   Food was good. Steak was a bit salty and the sides were not great. Service was adequate. Desert was flavorful, but was not as fresh as one would expect. 3 out of 5 stars.

   I expect a lot from a restaurant that charges high end steakhouse prices. This was alright. The Tomahawk had a lot of inedible fat. We asked for medium / medium rare but this came out rare, bloody and red through and through. They fixed it, no questions asked. The rest of the food ( steak, crab cake, Brussels sprouts) was good, not really special, but good. Dessert (gelato, ricotta cheesecake) was only okay. Cheesecake was dry. Overall, if I was staying at the resort and didn’t have a car it’s okay. If I had a choice, it’s definitely a better choice to go to Ruth’s Chris or Capital Grill.

   Celebrated my birthday here with my boyfriend and we both agree it is the best steakhouse we have ever been too. Started off with the risotto that was super flavorful and honestly the best I’ve had in awhile. We both got the ny strip with the au Groton potatoes, asparagus and lobster Mac and cheese. By the end of our meal our plates were clean! 10/10 would recommend, service was immaculate.

   Portion sizes small and underwhelming flavor, etc. for the prices. I don’t mind paying when I’m blown away by flavors and portion sizes but everything was just alright. Not bad but not blowing my mind.

    It took us a while just to get a server. Service was a little slow and our server was just ok. For as much as we paid I was expecting a lot better service. 55$ for a steak I’m willing to pay but this seamed like an outback or a general steak house. Not really a 5 star.

    Went to the Venetian Chop House for a date night with my wife. The food, ambiance, and service was great. Our waiter Joao was very personal and made us feel at home. It was a perfect ending to our vacation.

    Ate on the secluded terrace. Nice ambience and excellent service from the charming Anwar. A good selection of wine and a very good New York strip steak. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

    It was the best meal we have had in a long time .The lobster bisque was fantastic and the scallops we re done to perfection also the lamb chops we’re juicy and delicious. Our waiter Ishmael was courteous ,attentive and very knowledgeable. Kim was the perfect liason between kitchen and dining room ,so personable and friendly.. Overall it was an A+ experience and I woukd highly recommend 👍🏻 The desert gelato was very good too

    Food and service were great. Noise level was fine until the swarm of kids were running in and out of the pool area on the other side of the wall later during our meal. We were sat in the open area of the restaurant rather than inside. But it really was the best food we ate all the time we were in FL! Our server was really fun and helped us have a wonderful experience.

    Did not understand the automatic 18% service charge, was told that was not the tip that was just an additional charge for the rest of the staff, never heard of it food was good even though they brought the wrong order and I had to wait while my wife eat her steak. . Service was excellent except for that mess up.. beautiful place

    Location is awesome, hotel is beautiful. Thought it would be a nice place to take my spouse on Valentines Day. I requested inside, they sat us outside, waiter took forever to come to our table. All the food came cold as if it had been sitting in the window for a while. Valet just handed me my keys instead of retrieving my car. Not a place I'd see myself returning to.

    We went for our anniversary and this happens to be on Valentine’s Day. Great service and love the ambiences. But the single menu for Valentine’s Day was kind of weird. My wife does not like her meat cooked the same way I do. I probably never do a single menu again. We spent $400 and it was not worth that. We have eaten plenty of places that are worth it but unfortunately this was not. I am sure this place would have been better if we did not do the single menu on V-day.

    My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner at the Venetian Chophouse. The ambiance was relaxing and romantic. The food was delicious and our server Joao made the experience even better. Joao was very attentive, informative on the different types of wine, and was very friendly. I would return because of the way we were treated by Joao.

    Joel, our waiter was very attentive and took great care of us. My companions had seafood and it looked good. I had the bison short ribs and they were fantastic. I try to stay with grass fed and finished beef for both health and taste reasons, and I’ve never had better short ribs. Like most high-end steak places the entree plates are very spare, and the side offerings are separate, but generous enough to share. I barely touched the sides because I didn’t want to leave any of the short ribs behind. The wine list is long, but pricy, with very few by-the-glass options, sort of forcing you into an overpriced bottle and depriving guests of individual choice about what they would like to drink. My main complaint, however, was the background music, which was so loud I could barely carry on a conversation. I asked that it be turned down, which they did, ever so slightly, but they must have a standard setting, because it wasn’t long before the volume went back up. This is incongruous with the quality of the food, the service and the pricing.

