Outstanding cocktails and choice of whiskey. I could eat ten orders of kalettes. Went with a group of 8 and every one enjoyed their dish. I had the duck breast, which was cooked perfectly, but the smoked beets were the best. My husband’s filet melted like butter. Try the dessert coffee drink. I assumed it was a hot coffee with whisky and chocolate liqueur, but it was chilled and so damn good.
The service was good, cheerful. We were the first people there and it had filled up by the time we left. We will definitely return.
Great experience completely !
Great service and food. Everything was explained to us and we tried several dishes and drinks. Beautiful restaurant and fantastic food! Great experience!
My boyfriend and I are big fans of the Whiskey Project. We've spent multiple dates sitting at their bar. We always get both the fries and the deviled eggs but have also had the pork tacos, sliders, breakfast biscuit, and steak. It can definitely get loud on the weekends and we have had an issue in the past with reservations when it was a weekend and they didn't plan their seating accordingly. The bartenders are awesome, drinks are great and food consistently delivers.
A fantastic experience!! Beautiful venue, the wall of drinks and bottles is very cool. Service was excellent, we felt welcome and enjoyed our entire brunch. Great menu, the cocktails were amazing and the food was perfect. Highly recommend visiting at least once just for the atmosphere and experience; we visited for brunch and plan to return for dinner one evening. Impeccable quality.
Great restaurant - awesome food and amazing drink menu.
Been there twice and both times I've had a great experience each time. Service is great, food is outstanding, and the bar drinks most definitely rock. If you like bourbon, and I do, then this is a great and outstanding restaurant to visit. Even if you are not into bourbon this is a super bar with lots of selection. Food is some of the very best in ATL area. Come on to Roswell and enjoy this pearl, you will not be disappointed.
One of our favorites...food was outstanding and the drinks are even better! Took an out-of-town visitor there and had a great time.
Everything was great!
Had a great experience with knowledgable and friendly waitstaff and menu was full of great choices- will go again!
Definitely get a reservation. This place is hopping. Great cocktails. Delicious food. The best date night I've had in a long time
The server was very knowledgable and helpful. It was our first visit and she was very patient with us. Unfortunately, it's extremely loud and even our server had a hard time hearing us. We plan to go back, but it would be nice if they added materials to absorb some of the noise.
Incredible Bourbon and Whiskey selection...not just a name. Good food and fun atmosphere.
The food was fabulous, service excellent & the bourbons (& other cocktails) amazing! Great time!
We dine at Whiskey project often and on this occasion a Sunday night the server was good, but awe waited a long time to get our main courses. I requested my pork chop to be prepared pink and it came out very well done.
Not family friendly. Went for brunch on Sunday with family and 1 year old. No highchairs or booster seats. Made for an uncomfortable meal. Food was ok.
Errol was a fantastic server. He is super informed about the alcohol menu and the food choices. He made our meal fantastic.
This was our 5th visit to The Whiskey Project. The 4 previous visits were all 5-star experiences. The latest, not so much.
The quality of the food is down. The "Kalettes" were unrecognizable from the description and barely edible. The herbed fries with what looked and tasted like cheese wiz were no better. The Pork Chop and the Strip were fine but not as good as previous visits. Our waiter looked bored and inconvenienced and was not attentive.
TWP has also updated a covered outdoor flex space. Great for them, and great if you want to sit outside, but at this price, I don't expect to be shoved out the back on the patio. Not to mention that the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. (Here's a tip. Inside chairs have cushions and no arms. Outside chairs are also angled backward in the seat. This makes it both difficult and uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time.)
This was a $200+ meal for 2 of us with no dessert. It feels as if TWP is following in the footsteps of so many other Roswell eateries. Dining out on reputation, location and how great THEY think they are while not backing it up with quality and substance. We'll give them one more chance, but it's much worse than it was 4 months ago.
The Whiskey Project lived up to its name. We had a great time celebrating my wife and her 5 year work anniversary. There was a great mix of people in the bar and the food was delicious. We had some great starters and cocktails to kick off the meal. Then we had our main course. the seafood, Steak, and specials were all mouth watering good! Then we had more drinks and all did a whiskey flight (based on price of whiskey chosen) and then had desert. It was a wonderful relaxing evening with friends! Highly recommend The Whiskey project in Roswell,GA!
Terribly disappointing. I booked the Saturday brunch reluctantly, never having been required to use a credit card to hold a reservation for such a small party. Confirmation e-mail was sent with reminder that cancellation (I believe with less than 48 hour notice) would incur a $25 charge per person. You would have thought we were dining at the French Laundry!
