Perfectly situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, our contemporary design, tranquil open-air patio and premium fire pits, compliment the picturesque and panoramic views. Although we cannot guarantee outdoor patio dining for all of our guests. We will try to accommodate as many requests as we can on a first come first serve basis.

If you're looking for a tucked away spot to have an intimate dinner with friends or loved ones, this is definitely a great choice. The service was excellent and the view out into the water was quite peacefully. Food and drink selections were all great.

The service was not good at all. We were left with no one to check in on us for 15-20 mins at a time. Understandable if the place was packed but it was not even half full. Food was not flavorful and overall paid too much for what experience we had.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner experience. I loved the food. The DJ was awesome and very entertaining and the service was great. I have never had a bad experience there. I will be back!!!!!

The food, service and ambiance were great! We ate outside along the water, the view was great, the server was friendly and we overall just had a great time. I was taking my boyfriend out for his birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed himself!

View was great, brunch was OK. Had the crab omelette with breakfast potatoes. Omelette was a little runny, crab and asparagus were tasty, breakfast fries were frozen deep fried, really bland and no texture. Bloody Maria was good, huge prawn made it the star of brunch.

Beautiful outside view! Came for brunch and enjoyed every bite. The Cornbread and crab donuts are hands down best items on the menu. Can't wait to come back again.

The Point food is subpar at its best. Drinks are literally juice and ice and the food is bland. Our server Elsy, had no energy and wasn’t pleased to work. The blackened salmon salad wasn’t good, sushi was meh and chilean seabass was over cooked. Ambiance was great and so was some servers who brought the food. I wouldn’t go back

Overall it was good, but very loud party when we first arrived. Also had to wait at front reception area for about 5 mins before anyone arrived to seat us for our reservation. All in all it was good, view and area were great. May or may not come back though. Good, but not great.

I had to push my reservation back 45 minutes due to traffic and they were very accommodating! The food was amazing, Shrimp and Grits is definitely one of the best I’ve had in the city. There was some sort of party/event taking place in the dining area and it was quite noisy…I wish this would’ve been disclosed before we made reservations as it was quite loud and annoying, my date and I were practically yelling across the table to hear each other. Outdoor dining was already full by 2:00pm.

Good location, though all local parking is at paid lots/garages. Nice restaurant layout and ability to eat outside. Average service—a bit on the “less attentive side.” Good portions and menu selection. Chesapeake rockfish dish was slightly over cooked and dry.

My dining experience was great! The crab cake meal and corn bread appetizer was just as good as the first time I had it. Our server was friendly and constantly checked on us. The old school music that was played was also a hit (It was a Sunday evening).

The food was fine but the waitress was determined to get our party of 5, we had reservations, in and out super quick. I understand table turn over but it was obnoxious and really put a damper on the evening. She was friendly but she consistently kept coming to the table asking us to order, do you want boxes, do want anything else. Not sure I’d return.

Outdoor seating is lovely and the food was fresh and delicious. Our waiter Greg was very attentive and pleasant. He made great recommendations and made our evening enjoyable! We will return again and again.

Saw bad reviews online and was concerned about the service. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the manager took care of us. We were seated outdoors as soon as a table came available and the servers were attentive all evening. The calamari and rockfish were delicious and came out hot. The mussels weren't very tasty. The ambiance was amazing along with the view. Would come back.

We were very disappointed in this resturaunt! The service was absolutely horrible and the people sitting at the fire pit next to us were talking about how great it was to do crack! Are you serious?! One of the guys actually got up and asked the table behind us if they agreed! We just got up and left. A real shame because it seemed like such a nice place for dinner outside near the water.

We absolutely loved this hidden gem. The views of the water and venue quickly altered our moods and brought us to a state of peace and joy. We started with the Seafood Sampler, and they gave you some of everything. We were pleasantly surprised they included lobster as well. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries, and I really liked my crabcake sandwich and fries. I was turned off by the cocktail sauce though and wished I had tasted I prior to putting all over my sandwich. It was pure lumps of crab and very good. Thanks Derrick for the recommendation and attentive service. The drinks were good, but the ambiance really stole the show. There are several tvs, inside and outside bars, a large array of seating coupled with a modern feel. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a phenomenal date night!

Everything about The Point was on point . The food was delicious.. my absolute favorite menu item was the shrimp fried rice..my husband loved the crab cakes . Our server was amazing and very attentive while not being to pushy and annoying. Our food came out shortly after we ordered and the view was breath taking .. We will be back. Thank you to The Point for making my husbands birthday enjoyable !!

Dining at The Point was a seafood lover's dream. From the welcoming atmosphere to the outstanding service provided by Greg, everything was top-notch. The Warm Crab Doughnuts appetizer was a revelation, perfectly blending the sweetness of the doughnut with the savory crab filling. The main course, a Roasted Chesapeake Rockfish, was expertly prepared, allowing the natural flavors of the fish to shine through. The Point delivers on all fronts - service, ambience, and most importantly, delicious seafood. A special thanks to Greg for enhancing the dining experience. Highly recommended for any seafood enthusiast. I can't wait for my next visit!

Service was a bit off…half the table got their food the rest didn’t for another 15 mins. Appetizers came out with the entrees. The food was actually really bland. The ceaser salad and cornbread were great but the rockfish wasn’t good.

I’m not a great critic because once I find something that I like, I order it ALL of the time. I have found it here, the crispy shrimp Cobb Salad is perfection. The shrimp alone are addictive. The vegetables are always fresh and crisp.
