To keep you on your toes our head chef changes our evening menu regularly depending on what comes in fresh that day. Everything we offer is homemade and we source as much of the produce as we can as locally as possible. We always make sure there is a choice on the menu for Vegetarians, and we ask that when booking you let us know of any dietary requirements so we can tailor that evening’s menu appropriately.

                                      Took my parents for Sunday lunch and we had a lovely time. Excellent service and delicious food. My dad, a huge fan of roast pork said he had the best crackling he had ever had! The tables and chairs were not all on top of each other as some restaurants do, and we could enjoy talking to each other without shouting. Highly recommend for families and foodies alike.

                                      Lovely traditional pub with dog friendly eating area. Service was great, lovely girl serving. Very friendly, bar staff too. Food was all lovely, big portions too, so unfortunately no room dessert. Had battered haddock and chips, Scampi n chips, panko king prawns and artisan bread

                                      We booked because we had passed this pub whilst drving around on holiday in the area and it looked pretty. We weren't disappointed. Everything was great, from the decor, the friendly service through to the food quality and the portion size. It was Burger Night and really good value with a deal for a burger and a drink. He had the Mac & Blue which was really tasty and I had the Mexican which was zingy without being too spicy. The staff were attentive and friendly and the real ale and cider was good. It had obviously been either recently decorated or very well maintained. Super experience and we would recommend it if in the area.

                                      Excellent service once again. Sunday lunch is fantastic, really good quality. We love to drive up here then take in our beautiful Northumberland coastline.

                                      We have visited here on a number of occasions and always found the staff very helpful and friendly and the food excellent. We had Sunday lunch and a dessert and the quality of the whole meal was excellent and very tasty. It’s a lovely place to visit when we head up the coast for the day and we’ll certainly be back again.
