    This is the second time I’ve been and it was just as good, I went for the stonebass as I enjoyed it so much last time . The only negative I have is that we had to large dogs behind us and I felt they could have been better placed.

    5th time since change of chef/ownership. Fabulous food and service apart from the belly pork. The whole dish was flavoursome but the fat on the pork was soft and not rendered or crisped at all which is how belly pork should be served. We will not let this deter us from visiting again as it’s very local to us and the best in the area.

    Service was excellent, attentive not pushy, food was also excellent. Prices were better than we thought. We will be back.

    Been twice and it’s been great both times. Has a special burger which was superb. I had a starter so the cheese was a bit heavy for me on top of the bourbon flavoured burger. The next visit was steak I had was beautifully cooked and the sauce well incredible Everyone else in the party loved their food so really a result I’d say about the best in the area . Also nice selection of beers.

    Wonderful lunch yesterday at this newly launched pub. The best scotch egg ever tasted was followed by a wicked fat burger. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Truly a delicious lunch. We're local. Next time it's for dinner....

    Third time visiting, food equally as excellent as previously. Service a little less, young man serving very professional but lady seemed less experienced and we had to try several times to ask for bill. When we went to the bar to ask she then forgot to bring it and was busy chatting to locals at the bar so we left the table and paid the young man on the way out. Didn’t spoil the experience but not as slick as previous visits:
