Service was very slow.... complained about the burnt chips and was brought some more equally as burnt..... the crispy crackling on the pork wasn’t crispy and also the waiting staff have no idea about etiquette as using our table to serve someone else’s table isn’t really something you’d expect.... overall disappointed

Overall a very nice experience. We all had Sunday roasts and the beef was excellent. The belly pork was not so good and a small portion. The staff were very friendly and the service good so everybody had an enjoyable meal.

Booked a table through Open Table for 7.30 for my wife son and myself. The booking was accepted and confirmed. We turned up to find that the whole restaurant was cordoned off and had been turned into a special events evening. We went to the entrance and were told we could only get in by purchasing a ticket for the event but these were sold out. We then had to go into Alderley Edge to try and get a table in another restaurant which as you can understand, without booking was prat impossible. We ended up waiting over an hour for a table in Gustos. A poor experience all around.

The service was dire; firstly the waitress decided to memorise our order instead of writing it down (so naturally got parts of it wrong!). Then it took 15/20mins for any drinks to turn up after ordering them. We were given the wrong menus to start off and couldn’t order some of the items on it. Food was really tasty and saved the experience but all in all, the worst service we’ve ever received at such a nice place.

The restaurant was great. However, they hadn't received our booking from Open Table. This is something that Opentable need to look into. Fortunately they fitted us in.
