The Twenties Italian Bistro
Some of the food was a little too salty. But my dish was tasty. I did not like that if i wanted vegtables or pasta you had to order ala cart from the sides menu especially for those prices. It was empty except for us and two other couples. (off season and COVID) Service was good except for when i asked if there were any specials and the waiter looked at me like i said something wrong.
All in all it wasn't a bad meal.
Great food at a reasonable price. Friendly wait staff.
Excellent food and beautiful ocean view thru window next to table for two. Celebrated home inspection of condo we are purchasing in Atlantic City. So nice to eat at restaurant not in a hotel casino. The Claridge is an old grand dame.
Went to dinner for my boyfriend birthday. The food was delicious but, the service could have been better.
We celebrated my partner's 83rd birthday and we were happy with the service and the food. The veal chops were cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce was very good.
Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to write the review. We are so happy that you chose us for your partner's 83rd birthday, and very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the food and service. The Veal Chop is one of my favorites too. We appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon. Thanks again.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet relaxing dinner with excellent service, food and bar with an ocean view. The restaurant is in the historic Claridge Hotel so you have an old fashioned elegance combined with a casual, comfortable ambiance.
All in all, a pleasant evening. I got a wine glass that was almost spilling it was so full. I appreciated that! Food was excellent. Seating was well spaced. The only thing was we never got our appetizer. We did get delicious bread sticks that held us off till our entrees came out though, and the staff was super nice and didn’t charge us for the appetizer that never came out. Still a great time out!
Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to write the review. We are thrilled to hear that you had such a pleasant evening, and please accept our apologies for the missing appetizer. We will be looking into that so that never happens again. We appreciate your patronage and hope that you have the opportunity to join us again soon. Thanks again.
We arrived at 7:30 pm. Seated immediately as there was only one other table occupied and another at the bar. During dinner another party came, ate & departed. The ambiance was great. Apparently, due to COVID, no one else appeared to be arriving when we left about 9 pm. Ambiencewas beautiful. Food was average. My strip steak was tough (that happens) but, also faily thin cut. The drinks were generous and well-made. The waiter accommodated me by substituting a side of pasta (spaghetti) for the french fries. However, the meat sauce was a very dark red indicative of being very overcooked IMO. Similarly, my wife's meal was drenched in sauce as well as opposed to lightly coating the pasta and then, letting the customer add sauce as desired. Overall, the food was average and thus, disappointing. Certainly, if I were staying overnight at the Claridge or Bally's, the restaurant would be fine but, we are 30 minutes away and there are many other options.
Our server was super nice and knowledgeable , and the food was really good !
Really had a nice dinner . Our waiter was awesome!

Very nice experience at the Twenties. Food and service were terrific. Waiter forgot to bring my mom’s drink and when he finally brought it he said it was on the house. Very nice of him. Had the ravioli , fish, fried artichokes and polenta. Very yummy.
Thank you for the great feedback and taking the time to write a review. We are so happy that you found both the food and service to be terrific. We hope that you have the opportunity to join us again, and look forward to seeing you soon at the Claridge Hotel and the Twenties Bistro. Thanks again.
Very underrated location. The food was cooked very well. Plenty of taste and value. Service was great and ambiance was very relaxed. Nice place to dine casually or to take a date.

Had to wait about 2 hours for you meal to be served.
I felt bad they were understaffed and I think the Kitchen was having trouble keeping up. I understood things were going to take a little longer but we got there at 8pm and did not get our dinner until 10pm. My food was horrible and tasted like the grilled chicken was cooked for 3 hours. My boyfriend said his food was "ok" . Great deal on wine at least. I wont be returning
had New Years day reservation for 6 pm were the only ones in there thought the place was deserted or abandoned feel chop was great food ok ruined my ending with no expresso or Capp said machine was broke won't recommend
New Years Eve dinner with friends
The soup (crab) was excellent. The main entrees were horrible. One entree had the wrong pasta and the pasta that was served with it was so water logged it was awful. I could not eat it. The second entree (veal parmigiana) was burnt and that was all you could taste. The drinks are so over priced.
The only disappointment was that there were so few customers.
The staff, the food, the ambience was exceptional!
The food was really amazing and the service was spot on.
The food was great and it was an amazing place to eat and have a great night with my husband or even a double date and friends.
Both of us had filet and both requested medium. Mine came out medium well which was ok but my GFs was well and tough. The mashed potatoes were good. A bit cold. The hummus and tatziki dip was good. Spinach was fine. Drinks were way overpriced. $41 for three non specialty mixes. Service was pretty good being that we were only 1 of 4 parties in the restaurant. Overall is was middle of the road. I probably wouldn’t go back as there are plenty of other choices in town for a good steak
Food was over priced and way under quality. Only 2 other couples in the whole place
Nice quiet place to really enjoy a meal. The food was great and the cocktails were very well prepared. It is a casual dining place where a family/group can enjoy the or meal in peace. The waiter was nice and attentive. I would recommend and return.
