WELCOME TO THE MULE.
We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos and tequila come to play.

Located in one of London's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From Birria Foldies to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

My child has celiac disease and we felt so safe to eat as a family without worrying about explaining all the needs to the staff. Everything on the menu is gluten free and our server made sure to ask about any allergies or dietary restrictions. Food was fast and delicious! Would absolutely come back to try more deliciousness!

Start to finish this was a great meal at the Mule. Food and service were exactly what our post-graduation group had hoped for.

They were so busy and I think short-staffed, but they did a fabulous job attending to us! you wouldn't have even known. The food was great, as always, and safe for my son with Celiac, of course. Thanks!

We went to Mule because of the patio and the food. The tacos and the service were great. We were seated by a large noisy party (12+) on the patio and the diners and the staff kept bumping into us. We were a party of three and they could have moved us to a quieter corner. It really impacted the enjoyment of our dinner.

Hi Brenda, thanks for sharing about your experience. Very glad that the service and food were great. Apologies that where you were seated impacted your experience. We certainly understand that atmosphere is a large part of your enjoyment, and we will be sure to follow up with our team with some coaching so they can better keep this in mind. We hope you'll give us another shot.

Always a great place for margaritas and tacos. Food was tasty and service was pleasant. About the only gluten-free kitchen in London, ON, which is important for my wife with celiac.

Incredible food as always! I tried the new Smokey Chicken Taco, and it was absolutely delicious. The taquitos and “the cease and desist” are one of my all-time favourites, and I love that the entire restaurant is 100% gluten-free. It's a great spot for amazing tacos, whether you're gluten-free or not.

Amazing food, service too! First time there for all of us 4. We love the options on the menu. The menu changes roughly every 3 months which is fantastic for trying new creative plates of delicious 😋 meals. We sat on the back patio and the ambiance is peaceful and in the evening they light it up! We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff for a great first time and leaving us wanting to visit again soon!!
