Can I just say a massive thank you for the whole experience of afternoon tea for mammys 60th birthday. From the time we stepped into the building the greeting we received from that very handsome gent at the door with a personal birthday greeting for mam she was in shock. The hotel is fab and the lord mayors room decor is out of this world. Our waitress was Rosín and she couldn't do enough for us constantly topping up our drinks throughout the experience the food was scrumptious I cant keep telling people about it. The service was nothing I ever experienced before and well worth the price. Will be returning for sure for the next special occasion and will be hoping to stay the night as a treat. Thank you to all the staff for doing what you do we could see you clearly are passionate doing what you do. Please pass this message on to the staff that took care of us you created an ever lasting memory for us. Thanks from the Harvey's and Saunders x

From start to finish, our experience at afternoon tea at the Lord Mayors Lounge was wonderful. We got the vegan afternoon tea which included a delicious and well thought out array of food. The service was extremely good with very friendly and helpful staff looking afternoon us. All aspects of the afternoon were compliant with covid-19 regulations.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in the Lord Mayors Lounge. All the Covid restrictions were in place but they were very well done and did not interfere in any way with our enjoyment of the occasion. We had an excellent waiter - Jamie - who was attentive but not pushy. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

I have been there for afternoon tea a few times before & I was really looking forward to going back. Specifically as I wanted to ask the staff there about where I could buy the Sweet Nana Moroccan mint. As I think it tastes amazing.
I got extra sandwiches too. Everything was exactly as I remembered it.

Afternoon tea was spectacular! With tables properly socially distanced and staff following health and safety recommendations, it was a very comfortable and relaxing visit. The tea, pastries, sandwiches and desserts were fantastic. It was particularly nice for me as I’m 38 weeks pregnant and a nice time out before my baby is due. Can’t wait to be back!

The servers were very professional and pleasant. The food was gorgeous and they offered additional sandwiches and there was no limit of teas / coffees. The setting is beautiful and relaxed.

Old world experience and by that I mean it was wonderful. Afternoon tea is something that is being lost with every new generation but it is a very civilised experience. One could say that is is very expensive, and I guess it is, but it is an experience. Unfortunately with the current restrictions of 1 hour 45 mins it takes away from that experience and this should be taken into account. But in general one would not take 4 hours for afternoon tea I guess. Beautiful location. Immaculate surroundings. Great Covid19 care and attention. Special shout out to Jamie who was very pleasant and patient.

The girl who served us was amazing. I can’t remember her name but we were at the 5:30pm sitting and she had black hair! From start to finish she made our afternoon tea experience so special!! Her advice on champagne was also excellent.
The food was fantastic and delicious. There was a great variety and everything tasted superb.
We will be back again for sure and would 100% recommend to anyone that is looking for a treat!

As someone with experience in the hospitality industry,I am usually fussy when it comes to eating out and pick up on faults with service quite easily.However I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon tea.The service was impeccable,our teas never got low,and we were repeatedly asked if we needed more sandwiches which we then received at no extra cost. The food itself was divine,I loved the combination of salmon with lakeshore mustard and the mousse with the foam and sable was beautiful.Some people may be apprehensive about paying 55€ for afternoon tea but I believe it was worth every cent. I will definitely return on my next trip to Dublin!

All four in our group enjoyed the afternoon tea, it was a wonderful experience. The choice was excellent and every sandwich and every cake was so tasty. Service was superb and we felt we were spoiled. The ambience was excellent and the paintings on the wall were very artistic. All in all a wonderful experience.
