We were very disappointed and frankly shocked. We had a 7 pm reservations and ordered the porterhouse for 2 only to be told that the restaurant ran out of porterhouse. That seems incredible given our reservation time. Shouldn't a famous steakhouse always have everything on its menu at 7pm? I could maybe understand if it was a very late reservation but ours was not. Also our table was considerably slanted and when I mentioned that to the maitre'd he told me it was the "floor" BUT made no accommodation or repair. I spent $500 on dinner and would have liked to have had a porterhouse steak, but had to settle and would have liked to have had a level table but had to settle. Not so sure I would return or recommend this restaurant in the future.

Not a very memorable New Year’s Eve dinner. 6:45 pm table reservation ran 20 mins over was hungry so accepted a booth at the bar area. Had to move out of booth as it was reserved in advance for a couple who didn’t show up for 45 mins later. Menu not very exciting and why so much crab cake options? French fries were soggy and just about warm. Sea bass was ok. It was our first time to eat at a Palm restaurant and sadly can’t say I would recommend.
I have dined in this restaurant for the past 30 years and never had an experience like this yesterday on New Years Eve. We ordered a 4 pound lobster, prime rib and appetizers. The lobster came which was only 2.5 pounds and ice cold. The prime rib came and was ice cold. Gabriel the manager came over and offered us both prime rib again. The second time again it was ice cold. Horrible experience on New Years Eve. The wine we ordered a rioja was on the list at $89 and we were charged $149 for a different one than what we ordered. The manager took the food off the bill and we took the wine home. I hope we will hear from Gabriel with a gift certificate to make up for this bad experience.

Ownership of the Palm restaurants recently changed and not for the good. A lot of traditional dishes seem to be missing such as veal milanese and the hashed brown potatoes. The Monday Night Salad isn't anything like it was. My wife ordered the lamb chops and the waitress asked if she'd like a sauce and she chose bernaise. Lo and behold, when the bill came there was a $4 charge for the sauce. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE$4. But what steak restaurant charges for sauce? Isn't sauce a given with steaks and lamb chops? Certainly the old Palm didn't nickle and dime people like this. I guess we should be lucky they didn't charge for silverware and napkins.
Rib eye cooked perfectly and delicious. Great sized portion for the money. Service is great too
Great experience on Christmas Eve
Lovely Christmas dinner in very difficult ( covid) circumstances. Food was great and staff were friendly and helpful. It made our Christmas Eve special. Thank you.
We went to the Palm to celebrate our anniversary, we were married 20 years ago and had our wedding dinner there. It was a great experience Stan and a fantastic experience now, the food was great the service was great the ambience was great thank you for being a comforting and iconic restaurant in East Hampton
As usual the Palm ROCKS. Killer service, Great Food and the best cocktails in the Hamptons.
Sadly, the food was very average and not in line with the expensive pricing. Service was excellent though.

We’ve loved this restaurant in the past. However, last night Service was very off and menu prices were different than those on the check. We asked to speak to the manager.
His response was that we were given “ the wrong menu” and “ didn’t see why it was a big deal since it was only $6 and change difference” on the bill...Very disappointed.
Always a great place to eat and drink! Our covid-19 Thanksgiving was perfect.
My husband & I enjoyed every single thing we ordered~the food was delicious!
We were celebrating his 70th birthday & it was a very memorable one thanks to our lovely time at the Palm.

After I made the reservation I started reading bad reviews of this place (service) but I wanted to give it a try still, what a surprise they prove me wrong. Excellent service, nice table, Tanya our waitress very attentive. We loved it. Thxs The Palm staff.
Dined during Covid , felt safe, good spacing. Great crab cakes and wedge salad. Salad was tasty with out creamy dressing. Lots of blue cheese. Good rib eye and awesome creamed spinach. Would definitely visit again. Nice location and ambiance

Food was good . The only problem was the chairs at the tables were uncomfortable.
Lobster was yummy. Crab and shrimp cocktail were delish.

Perfect in every way!
I was disappointed in the overall dining experience as I had last been there about 10 years ago & remembered a most exceptional meal. The margarita ordered was with no salt & it came salted. The additional bread requested did not come with additional butter. The famous Palm's Gigi salad was not the green bean based salad I loved. It was explained to me afterwards that there is now a West Coast version with lettuce, hard boiled egg & avocado. Very little green beans, which I thought was the major ingredient. A nice salad but not at all what I expected. The lobster bisque soup was presented nicely but it was not even luke warm. The veal & chicken parmigiana meals had very little meat but were smothered in cheese. The rib eye steak was very thin. The garlic mashed potatoes had no flavor of garlic. The wild mushrooms were ok but ordinary. The price of the sides was exorbitant for what was served. The waitress did not come & ask how our food was after it was served. There was no warmth or personality exhibited to enhance our experience. The manager did stop by after we had finished eating. I have enjoyed many upscale steak houses over the years but the Palms does not make it anymore.
Bartender Joe is THE REAL DEAL!! The best staff and excellent food!

I was disappointed to see all new faces among the staff except for Sheila. Where are all the waiters I’ve come to know over 30 years?
The food was good but not outstanding as it used to be. Portion of salmon was the smallest we’ve ever had.
I had an end cut of prime rib which is the reason I eat at The Palm. It has always been outrageous. Saturday night it was just good. There was no au jus which left parts of the meat dry. I won’t be ordering it again unless the chef uses the former chef’s recipe.
While I realize the restaurant has changed hands and the new staff was trying hard, I cannot say it was the the quality of the former restaurant.
A very disappointed loyal diner!
Very disappointing. The crab cakes were horrible. Actually inedible. They were doughy and tasted like there was no crab in them. The wait staff was neglectful - we had to flag them for a drink, bread, cutlery and more. They really need to up their game.
We had a lovely meal and a lovely time. Everyone was professional and observed all of the dining rules, wearing masks and social distancing. We had the 18 ounce steak it was cooked to perfection but was a little tough.
Not good. Came on Saturday night for our anniversary. We had a reservation. Table was OK. Seemed crowded inside. Sat for 20 mins waiting to order a drink. We had to flag someone down. Seemed our waiter “forgot” we were his table. Never got bread. Food and drink was just ok. Brussels sprouts were more like steamed than crispy. I have had a better meal and service for the money. Everything was just meh.
Food is excellent as always. Prices are high which is normal for a steak house and expected. BUT I WAS SHOCKED WHEN THE BILL CAME AND WE WERE CHARGED $16 FOR EACH BAKED POTATO!!!
Food lacked in flavor, the ambiance was oldish, the meat was a good cut and cooked good however just no taste. Cream spinach was decent mashed potatoes not so much .

This was my first time at The Palm and I cannot say enough about my first impression! We were greeted right away when we walked in and when we sat, were given attention right away from asking what water we wanted to our drinks and dinner! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us order correctly and explained the different cuts of meat and how they were prepared, etc. The restaurant was a bit quiet, but I assume that is due to COVID as there are less people in the restaurant. To be honest, it was nice to be able to have a conversation without shouting anyway! The food was delicious and all the food was as described and correctly cooked to our specifications. Last, but not least, the Martini was sheer perfection. Ice cold, full glass and very tasty olives! We will return for sure!
A delicious intimate dinner on the outside patio made dining so enjoyable and felt totally safe and socially distant amid this pandemic. Looking forward to returning
I was a bit disappointed they couldn’t accommodate the fact that I can’t eat garlic. They said the special lobster dinner was premade

The meal was okay. We were put at a table in a corner and we’re ignored for the first 20 minutes. Never had a consistent waiter. Have been coming to the Palm for 30 years. Will not be back.
