We welcome you to The Still at Blue Rook Distillery, the most unique spirits experience in the state of Kentucky. Situated inside Blue Rook's U.S. distillery - the home of award winning Brazilian sugar cane based spirits, cachaça, gin and vodka. The Still restaurant provides its guests with a multifaceted experience full of farm fresh food, with all menu items made from scratch and cocktails made from our unique spirits. Friendly, attentive service with flavorful, creative dishes. Plus, a nice change of pace in spirit selection as they are cane spirit forward, including the Brazilian style rum, cachaca. Started by splitting the peach arugula salad, which we swapped the blue cheese with goat cheese which was creamy and paired seamlessly with the peach, pistachio, and honey sherry vinaigrette. I had the tomato pesto gnocchi while my husband had the grilled pork chop. Both were excellent, well prepared, and fresh.

Had dinner in back tasting room with a large group and it worked out very well. Food was very good. Nice variety of dishes.

First time visit and was incredibly impressed! Fantastic service from Conner, literally the best mussel preparation I have ever tasted and my entree was excellent as well.

It was a great place to bring my parents while they were in town. Delicious food, good drinks, great atmosphere! The service was very good and did a great job hunting down answers when we asked questions they didn't know off the top of their heads. A lovely night out!

We dined here recently and were genuinely impressed by the food — every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The flavors were memorable, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in their craft. However, the overall experience was impacted by the service. It was notably slow, and we had to ask for things more than once. When our bill arrived, we noticed we had been overcharged on a few items, and the correction process took some time. Additionally, we were surprised to learn (only after the fact) that refills were charged without prior notice — something we wish had been disclosed up front. I would dine again but definitely be mindful of these things.

We arrived at 6pm. As we entered we realized how extremely quick it was in there the music was hardly on. Our sever seemed nice but didn't seem very experienced. He forgot basic items such as a steak knife for a steak. He also forgot the dessert that came with the special for the day. After waiting we asked for the dessert to go. He said sure thing, then came back to tell us he couldn't pack that specific dessert to go. Understanding, we asked for a different dessert. Once we were ready to leave, he came to the table and told us that he mixed up our cards but everyone ticket was charged correctly. After reviewing our card numbers and the receipts they were indeed all mixed up. He had to go back and refund 3 tickets and re-charge our cards correctly. All while our Togo dessert with ice cream is sitting. We finally got everything sorted and left. The waiter apologized, but at that point a manager should have come to the table and spoke with us. For the price point of this restaurant, this was unacceptable and we will NOT be returning.

As always, The Still delivers on quality food and service, nice specials, great cocktails and atmosphere that allows conversation without feeling stuffy. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere!

First time here. We spend a lot of time lately in Danville and had not Heard of or tried The Still. I’m very glad we did. It’s definitely the best spot in Danville. Food was great. The house salad was fantastic, the arancini we really great and we loved the brussel sprouts. Next time we’ll have entrees. And the drinks were spectacular. Cool spot. Definitely try it if you’re anywhere nearby.
