The staff were friendly and the courtyard was nice. I think this is a hidden Victoria gem.
We loved celebrating Mother’s Day here! Our server, Sue, made us feel so welcome, bringing us blankets and moving the heater to keep us warm.
Great Mother’s Day meal, got a cool bonus treat!
Patio table with lovely view, a little chilly even with the table fire but they provided blankets which was nice. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable. Had the paper plane cocktail recommended by the server, and it was delicious. House red was also very nice. White bean and celery root dip for appetizer was very tasty, though surprised the description didn't mention that it contained cheese. We shared the one vegetarian pasta option and one vegetarian pizza, and both were delicious. Altogether a great evening. Thanks to the staff for continuing to work and make people happy through these tough times.
Excellent food and service. Efforts made by staff to ensure we were warm with blankets and heaters on. Beautiful of the inner harbour.
The patio was so cozy. Tons of space, and the fire pits were sooo nice!

The early bird dinner special was great value. The food and service were both very good but the restaurant is dark and the decor is tired. Not the location for a special night out.
We just had wagyu burgers - meat was good, rest was nothing spectacular. Fries were run of the mill. Pretty basic, adequate. It was convenient as we didn't need to leave the hotel but there are way better places to eat in Victoria.

This was our first time eating there and the food and service were fantastic! We had the fondue and if was delicious. The portions sizes left us feeling full and satisfied. Great value for the money!
We went for the 3 course dine around fondue for $40. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. We were served potatoes, pickles, bread, carrots, turnips, etc. and barely any meat or seafood. For $40, I would expect a better spread and more expensive items. The 2nd course fondue with the hot broth was tasteless but the cheese fondue was pretty good. The service was great and the restaurant was beautiful.
Went to have the fondue during dine out. The restaurant is typical of an older hotel - dark furnishings and bleary lighting. It is likely better without the COVID restrictions and spacing for tables. The food was ok. I quite enjoyed the cheese and the chocolate fondues, but the main course one with broth was lacking in flavour. The broth didn’t taste of anything, and while I liked the shrimp and beef components, the vegetables were odd. Try spearing s large chunk of bokchoi on a fondue skewer and cooking it and then try to eat it! And daikon - why? The other courses were very Swiss yet this main course was oddly Asian. Glad we went, but unlikely we’ll be back with so many great restaurants in Victoria.
The food was delicious! Some fun and different sounding options on the menu and all super yummy. The service was great. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We took advantage of the Dine Around and Stay in Town promotion and enjoyed the 3 course fondue offering. Cheese, broth and chocolate! All varied and delicious.

The Early Bird Menu was great value and the food delicious. We pampered ourselves with a cocktail. Beautiful setting and warm, gracious staff. I will be coming back.

We ordered the 3 course fondue for two. This made for an entertaining supper event. Highly reccomend it. Protocols in place lead to a relaxed environment. Super locations with view extended to the North over the Victoria harbour scene.
It was my first time at The Pacific Restaurant and I thought the food was average. The service was excellent, I like the ambience but the food, for me and my partner, was not breath taken,
We had the fondue, and my compliments to the chefs!! It was delicious and such great value for the money. It was all great! Our server was excellent, very friendly but not over the top. Thanks for a great evening.
Fondue and great experience for first time with kids! Split the 2 person amongst 2 adults & 2 kids & added extra veggies & some fries. Not a ton of food but that’s expected at this kind of restaurant.
Our server Donna deserves special mention. Her menu knowledge was outstanding, she was polite and calm when my Dad barked at her (I am so so sorry. She did absolutely nothing wrong). She carried on with grace and calm. I will definitely return.
We sat outside at the fire tables, so the noise level relates to the fact we were on a busy street on Friday night. Sadly not very busy at the restaurant, but everything was quite good. The Sangria was unusually strong.

Server “Donna” was excellent. Food was delicious as we had fish and pasta respectively. Reasonably priced and so all in all, a wonderful evening.

Dinner service was on the patio, because of COVID. It got a little chilly, but our server offered blankets and we sat by a heater. The food and service was excellent.
I had the board with, pork pate, it was tasteless, the pate looked like it was 1000 years old. Seafood boil was bland. Outdoor chairs no cushions.
The terrace is a lovely spot to have a drink and small plates and hang out with friends.

Everything is outstanding specially Franzina who welcomed us and sat us by the patio which we enjoyed. Also the 2 waiters who assisted us as well. They went beyond and above to make us comfortable and enjoy our meal.
We do enjoy coming for the Early Supper, a good value for seniors. Hopefully the 3rd item on the menu will be revised this month (March) so we can come again. So nice to see the same waiters year after year.

Did the Fondue with our 8 and 11 year old girls, had a great time. It costs $85 per 2 adults, and for the kids we paid for one extra portion at $35. It is not a lot of food, however, as you are eating slowly you find that you fill up. It is three courses, starting with a traditional cheese fondue followed by a broth fondue, topped off with a chocolate fondue. The chocolate was definitely the show stopper. Delicious! The meal was fun. The restaurant is a bit out dated, and they were definitely understaffed. Reservations are recommended.
