Excellent food and service, shame ordinary wine from an average wine list is $50 more expensive than retail per bottle The only reason we won't go back again. Sparkling wine needs to be served cold. Little too noisy for our liking, but food and service deserve a stand out 5 stars.

Great food, perfect venue and excellent service. One of a kind in Hervey Bay. One of my favourite formal dining experience in the country. Cheers

Service was not very good, they had run out of ingredients for drinks and cocktails as apparently the wedding upstairs was using them, not a lot on the menu.
I would not go back again.

The NOISE level was unbelievable! You couldn’t hear yourself think much less have a conversation with anyone.
The menu was quite restricted too. Altogether an experience I will not be repeating in the near future.

A delicious meal, excellent service, beautiful view; made for a wonderful and most enjoyable wedding anniversary.

Scallops to die for ... A grade Oysters great with wasbi and roe

The Scallops were divine! The Bugs were big and juicy.

Great food and great view. Had the eye fillet with root veg. Excellent wine selection as well. Highly recommended!

Service was very poor and the food was extremely time consuming to come out.

The food was outstanding however the restaurant was very hot, the staff were overworked and therefore the service lacked.

All great can get a bit warm if there is no breeze may invest in some fans

Always top-level service and food - third year in a row we've been to Vinyard for my wife's birthday weekend-away (plus others - she's well-spoiled but worth it) - always satisfied with the result!

The restaurant was so hot due to the humidity and extremely noisy. Air conditioning is required for patrons comfort. The maître D strutted around and made herself look ridiculous.

The Vinyard provides a great dining experience. the Staff are so accommodating and friendly. The cocktails spectacular. I love the extensive wine list.... and the food is just wonderful... always a beautiful experience. My favourite restaurant!!!

Came recommended to me and I would highly recommend anyone to visit when passing through or staying in Hervey Bay. Great outlook over the beach. stylish and comfortable restaurant. Staff were friendly and gave excellent service. Food was second to none and and the drink range extensive. We will definitely be back when up that way again.

The food was amazing. We had the scallops, oysters, Moreton Bay Bug main and Wagu steak special. The service was a bit slow leaving us with the feeling of being somewhat forgotten. When mains came out I was halfway through my meal before my husband received his.

The New Year Dinner was good but not outstanding. The drinks service set the tone with the waitress not offering the diner to taste the purchased wine and then removing the bottle of red to another location and putting the screw cap back on the bottle after pouring. The diner had to get up and retrieve the bottle on a couple of occasions to replenish their wine glass. The food was good but not outstanding. The restaurant was busy with a set menu and one could see that the dishes suffered from their mass production as some of the dishes lacked detail which one might otherwise expect. The atmosphere seemed rather flat with staff obviously tired after a long day of serving. The live entertainment went through their sets without any audience engagement. It would be good to see if the restaurant can provide better quality of food and better value for money during normal service.

Had New Years dinner. Service, food, price and experience was great. Furniture was a let down with unstable table.

There was no atmosphere, tables are far too small- if you order more than two dishes no room on the table, main was sent back as under cooked, but was dealt with well. Staff were friendly, good drink options. Maybe a bit more emphasis on ambience & table arrangement. Not sure I’d hurry back

As usual, absolutely outstanding. Food is absolutely top class, service amazing, great location and ambiance and definitely the "go to" place to eat in Hervey Bay. Never faulted

The dishes were lovely, but value for money we felt was a little expensive.
Staff were lovely and on the ball.
Seating was a little cramped but not too bad.
Overall 6/10 rating.

Christmas Dinner

Wenig flexibel, angenehm freundlich, aber insgesamt mittelmäßig.

We have dined several times and also my husbands company have spent thousands of dollars at this restaurant yet time after time the service is appalling. We waited 30 minutes and only after reminding them our drinks came and my husband’s beer was not what he ordered. Staff are condescending including senior staff such as front of house who spoke down to us and put her hand on our daughters shoulder whilst talking down to her. We did receive complimentary bread and olives but not good enough. Food is always amazing but the customer service ruins the dining experience.

Only complaint would be the noise. Seems worse since the reno. But we will be back. Everything else was perfect.

Been to the Vinyard many times. Always good. Special request from our daughter to visit Vinyard again when she was visiting us from Brisbane as it is her ( & our) favourite restaurant in Hervey Bay.

Excellent food and service and a gorgeous outlook. Definitely worry a visit.

Loved the atmosphere and service and the food omg delicious only disappointment was I booked for a table outside but where sat inside otherwise fantastic

Food was good but not exceptional, totally spoiled by the unbelievable noise level.
As a couple we were unable to converse above the noise.
People were shouting to be heard above the noise from the open kitchen and the totally inappropriate music.
What a shame. We had high expectations but unfortunately would not return.

A dissapointing visit after the renovation. Poor acoustics with the large windows closed and very inexperienced wait staff.

The only constructive comment I would make is that it is very noisy as at sometimes it was hard to hear what our tables guests were saying.