Best meal we ever ate. Highly recommend it. Fantastic taste for all items we had.
Had dinner for our anniversary and it was “eh”. Steak was bland, mussels tasted good but were over cooked. Will not return.
Also, offered to pay for another groups meal and the waitstaff went over and told them while we were still sitting there.
My husband and I came here during our stay at the Claridge. Upon arrival we were greeted by a wonderful lady with red hair at the front. Once seated, Roy was our waiter. My only complaint is that Roy wasn’t at all verse with your wine list or food. The food actually made up slightly for the night. However, the manager on duty Barry did not interact with us or any of the other black patrons. Barry made jokes, checked on food and even gave good recommendations but never once looked the way of any of the black patrons there. It wasn’t until my husband was absolutely furious that our food was brought out after a couple who had just arrived. He gave us a free dessert to try and soothe the blow but it was sent enough. The drink that was made was horrible and wasn’t mixed well at all. Will definitely stay at the hotel again just won’t eat there for food.
We thought this was beautiful and good and service were wonderful!
It 15 minues after we were seatw
Ed before we saw a server. The food was served cold. I will not return nor recommend.
The food was amazingly delicious. The service was great. Will definitely come back!
reservations 7:30 dinner arrived at 9:00. Place was not even busy. Food was not good!!.
Had a reservation at 7:45. Ordered a drink when we sat down, waiter forgot. Asked again 15 minutes later, waiter forgot again. Ordered soup & filet mignon. 8:45 and still no soup. Asked the waiter if he knew when our food would be coming out. 20 minutes later I got my soup with my filet mignon, all at the same time. Over an hour for soup? Mind you there were only about 4 other tables, the place was empty. Sadly the filet mignon tasted like I had been frozen for months during the shut-down, then defrosted and cooked. Which is probably exactly what happened. Very disappointed.
We were excited that we were in Atlantic City on the first day that restaurants could serve people in house following the nationwide shutdown. Our excitement was quickly replaced by incredulousness.
I ordered the lobster capellini. It came out cold, was drenched in a “vodka sauce” that tasted like ketchup. When I reported the temperature to the waiter he seems extremely confused; he stared at me for a minute until I asked him to take it back and warm it.
He took it back to the kitchen and when he returned, it had been microwaved into a steaming pile of now overcooked pasta, and rubbery chunks of lobster that tasted like ketchup. Needless to say, I paid $30 for a dish that was inedible.
We think our waiter was mostly likely a bus boy that had been pressed into service. He could not answer any questions about the menu and was terribly confused . At one point, the couple at the table next to us had been waiting 30 minutes after being seated for him to take their order.
I could go on about the hard rolls, the waiter’s confused look when I asked for a wine list but, I think my point has been made.
This restaurant’s best days are clearly behind it and the Radisson doesn’t seem to be interested in fixing its issues.
My guess is that this historic beauty will be left to die like the rest of Atlantic City.
It was closed. Why is it on opentable?
Restaurant located in Claridge Hotel. We were the only patrons for almost the entire dinner. The waiter was delightful and a pleasure to talk to. We were there for AC restaurant week and the meal consisted of a opening course of salad. The main course was surf and turf, filet and Brazilian lobster. The dessert was an assortment of small cakes. All of the food was very good. The restaurant is off the beaten path and difficult to find. This is a shame as the restaurant is very good. I don't know what the intent of the Claridge is as far as the plan to position this restaurant amongst its peers but in my opinion they are doing this restaurant a complete disservice. More people deserve to experience this place. Hidden gem
We went for the breakfast buffet it was good and the price was good as well.
Serving was very unorganized. Never told special menu of the night or if we had choice. Service was slow.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation too. It was the perfect date night drinks/dinner/dessert for my husband and I!
Horrible, poor service and food was not good at all. Took 45 mins just to get drinks, we sat down and no one came over for 20 mintues. When the filet mignon was dry and had no taste. Very disappointed.
The character, beauty, and architecture of the building was really warm and welcoming.
Our service was spectacular, and even though we had a steak come out overdone, the chef was gracious and sent out the most delicious calamari I have ever eaten while he grilled another one. The four of us had a combination of Thanksgiving dinner, Grilled Salmon, and Steaks. Each meal was phenomenal.
We will be returning!!
There were several tables empty and that is so sad for this hidden gem!!!
Attached to Bally’s casino with a covered entry to the casino.
José was a great server! The chef coming out to greet us and ask us how our meal was...loved it!
