   Lovely Sunday roast. Quality of food and service excellent. Attentive and friendly staff. Landlord and lady visible and chatty. Great meal out at this wonderful location.

   Lovely experience.. would recommend for the whole experience.. not sure if it’s compulsory to have a dog though .

   Delicious lunch, brilliant service - friendly and efficient. The menu was amazing - which made it very hard to choose! All our courses were unbelievable, the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Lovely atmosphere and a beautiful table looking out onto the river spotting birds. Couldn’t have asked for a better lunch, thank you! We’ll definitely be back soon.

   A superb evening and Andy the GM and all the staff were very friendly, super informative and basically enjoying their job. It was a great evening and will be back very shortly thank you xx

   We had a lovely meal . Much improved since the old days . The ceviche cod was excellent . Will become a regular .

   In recent years, food at The Maltsters has been very 'hit and miss' so we were very pleased to read that new management had taken over. Our food was exceptional and service was spot on. We had a special of roast hispi cabbage which was fabulous as were our mains. My wife and I arent normally dessert eaters but we were tempted by a dessert delivered to the guests as the table next to ours so we ordered the same to share. It was exceptional just wished we had one each. We will definitely be back next time we are there.

   Although the Maltsters has only been under new ownership for a few weeks you would never think so - when you wlak in it feels as though it has been established for a long time and the whole ambience is very good and relaxing. The location next to the Bow Creek gives a fantastic backdrop. The entire experience was welcoming and professional, great service that wasn't pushy, and an excellent menu well presented and beautifully cooked. The only points that we might mention from our visit were that the Monkfish was slightly undercooked and that the Honeycomb icecream lacked flavour and depth. But definitely on the list to visit again.

   We have known The Malsters for many years, and having heard very glowing reports about its new ownership, we just had to return to try it out. Those reports were definitely right. We had lunch during the week, so it was fairly quiet. The place itself is in the most beautiful setting by the water. The food was utterly delicious and the service excellent. Great experience, and will definitely return. Thank you.

   Very welcoming and attentive throughout. Nice to see Anton the Chef visiting the diners and chatting with them at their tables. Food was amazing - the Mussels and Monkfish were delicious. Highly recommended
