The Local Larder is a perfect venue to visit and relax after a hard day. The service is very friendly and their expertise with wine and cheeses is shared in a very non assuming way without the' snobbishness' that can sometimes be found in venues that provide quality food and wines

The food at The Local Lader was absolutely delicious, wonderful flavours, and great combinations.
The service was perfect, just enough so we weren't looking around, but never too much.

The new menu was fantastic we had the " feed me" set menu it was the perfect amount. The staff we friendly and attentive. The wine was superb. Looking forward to my next visit.

Local Larder has a delicious food menu and extensive drinks menu. Service is brilliant and the venue is cosey inside and relaxing outside. Great local venue.

Didn't have food, drinks only in wine area. However, gave a food rating score because there was no option "didn't order food".

The new menu is very good. We had the fish and the steak and also the tomato salad. The steak tartare as a starter was the best I've had.

Service is outstanding, the food is amazing and an interesting wine list to match. I tried a wine I had never heard of before and it was a winner. Perfect way to spend on afternoon, sipping wine and grazing on some amazing food.

We loved dining at the Local Larder for my mums 21st! The food was delicious & the drinks were divine. We were impressed with the spirit selection, especially the gins, available for those who do not drink wine. However, we both found the outside seating slightly uncomfortable, awkward and a bit close to other patrons. The setting is beautiful though and we understand finding aesthetic yet comfy seating could pose challenging. Aside from this, James and Stefanie definitely know their stuff & we will be back!

The larder is simply fantastic. From the ambiance and decor to the service via the range of exquisite dishes and cheeses matched with a mindblowing wine selection, there is nothing not to like about it.
A real gem which happens to be just a few minute walk away and therefore all so more appealing.
If you want to treat tourself, let the larder team treat you!

Love, love, love this restaurant. Great service and the food is authentically European - such a treat among the sea of fusion restaurants out there. Tried the tasting menu with matching wines and each pairing was EXQUISITE. James, our host, was passionate and knowledgeable and took the time to tell us about each dish and each wine. A truly wonderful dining experience.

Great place to have a relaxing afternoon of share platters and a glass of wine or have a beautiful meal. Staff have always been friendly and helpful with selection and service is quick. Price wise its not cheap and not overly expensive but you get what you pay for which is good quality food and service. Definitely a place I will dine at on a regular basis.

Steph and the team at the Local Larder are fantastic hosts with an excellent menu and drinks range (wine shop attached to restaurant). The restaurant is always bustling with an inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
