The Palm East Hampton
shallots, mushrooms, fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, white wine, Florio Dry Marsala wine, and basil
Filet n' Fries
Filet Mignon 4 ounce with French Fries or green beans
Food was awesome. I love the location and have gone there for years. Service was OK. They were busy so I was patient with food etc. But when I made it clear we didn’t want desert and wanted the check I felt I was being held hostage there. Overall good experience and will continue to return!
My wife and I ordered the crab cakes and were completely disappointed.
There was no discernible crab. The mixture was a paste of breadcrumbs and some unidentifiable filler which appeared to have been heated in a microwave. It was like eating a fish paste.
We asked the waitress if the dish was microwaved and she told us it was from the oven. I doubt that.
When my wife left most of her meal on the plate, no one asked if there was something wrong with the meal, they just ignored it.
Shame on you Palm
No one does a lobster stuffed with crabmeat better!!! Always on the mark.
But...... wish the bread did not come out COLD . Too bad they to not have something or someone in the back of the house to do this. Most fine steakhouse restaurants do.
Otherwise a great experience.
What a GREAT Birthday Dinner!!!! I wanted lobster on a Thursday night in the winter in East Hampton. Seemed to be a little too much of a Birthday Wish until we chose The Palm. A three-pound steamed lobster, served out of the shell, with a huge baked potato and Brussels Sprouts!! I was in heaven. Thank you, Palm East Hampton, for making my birthday wonderful !!!
When it's really busy...service can be slow. The Palm is the only true steak house in East Hampton.
Service was terrible! We didn’t even have a designated waiter, just had random people attend to us when we asked. Filled our own wine glasses, no one ever checked in on us, our “waitress” who took our order didn’t know the menu. Service was really surprisingly terrible, which is a shame as we looked forward to coming here.
Food was great though. Entrees are huge so I’d recommend actually splitting something with a couple sides. We way over ordered, which was partially on us but also bc, again, the waitress didn’t know the menu.
As always a superior meal in a very pleasant traditional setting with good service. As always it also comes at a price, but it was well worth it.
I have no idea how this place has such high ratings on google. Felt like a somewhat upscale TGIF’s or a really hectic terminal at an airport. Had an 8:00pm reservation and didn’t get seated till almost 9:00pm, extremely loud. The food was mediocre at best and was very expensive. Totally overrated.
We have never been disappointed, great service, great food all plusses
Was our valentines dinner. Restaurant was packed like sardines - I had two different parties backed up against my chair. Service was slow. Very noisy. Food was mediocre and very overpriced.
One of our favorites. We'll miss The Palm when we move to Naples FL 😔
Great service, friendly, warm. Food is just awesome. Had steak and lobster. Perfect
I hope the many tables celebrating birthdays had a better experience. The Palm was not up to par last night. Food took forever and then it wasn’t hot. We were told someone was missing in the kitchen. Not good at these prices. Saturday is their busiest yet weakest night. It won’t stop us from coming back!
Salad awful, steak awful, service awful. Dessert great
Always a guaranteed great meal
The food was A+, the place was packed, but we were seated immediately. A bunch of celebs were next to us (pretty good for a random January wknd!). Our waiter, Garrett, was outstanding. The two maitre d’s were moving around the whole time, checking on everyone. We could not have had a better time or a better meal. This Palm is simply the best!
If you've never visited the East Hampton location, it's a beautiful dining room and cozy bar area in a historic inn for a really different experience from the other metro locations. The staff is 100% professional yet always friendly and welcoming. The food is everything one expects from Palm dining. Although the restaurant wasn't crowded on this off-season visit, the courses are typically served in a timely manner even when the dining room is packed full. I would also recommend the bar during off season for a great happy hour including great bar menu offerings.
Excellent experience as always.
New Year’s Eve party. Festive good deal for this holiday in a classic steak House.
Birthday and New Years eve
Another great dinner at The Palm in East Hampton. Night before New Year's Eve. Dining room was packed. Hubby had the organic petite filet and I had the crab cakes - both outstanding dishes. Wines by the glass are pricey but delicious. Staff (including the manager) always attentive and professional.
Great food! Service was amazing
The staff was amazing. The host Andrew was very accommodating and gave us a nice greeting and choice of a table. Our wait staff was very pleasant and helpful.
We’d go back again and again.
Best martinis in town! Thanks!
After waiting 45 minutes to sit for our 745 reservation (in a jam-packed room) we were finally seated. Food was OK but wait staff was totally overwhelmed. Love The Palm EH but never again on Xmas Eve unfortunately.
Late in seating. Food very late. Reserved a high chair for a child. They didn’t have one available.
Always great food terrific for loud crowd and go early with young children. Christmas Eve and service was great as well.
Food was average at best, not worth the price.
Andrew was the perfect host!
This was our first time dining at The Palm...
We love the Palm Everyone and everything was fabulous
Service was impeccable while friendly, AS ALWAYS.
Marsalas were great, would have liked ,possibly, a touch of pasta incorporated. Otherwise a real treat.
Andrew manages the dining room extremely well - for the weekend before Christmas, the place was heaving. The meal was superb, and Joe kept the craft cocktails coming from the bar. Lovely evening.
What a treat to get off the Jitney in the dark and the snow, walk just a few paces into The Palm where one is welcomed warmly with a perfect drink and perfect dinner . Life is good!
Great dinner as always!
My wife and I have been to the East Hampton Palm numerous times, as the varied menu, consistently high food quality, and ambiance of the Huntting Inn keep us coming back. On this occasion, however, service was terribly slow throughout the evening. Most annoying was waiting over half an hour for our entree after finishing our appetizer. Our server thanked us for our patience at the end of our meal, which was nice because you can’t correct a problem if you don’t recognize you have one, but this particular night was a bust. It was the night after Thanksgiving, so maybe that had something to do with it.
Noisy but bearable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was about regular nothing impressive.
Definitely needs more space between tables.
Nevertheless, we had a good time.
Thanksgiving at The Palm is a great idea. Food was delicious and service was outstanding. Thank you Dylan!
The food, service and price were excellent. The only issue was the noise level, we were seated very very close to a very loud table with four loud gentlemen in the covered patio area! I guess that is out of their control especially on a holiday meal, but it would have been nice to have a discussion at my table without having to talk so loudly. Next year I will request a table inside the Main dining area. Overall, this meal was better than meals I've had over the past 5 years from Gurney's Inn and Baron's Cove and I highly recommend The Palm!
Took the family here for my oldest daughters birthday. Food is consistently good, and the service is impeccable
Love this place! Andrew and Sheila are the best!
nothing better... place always delivers.. go ever chance we get!!!!!
