   Always a great experience at MacMillan. We went mid afternoon on a Saturday and it wasn’t crowded. The fire alarm went off for a false alarm but the staff still made it a great experience with great service and fantastic drinks. Super professional. Try the California sour!

   We grabbed a light weeknight dinner and some drinks. My husband got a whiskey, while I opted for a sour beer—both were very good. We also ordered the chicken fingers and spinach appetizer, which we liked. The hostess and bus boy were friendly and responsive. Our server was nice and helpful, too. He accidentally forgot to submit one of our food orders, but it came out soon after. I liked the ambiance overall. It felt nice but still relaxed. It’s a great place to meet friends and share some apps and drinks. I’m sure we will return!

   The corner booth outside was terrible. Tons of bugs. It was very dirty and not romantic at all. They more than make it up for it with their excellent service though.

   Service was fantastic. Food was underwhelming but tasty and worth the money spent. There was some confusión about seating, but I feel that was more due to my poor communication skills not staff error. Either way we were put at a lovely table outside, which actually worked out better due to the Lively decibles of noise inside. My wife and her mom had a great time, and we will be back

   Went for brunch but the very thing we both fancied off the menu wasn’t available. Great surroundings and would definitely visit again for an evening of whiskey flights!!

   I don’t remember ever waiting as long for a drink and that’s not a great way to start an evening. Give of us ordered while waiting mg for another couple and it was literally 18mos. This is after asking the server if they had any Pappy Van Winkle. When I got the deer in the headlight look and then a search in her handheld, I knew I was in trouble. We literally decided as a group to order our second round at the mid-point of our drinks because of the lesson learned from our first round and the simple fact that we seldom saw our server return to the table. This was only our second visiting this time but have learned our lesson tonight.

    We had a good time. The consensus from our group of 4 was that the food was just average but the drink was very good. Who doesn’t like a good whiskey bar? The service was very good.

    What a great little gem. I went for brunch with a friend and had a good time. The biscuits and gravy are a real southern treat. Thanks to the chef for making us feel at home. Their whiskey selection is amazing.

    Great selection of scotch! The decor reminds me of the library in Beauty and the Beast except instead of books, it’s shelves of liquor. Food was good and came out fast. Service was decent.

    Met a friend for drinks and to catch up! Between us we tried a flight (great tips from the server), a cocktail, and a straight pour — all delicious. It was a busy night, and we sat in the middle of the room, so we had to talk a little louder — but it’s such good ambiance, you don’t care. No food this time, but I’ve been to MacMillan before and swear by the scotch eggs.

    We asked to switch to a different table since we were close to the door, but were told it was reserved. The table was not used for 45 minutes. Your reservation policy is if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of your reservation it is lost. But that was not the case.

    Very cute whiskey bar in the Mosaic District. You’ll l food is ok. I had a bowl of French onion soup and it was a bit salty. Brunch menu looks good so I may have to give it another try. Drinks were great. Atmosphere is awesome. Love the outdoor fire pits!!

    Was my 2nd time here & totally enjoyed it. This time I was here during Happy Hour The prices are good & there are some Happy hour specials. Had the McMillan salad & the salmon. Excellent service!

    Always packed and for good reason. They have the best selection of all types of alcohol and the servers and bartenders are super knowledgeable. Definitely one of our favorite places to hang out during the weekends.

    The charcuterie plate and tots were very tasty. I enjoyed my champagne cocktail and dark Manhattan. My husband did the whisky flights. It was a fun place for a low key birthday celebration. They were very busy!

    Very cool whiskey bar! The bartender, Gabe, is very friendly and makes great drinks; if you're not sure what you want, he'll make you something special! Great location in Mosaic, and really cool atmosphere with hundreds of bottles of spirits lining the walls. They had live music when we were there, but that's not the usual. Already planning to go back again soon!

    The food and service were outstanding. However, they squeezed six adults into a booth, which clearly should only fit four average-sized adults. I wish I had known the seating arrangement before I made the reservation, but since this was our first time, I had know idea how small this restaurant actually is. Recommend for either two or four people. I will say our server made up for the cramped table situation. Our drinks were amazing and the food didn’t disappoint.

    Beware: they only serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday’s and unfortunately they have a very limited brunch menu.

    Just for accuracy's sake, we serve a fairly extensive brunch Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 2:30pm, . From 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm we have a late brunch menu with soups, salads, sliders, quesadillas, and appetizers. This allows our small kitchen to prep for dinner, which is offered from 5:00 to close. Also, as dinner food is prepped it becomes available during late brunch. Our entire drink menu is available at all times.

    A destination location for whisk(e)y lovers - bourbon and scotch. Quite a selection of both, as well as others - e.g., rum, cognac, etc. Not a terribly good selection of beer, but that is not why I'd go there to begin with.

    The MacMillan Whisky Room is a very fine establishment with an amazing experience. Note you will have many many (hundreds?) of options of Scotch, Whisky, Bourbon and other cocktails. The menu can appears overwhelming but it’s very nice how the drinks are broken down by region and gives the profile of each selection. Also note they are typically in alphabetical order. We will certainly return.
