Reservations open on the 1st of each month for the following month, for groups up to 8 guests. For larger groups please email bookings@theparakeetpub.com. We serve our A la Carte menu Monday to Saturday, and Roasts on Sundays.

Unfortunately, a really disappointing experience. This was our second visit, and while we had a much better experience the first time, this time almost everything went wrong. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes for our table, which had apparently been given to other guests. The restaurant did offer us complimentary champagne to apologise for the wait, which we appreciated. However, once seated, the food was consistently disappointing, dish after dish. When our waiter asked how everything was, we were honest and told him that the dishes weren’t good. He simply apologised for hearing that but made no effort to address the issue or follow up in any way. To make matters worse, the service was generally poor. Our waiter was unfriendly and inattentive, and towards the end of the evening brought us the bill without us asking, making us feel very unwelcome and clearly rushed out of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a lovely setting and atmosphere, which makes the experience all the more disappointing. Sadly, neither the food nor the service matched the surroundings. I would also like to credit an older gentleman at the restaurant who was genuinely warm, welcoming, and lovely. He was a real positive during the evening, and I hope the management recognises that. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share this experience because I genuinely believe the restaurant has the potential to offer something much better. I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

The Parakeet has fast become a "go to" for dining aficionados who know the difference between good and great. The setting has that sudden contrast of the chaos of a popular bar, and the quality fine dining experience. Our waitress was outstanding, knowing when to break up a conversation to progress orders (a rare skill in London) and the steak was next level - beyond anything I've tried before in the city. They've worked hard to get The Parakeet to where it now sits — on top of the mountain of fine dining in London. Well deserved, they've earned it.

After an initial issue with our booking, the staff were very friendly and apologetic and found us a table. The food was exceptional and the atomsphere in the restaurant was lovely. I would highly recommend.

The food was delicious but the portions were pretty small! The beef was done beautifully (very medium rare - how we like it) and the yorkshire was great. However the portatoes and veggies were brought as a sharing plate for our table, We were a table of three and we had the same portion as the neighbouring tables of two. the potatoes were great but there was just not that many, and none of us were full after our roast which is rare! The food tasted great but for the high price it just wasn't enough food I feel. the staff were wonderful and the setting is great. and the sticky toffee pudding was a perfect dessert!

I had read some mixed reviews, they couldn’t be more wrong. The food was great I had the pork belly Sunday roast and my gf had the beef, all of it was delicious and the cauliflower cheese was amazing. The staff were super friendly and service was great. The sticky toffee pudding is 10/10

The Parakeet now has a 'catch of the day' on offer, and my friend was delighted with the beautifully-cooked red mullet. There are plenty of choices for fish now, but I was disappointed that there was no meat dish featured in the second part of the menu. I hope that will be a possibility at some point. The grilled meats are usually fantastic but the generous portion sizes are a bit much for us! The vegetarian option I had, jollof rice, was disappointing. Overall it's still a great place to eat at lunchtime, with a good ambience and friendly and helpful staff.

Waited 20 mins for our table, waited 50 mins for our food to come out, it was a roast so not sure how it took so long as it the only thing on the menu. No one came over to get our plates or ask if we wanted dessert, had to flag someone down after another 2 hours of waiting. The guy who finally served us our dessert came over after we finished and asked if we wanted dessert, we had a conversation with him while he was serving it so not sure how he couldn’t remember, absolutely bizarre. We were in the restaurant for 3 hours. Appalling slow service
