Great local restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. A fantastic change than your run of the mill eateries. Wasn't keen on there take on cocktails so won't have them again. However, the food is delicious and I'm booked in again before 2nd lockdown for more!

Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Food was excellent especially the lamb which was really tasty and melted in the mouth and the banoffee cheesecake was amazing. Will definitely visit again.

We were seated on table 4, not ideal as closest to the back door and got quite cold when ever anyone went through the door.

Food was lovely and presented well.

3rd visit since opening , twice for dinner once for lunch, and again service and food excellent .. Bacon chop was perfection as was the salmon . Cheese in toast for lunch was superb, friendly staff, cocktail menu is full of choice.. you defiantly feel you are in a high class establishment . Ross the manager is doing a great job and interacts with customers for feedback on how to improve

Really lovely place , decor and set up was nice. Thought the place was a little bigger than it was.
Service was excellent . Always checked upon and wine poured.
Only gripe was some people were seemed to be allowed at there table longer than us ( we were told our table was up in 10mins ) yet tables next to us were already there b4 we arrived and still there when we had to leave .

My sister's and I enjoyed our time here. Lovely food,delicious cocktails and very nice staff. Would definitely book again. Can't wait to book again 👍😃

The food was so lovely, my only criticism was that as the 8.30 slot it didn’t really provide enough time before we had to leave before the 10pm curfew. So it felt a little rushed. Obviously not the restaurants fault. But other than that the food was lovely and the staff/ service was great . I would definitely recommend this place ... so much so I’ll be booking again real soon x

Food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. A much welcome addition to the town and highly recommended.

Had read really good reviews so I was expecting something a bit special. Food was very good and the waitress was on the ball. Just felt it was a bit 'basic' inside. Could have had some more nice touches to make a bit more classy. Bit dark too some subtle lighting could make all the difference. Will revisit, as bars and restaurants are limited in the area, just hope it trys to keep a good quality clientele.

The food here was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The only thing we would say let’s the venue down is that the lighting is a bit too harsh. If the lighting was taken down a bit maybe even candles on the tables it would definitely help the ambiance. The plastic plants also don’t do it any favours.

Lovely food and great cocktails can’t fault the service from the waiters who were very attentive.
Didn’t feel particularly Covid safe visitors into the restaurant walking around different tables talking to friends!
The ambience is very poor due to the lighting which is far too bright.

Food fantastic, staff helpful. However as it is a small space social distancing was not really good. Especially if you are at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Will definitely return but only if safer.

Staff and ambience were excellent! Overall the food was very good and it felt like being in a restaurant in Manchester but with the prices to match. The dessert unfortunately had to returned as it tasted off but the staff immediately apologised and knocked it off the bill. A lovely restaurant that I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

We were pleasantly surprised by The Post Room. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, food was nice although a little salty but nevertheless we will definitely visit again and will recommend to family and friends!
