The Step Inn

As usual perfect service, food was VERY nice (I sometimes have had some bad luck here in the past, but not this time), amazing value especially in these times. I am amazed that prices in the Step Inn haven't gone up despite the additional effort they have to make to meet the Covid19 regulations.

Christmas Eve meal. We were concerned given the covid level, but the distancing in the pub was spot on! The service was superb, the atmosphere was lovely, festive and family orientated.
My fish and chips was good. The scotch egg was gorgeous, the best I've had in a long time. The scampi was good too.
The only reason a knocked a star off for the food was the kids pasta was somewhat simple given the price.

The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The food was amazing and the drinks and desert went down well.

Excellent setup with the current restrictions. Very well managed, friendly service and excellent food. We are lucky to have this a local pub/restaurant.

In these difficult times The Step Inn is doing an amazing job. It was a family meal for my mum's birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it from the food to the service and all the protocols being followed. Will be back again. Keep up the fantastic work. Stay safe Happy Christmas 🎄🎅

Service was poor, food was cold when it arrived. No one looking after the section to raise issue with. Poor food, poor service but same prices.

We have always found the step inn to be very good value, excellent staff, very clean and generally a top class pub/restaurant.

Food was excellent and staff were excellent. Very happy with our meal.

Unfortunately it was the high standard we have been used to.
We ordered Chicken Goujons and chips for my 12 year old, the chips were on top of a salad with dressing, had to send it back to remove the salad.
My husband ordered the steak and didn't eat half of it said it was too dry and fatty.
When mentioned it to the waitress, he was told that's the way that type of steak is!
We were comped a coffee.

Had a fabulous Lunch here with my husband on Saturday 12th December. We both choose the Turkey and Ham Christmas Special and Wow what a feast for the eyes and the senses. We cleared the whole plates of food and enjoyed every bite. As always we love The Step Inn for its terrific Staff - Aileen, Sarah, Karen and Fiona who look after us so well, it's great atmosphere and its Magic Chefs who deliver every time we come over. Hadn't been for a while. Had a lovely lunch. Really nice food and welcoming service. So good we brought the whole family two days later !
Was quiet though , people need to get out and support local business more. Very clean and safe .

Great food and they really made a huge effort to socially distance tables and make everyone feel comfortable. Great value early bird menu and kids menu.

Had an excellent tasty Lunch here on sunday last 6th December. We absolutely love The Step Inn - The Staff are so lovely, The Food is beautifully cooked with imagination and flair and the choose is fantastic. We always an enjoyable experience and will always return. Thank you to all the staff.
