everything on the menu should come out exceptional, only making me want more and more.
I will definitely will be back for cocktails and I look forward to seeing what’s new on the menu.
Love this spot! The ambiance is everything and the brunch is tasty. Must go!
Staff was not welcoming. Wine came in a can. View was great.
Excellent small plates menu with inventive cuisine.
It was my daughters birthday and everyone was so kind and greeted us warmly. The food was unique and interesting. Service was impeccable. Attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit and will try the Rooftop.
Need to switch over to small plates
Rather than appetizers
The evening was fun and pleasant.
Old Fashioned Quirk-delicious cocktail. Burrata, amazing. Loved the sliders, spicy shrimp and ribs. Troeg's IPA, amazing. Hostess and waitress were top-notch. Somehow we were comped 2 orders of fries.
Fantastic food and service. The hotel should promote the restaurant more during check in. But I'm glad we realized they served food before we left. Would definitely recommend whether you are staying at the hotel or just in the area.
As beautiful and polished as this bar/restaurant is, the staff needs some polishing too. Even if there are only a few of us dining, the staff really shouldn't congregate in the bar. One of the staff was so poorly trained she could not direct us to the elevator or knew if it went down to the restrooms. First, she told us it did not and then came back to tell us it did. We were a party of two and our dinners did not come out at the same time.
I had mentioned that the occasion was a birthday, both on my reservation and when I checked in. It was not mentioned until long after our dinner was over and we were up at the roof top bar looking at the view. Then a wonderfully sweet server came all the way up to ask us if we wanted our complimentary birthday drink! Unbelievable.
Great place for casual drinks and fantastic small plates!
Delicious food and great service!
I wish they had a better variety of drinks but I was happy with my Moscow mule. The place was very nicely decorated as well
Great place to eat. Had never been here before and being a bar in the lobby it is pretty open so people coming and going. Was a bit worried about what to pick to eat - ended up getting The Ted sliders and the santorini dip - oh my goodness both dishes were fantastic! The service was great, and the architecture of the building is fabulous. My only complaint is the low lighting with the pink menus - made it hard to read them with older eyes (back in my 20's it wouldn't have been an issue, now hitting 50 small print and low light do not work well together). Had to use the flashlight on my phone - so be prepared.
Delicious food, nice service and ambience. A bit overpriced.
The lobby bar was everything I hoped it would be! It felt like we were transported into a swanky L.A. boutique hotel. We enjoyed cocktails and appetizers before heading up to the rooftop for another drink to watch the sunset.
Excellent small plate offerings. Standouts were the ricotta gnudi and grilled pound cake dessert. Service was excellent.
Beautiful space, noise level is low so you can actually hear the person next to you--thank you for not blasting music!!!--the food and waitstaff were excellent. We will be back.
Food was great! Server didn't rush us and always popped up at the right time. A great location to people watch but don't feel like you're sitting right on top of other diners and can share a private conversation.
Nice place. I love the brunch burger. The Peachy Bellini and Green Goddess were good drinks. Desert ironically wasn’t the best. The baklava was dry and brittle. Would not recommend the dessert.
Absolutely delicious brunch for a belated mother’s Day celebration with my mother and husband. The brunch menu is short, I highly suggest you view the menu online prior to going. I highly recommend the pancakes. Atmosphere was fun, bright and cheery, trendy and Quirky!
The Lobby Bar has wonderful tapas of a good size and great cocktails. My family and I ordered quite a bit and there wasn't anything we didn't like. There was something for everyone! Allen*, our server, was patient, prompt, and very kind.
Delicious cocktails and small plates full of flavor. Beautiful and fun decor. Loved it!
Small menu with high prices. Food was phenomenal but for brunch there were about six things to choose from. Have to pay to park in Quirk lot of there for brunch-a little disappointed. Overall experience and service were wonderful. Would return, but maybe just for quick drinks.
Don’t waste your time or money here. Rude management and host ....... booked months in advance for special occasion and were seated at a temporary table with uncomfortable fold up chairs right by emergency exit that staff kept using.
The food upset my girlfriend and my stomach after we ate. I was feeling sick right after and my girlfriend started to feel sick an hour later (she did not eat or drink anything after got out the restaurant).
Lobby Bar at the Quirk Hotel is fabulous! Great cocktails, food and atmosphere!
It was so cute and the food was great! There were gnats in the dining area as well as the restrooms that were super annoying. Other than that great experience.
Had a small group dinner. It is such a fun atmosphere. Great food and service,
This was my first visit to the outdoor Terrace and the Lobby Bar at the Quirk Hotel. The outdoor terrace is quiet and cozy and the service is friendly and attentive. We enjoyed vodka martinis and the delicious flatbread appetizer with fig, prosciutto and goat cheese. Inside at the Lobby Bar the ceiling height and floor to ceiling windows make the ambiance glamorous while the vibe is chill. We shared a few small plates. The beet salad with candied walnut, mandarin and ricotta is delicious. The Cotechino Sausage was both savory and sweet, paired with sour cherries and sweet potato. The Ricotta Gnudi is a light and fluffy gnocchi with cherry tomato, pomodoro and buttermilk ricotta and Basil that melts in your mouth. The Lobby Bar serves delicious food and offers a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy well made drinks and a satisfying meal.
Lovely, open dining area and reception area. Beautiful artwork, furniture, everything. Lobby Bar was a bit understaffed on this day so food and service suffered a bit. I will totally go back again because of the ambience I briefly mentioned above... and the drinks are delicious too.
Amazing experience. We were lucky enough to have made a reservation during restaurant week! Everything was delicious and our server (I believe her name was Kaelyn) was wonderful.
Beautiful bar with fantastic cocktails. We ordered the Restaurant Week menu and it was fabulous, especially the white asparagus.
Had a great first experience dining in Quirk's Lobby Bar! Reservation was for 5:15pm on Friday as that was the only time that was available when making reservations the day prior. My party was late but Aquil, the operations manager, was awesome and was able to still seat our party of three at 5:30pm. There was light music playing and the seating area is spacious so it never seemed loud. The overall vibe is elegant as one in our party said it felt as if she were celebrating her anniversary. We started with a bottle of the Mionetto Prosecco, which was very well-rounded and everyone enjoyed it. Our cuisine consisted of six of their shareable, tapas-style small plates. The spicy shrimp (my second favorite) was perfect for a spice lover but was a bit hot for some. The pimento cheese was creamy and delectable and the best I have ever had. The ragu was great as was the sweet-savory combination of the pork belly sausage (my favorite). The broccolini was creative and the artistry of the white asparagus was beautiful. The service was awesome as Aquil stopped by throughout the evening to bless us with his cruise director personality which really helped make the evening special. Will definitely come back and can't wait to try the rooftop when it opens!