    First, our server was excellent. This is in no way a reflection upon Joao. He was great and frankly, the saving grace. We wanted to have a nice date night, which is rare with having 4 children - and also take advantage of traveling for work. We decided prior to making the reservation that it was a rare event to sit outside in February (we are from PA), so we opted to sit on the patio. The physical ambiance of the chop house patio was nice and what you would expect from a highly rated, expensive chop house. Sort of. Evidently there was a pool party approximately 20 feet away, so we listened to a blend of classical/jazz from the chop house and a very loud and abrasive techno type music from the pool. The thumbing bass was much louder than the chop house's music. The steaks were on par with Texas Road House, but for about 6x the cost. The brussels sprouts were subpar and bitter. I left more than half of them aside. Trying to look on the bright side and end the meal on a high note, we ordered the creme brulee. Approximately 10 minutes later or so, our server asked if we received the dessert. We hadn't. We waited another 10 minutes or so, when he reappeared to see if we enjoyed it. We didn't receive it still. After another 10-15 minutes we received A dessert, but not ours. A short wait later we had the brulee - though it was cold from top to bottom. The top wasn't prepared, it was simply taken out of the refrigerator and given to us. For spending a few hundred dollars and having a very disappointing date night (which again is rare to have the opportunity TO have a date night), this was an awful experience.

    Joao was our server tonight(Feb2) and he was funny, attentive and helpful. He had quite a few tables outside but treated everyone like they were his only guest. So rare these days. We had an amazing meal ( I had salmon, hubs had veal chop that was perfectly cooked). Outside seating was lovely.

    My guest and I arrived Promptly for our 7 PM reservation. The hostess stand was on the exterior of the beautiful restaurant. Whispering began between the employees at the stand. The hostess confirmed my reservation and party. She noticed I was accompanied by my professionally trained seeing eye dog in his harness. She asked, would you like patio seating? I explained that my reservation was confirmed for inside dining at 7 PM. We did not request outdoor dining. I knew immediately it was because of the dog. I politely told her she could ask two questions. Was that a service dog and what service did he or she perform. She went to talk to the manager and after a few embarrassing minutes we were seated inside. Although I was pleased to be taken inside, we were escorted to a private dining room away from other diners. They even made suggestions of where my guide dog should lay down. This was very humiliating to not be able to sit with other patrons, this is extremely upscale restaurant, and I’m sure they were worried about what other patrons might say. We were totally discriminated against. The waiter could not have been more kind. He went to the managers office and got a braille menu for me. The service was excellent and the food was good. This did not change the fact that we knew what was going on. my amazing guide dog lay quietly throughout the entire meal. We were probably there at least one and 1/2 hours. We spent a large amount of money. after we paid the tab, the waiter came to the table and offered that if we would come back the following night with a reservation that he would give us free appetizers and free cocktails. We would only need to buy an entrée. We politely declined. I feel that this restaurant needs to better train staff and management about the rules of the Americans with disability acts and professionally trained and certified Guide Dogs can do and how that he is my eyes and he is assisting me he’s not a pet.

    We were staying at Caribe Royale & selected The Venetian Chop House based upon the reviews we read. Our expectations were high and they were exceeded! Anouar was our server and he provided exceptional service. Highly recommend.

    Everything was exceptional. Joao was a great waiter… personable, outgoing, and professional. Food was great. Ambiance was great. It was busy. We got there early and had a drink at the Rum Bar upstairs which was really nice. We had the lobster bisque which was undoubtedly the best we have ever had. We had the 8oz filet and the Veal Picata and both were excellent. The chocolate ball for desert was amazing. We’ve been to the Venetian about a dozen times in as many years. It used to be really fine dining, then it went downhill with poor service, but I am super happy to report that everything is back to being amazing… with 1 exception… please bring back the old bread basket and the old mushroom soup.
