The service was just ok. The barman was nice but the waiter abrupt without reason. The food was terrible. We actually didn’t eat most of it and left it. We noticed the table beside us did the same. I could only do one bite of the pork belly rolls as they were so dry and bland I could stomach them. Overall it was a wasted night.

Staff are friendly, food is good, great range of drinks & the general atmosphere is chilled. Great spot for an afternoon drink, a quiet night out or somewhere to start a bigger night.

This place is great and the food is delicious. I gave four stars instead 5 for service as I was waiting patiently and social distancing, but an inconsiderate man approached the bar and was automatically served first :( Other than that , this place is great!

This is such a fabulous spot to sit, rest and have a refreshing beverage and some delicious food. The atmosphere is super friendly with very knowledgeable staff, plenty of interesting wine, beers, bubbles and cocktails. Your fur babies are also welcome ... highly recommend

Although food was very tasty there are too many fired options. The wine and service was lovely. Took our dog who was extremely happy to be there with us. Nice atmosphere. Will go again.

Great place to visit. Arrived at 6.00 pm. Probably a bit late ordering food so it took longer than anticipated. Happy to return.

Wonderful cocktails and knowledgeable bar staff. Good range of local craft beers. Great bar for date night or a table of mates. Confident but chill vibe.

New menu is on point. Always some new cleansing beverages on tap to sample and the staff always have something to recommend if you need some inspiration.

The service or lack of it was the real standout. Our server was young and obviously adverse to smiling. We had to search for menus our self and didn’t offer water. The food was put down on the table without a word or smile.
We ordered a number of share lates and were really underwhelmed. All I can say is I liked the chips.

This is by far the best place to get amazingly good drinks and food locally. No need to go further and the service is the best part of it. Oh and the music, love the music here!

I think businesses are under the pump due to the circumstances in this crazy time . We chose the Oxford to celebrate our 25 th wedding anniversary after having a wine there and loved the ambiance ! The food was great and so was the cocktails and wine . I feel like I should give positive feedback as you have asked....

I would rather have average food and great service, unfortunately it was pretty poor ! That place has amazing potential, live music could be cool or the right choice of background tunes !

We love the food, brilliant boutique beer & spirits options, the ambience and particularly the exceptional service and the wealth of knowledge Gerry, Aaron, Luke, Cormac and their team enthusiastically share with their customers, regarding their many and varied beverages. So happy to have The Oxford Taphouse as our “Local”!

Cosy friendly bar for grown ups, low noise levels and super experienced staff. We regularly frequent this establishment with our fur baby and love it! Highly recommend.
