Food and service was excellent. New interior very comfortable and inviting

Very nice inside and clean. Service was awesome , drinks were also upscale .
They have the best meatballs and chicken soup around, better than in North end.
Felt very secure as the staff was very careful in their handlings of drinks, plates and the booth was separated by plexiglass that also helped keep the noise level way down.

Staff is very friendly and accomating to your needs. Food is delicious and the music is delightful!

So happy to see The Venetian reopened. The service, food (menu selections) are excellent, as well as the adult beverage selections. I would highly recommend The Venetian.

Very enjoyable, especially at the bar! The newly renovated restaurant is a great vibe for any occasion!

I love what the new owners have done with the place. While I think the prices are reasonable and are comparable to their competitors, I think the portions on the pasta entrees could be a bit more substantial. We are a repeat customer under the new ownership and want to keep coming back which is why we offer this feedback.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner on NYE and the food was delicious . I ordered the salmon filet and he ordered the NY strip and we can’t wait to go back again!

The best pasta meal I’ve had south of Boston. Friendly staff, great value, and again, THE BEST PASTA SOUTH OF BOSTON. Honestly the carbonara was incredible.

Lisa and I made a Christmas Eve reservation but we decided we’d go by a couple of days before to check out the restaurant. We met the hostess Liz and the bartender Jimmy. We sat at the bar and talked with Jimmy.... Jimmy was very welcoming.

We returned Christmas Eve and enjoyed a wonderful meal.

It was wonderful as always!! The food is great and the staff are lovely. We really appreciate being able to go there. :-)

We went here to celebrate our friends 31st birthday dinner on a Tuesday night. The ambiance was relaxing and had a great vibe. Our food was phenomenal and amazingly priced. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We each got different entrees and (Chix Broc Alfredo, Shrimp Scampi, Sunday Gravy, and Filet Mignone) they were all top notch. Next time I’ll be getting the filet and mashed potatoes I could believe the portion sizes for the price. Had the cannoli dessert which was delicious and the whipped cream that came with it. They even sang Happy Birthday to our friend because we mentioned it was her birthday and gave us a 4th cannoli for dessert since there were four of us. Great place. Definitely will be back.

This is our new go to place for Italian food. Service is always top notch. The food is tasteful prepared and always good.

My first time there in a number of years. If you been before when it was just the local spot where folks go to get the early bird special on white bread...this isn't it. This...is better. Great food selection, wine choices are reasonable, and the service was attentive. The vibe is upscale. You need to try this again. I will.

I have known the Venetian for many years having first come here as a youth with family in the 70's. I have brought my own family here in the past and the place had not changed much. But on this visit I was happy to see a complete remodel had taken place. The revamped décor, personal attention by our waitress, and menu made the visit very enjoyable for my wife and I. Over the years, several good local Italian restaurants have disappeared. We can happily say we have found a replacement.

Had a terrific costumed Halloween dinner for 10. Private room. Food was so good. Had “soup to nuts” including multiple apps, charcuterie boards, entrees, dessert trays, wine, mixed drinks, expresso martinis etc. Great value for $80 pp. which included tax and tip. John our server was outstanding. Very attentive. Everyone was served at the same time. Perfect spooky night ! Thanks !!

Fantastic meal with impeccable service. The Sunday gravy was probably everyone's favorite but loved the Carbonara, Pizza and Parmesan too!

Second time in two weeks- definitely ask for the first two main dining rooms- was half full and the hostess walked us right by a dozen comfy Empty red booths and fun ambiance and sat us in the back room which is more like a function room set up with uncomfortable chairs and the room is super noisy listening to every tables conversations. Def. needs some sound deadening. Wasn’t relaxing like the first visit. Wait staff varies too- first visit- Caesar came out split for us- nice touch,- carbonara was a little mushed and salty, NY STRIP was cooked nicely. Cocktails varied as well had the same manhattan featured on their menu both weeks- first week came out on the rocks and well balanced with the vermouth, second not the same and straight up- not a problem but consistency is something restaurants strive for. We will give it another shot but request sitting in the better ambiance.

I have so enjoyed the Venetian both times I have gone! The food is excellent and the chef, Paul, has been so gracious in each occasion. Worth a visit from near and far!

Yes, I would strongly recommend going. The food was expertly prepared and appreciated the balance in the flavors of the dishes. It has recently been renovated and it looks great.

Very good food at a very good price. It’s not the north end, but it’s solid especially for the price. Big portions, good wine list. Definitely looks better and better ambiance with the renovation in my opinion. We came here before the Reno/ new ownership a couple times and was not impressed.

Food was very good, priced right but a glass of wine was 18.00! The wine cost more than the meal. We discussed it with the owner/chef but he was dismissive and unconcerned. The wine was priced too high for a Weymouth neighborhood restaurant. With 4 of us enjoying more than 1 glass of wine the bill was a little shocking. I doubt any South Shore restaurant is charging 18.00 a glass.
