The food was good, service was good. Will definitely go back

Went Sunday morning for breakfast. Music was so loud it was difficult communicating with the host. We waited 15 minutes after being seated and no one came to our table, even though the restaurant was not busy. We left and took our business elsewhere

They are doing an amazing job during the pandemic and the food was amazing!

The food was delicious and unique. I had the chicken fried chicken and a side of pancakes.

The food was really awesome and the service i received was the best. I would go back!

Major disturbance in the diner. Black man was angry for not getting food right away. Not the safest neighborhood. Bloody Mary was horrible! Just an ok meal. No need to return!

Great table. Good food. Funny waiter. Coffee refills to the brim all day long if you want.

Nicollet diner was ok, nothing stood out as exceptional or great. Food was ok. Part of my food wasn't cook right, had to get recooked. I would recommend to a friend with some caution.

The service at Nicollet Diner is really good, overall. The server was attentive, cordial, and genuinely friendly. She was doing her best, even with the altered way of doing things, because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The food itself does, however, need to improve a little bit more; but was tasty given our new circumstances. The Nicollet Diner has always been a favorite of mine, due to the 1950s vibe I get, whenever I dine there. Thank you again for your service during this difficult time!

Everything was simply okay. Not great, not completely terrible. Seemed pricey for diner food. Our main server was friendly and pretty attentive. However, the barista who delivered my coffee practically slammed it down, sloshing it all over the table. Toast was soggy. Eggs were soggy. Bacon wasn’t crisp. The breakfast quesadilla was a better choice. Very large portion. No compelling reason to go back.

If you come here for breakfast, get the french toast. It was the best french toast I have had in years.

Best experience ever. Our waiter Josh was funny and detailed orientated. There were 3 of us for breakfast. We say in the back outdoor part of the restaurant. We had the hash browns with the onion bacon & cheese & they were delicious. We put pics of food up on Facebook and people wanted to know the name of the restaurant. Very good feedback for you, thank you so much Nicollet Diner ..wonderful cooks and waiters and host. Our very best to our special waiter Josh. He was the best.

This place has so many options and the food was great! I loved my bloody mary and breakfast. The service was excellent too. I will definitely return and bring more friends!

This is a little bit of a hole in the wall but the food is so good it’s like going to a greasy diner. It’s definitely a great place for going for a quick meal or a greasy breakfast or burger. We really liked it here

Fathers Day brunch. They had limited seating maybe 8-10 tables which is expected due to Covid, but the kitchen was so backed up with take out orders we waiting nearly an hour for food. The waiter was polite and apologetic but you should serve the inside seated guests ahead of the take out orders. Otherwise it was pretty good.

This place is amazing. The whole experience was fantastic. Definitely be back!!!

I loved the Nicollet Diner. They had two options for outside seating which was nice. A nice posh area in the back and the space out front where are the action was...lol. It was lovely dining out front while people watching. The food was great and the service is always A1. They had these cute clear mugs, great coffee, and wonderful food!

The tables on the street blocked by the jersey barriers was an inspired win in the face of the pandemic

It was fun. It was delicious and clean. We enjoyed our first time out since Covid-19. We got plenty of coffee poured and it was good friendly waiters and cooks thank you

The service was excellent, my drink was well made and very good and my food was awesome!!

Transition to in-house dining could have gone more smoothly. When OpenTable reservation was made, was informed only two tables left. When we arrived, there was only one other customer in the restaurant. (A ploy to get ujs to make the reservation?) Service was slow. Recorded music very loud, and was told it couldn't be turned down.
After not dining in this restaurant for several months due to the shut-down, a disappointment. Hope things will be better next time.

My roommate and I saw they had patio seating due to COVID and we wanted to experience it. The good is reliable and good as usually. Our waitress was lovely and accommodating. It was a nice first meal in a restaurant after months. Thank you!

no issues, was seated in the back patio, was kind of windy and the barrier kept flying away. was our first time 'post covid' at a restaurant, and it was perfect.
