The Drawing Room offers casual dining in a beautifully decorated Georgian room. Whether you're looking for a breakfast meeting, maybe our new lunch menu or joining us in the evening to sample our superb A La Carte dishes we aim to offer you an amazing experience.

We can cater for most requests from large groups to meetings with canapes.

We can seat 32 people in our main restaurant and anything up to 100 standing for meetings/events.

On arrival there was a hen party which got louder the longer we where there but we accepted that, it was the food we had a problem with the vegetables where cold and the jus was very salty. The 5 green gnocchi squares tasted like eating stodge with no flavour even though it was supposed to contain garlic. For the price (£20) there was little on the plate and it was cold. My partner had a starter and enjoyed that but commented there wasn't enough. When we complained the manager said she would let the chef know and then avoided us like the plague and seemed annoyed. We asked for the bill after I decided not to have a dessert and sat there waiting for what seemed an age, so we decided to go to try and pay and the manager appeared as we put our coats on and the bill appeared, she had knocked the drinks off the bill which we thought was very good of her but she had charged us for each course individually when there is a set price for 2 courses but we just paid and left, we felt very dissapointed as we had been looking forward to eating there but sadly it wasn't the best experience for us.

The menu is a set price and very reasonable considering the cooking is top notch stuff. All of our dishes were delicious and would not have been out of place in a Michelin Starred restaurant. Everything, including the cocktails was faultless. This is the place to go for high end dining without the big city price. We have been twice now and will certainly go again.

No bread served or offered, strange. Cocktails were not cold enough verging on warm ! We asked for hot plates but they were barely warm. Mains very salty. Treacle tart bland with almost no taste...was it brought in ? Maidstone needs fine dining but this restauramt needs to listen and to sort things out. WHY OH WHY are hot plates so difficult to have ?

Lovely ambience, very intimate but busy. Friendly staff and the food is melt in the mouth. Definitely worth the journey as we live 30 miles away, ideal for special occasions.

Visited for an Anniversary, a great atmosphere with impeccable food. A very good edition to Maidstone and should be proud of what they produce. Will recommend

The 2nd time my Girlfriend and I have visited the establishment and overall, have been really happy with each visit. The staff are excellent, very friendly and chatty. The food is very good, fine dining standard I would say. It is a real hidden gem; maybe too hidden, as I've lived in Maidstone 10 years and never heard of the place until my girlfriend did some research on Trip Adviser.

The second time visiting - this time a really nice evening for my wife's birthday with friends. Great meal, extremely well cooked and with excellent service. The only marginal downside was that the place was pretty empty (probably not surprising for a Tuesday evening), and I doubt it will remain this empty if the food and service continues to be this good.

One of the best family meals we have had for a long time- there was 6 of us on a busy Saturday evening. We arrived at 6.30 and left at about 9. Setting was lovely, service attentive and food arrived with no noticeable delays. Food itself was excellent with everyone enjoying all the courses- excellent starters- quail, scallops and duck egg- all lovely. Main course I had the rib-eye steak (perfectly cooked) with Blue Cheese Dauphinoise- other members of the party had the cod, the pork and the salmon- all with positive comments. Highly recommend.