We arrived promptly for our 11 am reservation. From the banquette where I was seated, I could see directly into one of the bathrooms where the cleaning woman was busy scrubbing. The doors to all the WCs were propped open and the cleaning bucket and mop were parked on the edge of the dining room floor. Unfortunately, the smell of the cleaning solution and the visual I was getting were not appealing.
The waitress came to our table and asked, “May I offer you still or sparkling water?” I requested sparklIng, not understanding that I was ordering a $7.50 bottle. She removed it from my bill when I protested.
Although there was only one other table of 4, our food order which was placed by 11:15 did not arrive to our table until 11:50. My French toast was lukewarm and the bacon undercooked. My daughter complained the her eggs were dry and she left them nearly untouched.
The food, ambience and service were all substandard.
The best place to celebrate any occasion or just casual dining, amazing service
Dinner Was Good, very noisy and wines were just fair.
Fantastic experience. Knowledgeable staff. Great food.
Incredible food and the best cocktails in Roswell hands down. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
We simply love The Whiskey Project. The food is always outstanding, especially the duck and the scallops.
Amazing experience for a birthday for my wife. Everything was amazing. Will be back again and again.
Nowhere was it communicated that it was a pre-set menu
I ended up spending $200 (since this was the mandatory min amount) on food that I didn’t even get any variety for and I didn’t enjoy, and then spending money on drinks so another $50-70
If it would have clearly been communicated that this was a set menu, I probably would not have made this reservation and would have put the same amount of money to better use on an actual varied menu with actual options
If you can find a resolve to this, great
If not I probably will not use this app anymore or eat at the restaurant
We hate to hear when people don't enjoy their experience at TWP. We would love an opportunity to make it right. Please call the restaurant and ask for Nick Lamb - 678.373.1981 so we can discuss. The pre fixe menu and the price were listed on our website. Also, the fact that we would have a pre fixe menu and the price on OpenTable when you would have booked the reservation. That being said, obviously you weren't expecting it. Please get in touch - we want to make it right!
This is a small venue that is too loud. The floor is concrete and there are no baffles in the ceiling. This can be easily remedied by placing either an industrial carpet or cork tiles on the floor.
The bar is great with an enormous number of whiskeys which are all displayed on the wall. The liquor menu is fun to read and the bartenders are knowledgeable and very efficient. Drinks are reasonably priced and the pour is generous.
The wooden tables are uncovered and the silver is placed on the table wrapped in a paper band, a la a diner. I can't comment on the menu since we weren't offered it. We were presented with a prix fixe menu, for Valentines Day, at a cost of $100 per with extremely limited options. Made even more so since they ran out of one option in most of the four courses. Made worse by there being only 3 choices per course on the menu. $100 for a choice of two items. If you didn't fancy any of the items you were out of luck. This menu was not advertised on Open Table or anywhere else. I'm afraid all of the patrons around us were surprised by this menu and quite disappointed. Also, since I made the reservation on the 12th and there were only two open times, the chef had a very good idea how many people he was serving that night. No excuse for running out of food. Great bar. Will return for a drink, but very poor value for money.
No excuse for running out of food - we agree! Not that it helps now, but the menu was listed on our website for about a month prior to Valentine's Day and OpenTable also detailed that we would have a pre fixe menu as well as the price. But if you were not expecting it, that doesn't make you feel better. Please contact me at the restaurant - Nick Lamb, General Manager - 678.373.1981, we would love an opportunity to make it right.
We went for the Valentine’s Day dinner, and we were a little disappointed. The ambiance was beautiful, the drinks were perfect, and service was wonderful; however, they ran out of food displayed on the menu, we were there for far too long and the bourbon was a bit overpriced. We will plan to go back, but will look forward to regular service.
First of all, we are so glad you thought of us to celebrate Valentine's Day. We hate that the menu items you wanted were not available when you ordered. Your frustration is completely understandable and we would like to make it right. Please call me at the restaurant so we can discuss your experience. Ask for Nick Lamb, General Manager - 678.373.1981
The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was fun! We went for Valentine's Day and I wasn't aware it was a Prix Fixe menu, but other than that, it was amazing. The bourbon menu is also the most extensive I've ever seen. Overall, great experience!
Opportunity for future Valentine’s Day Prix fix dinner. The food was good, wasn’t great. The desserts were basic and the cake I had I didn’t finish because it was dry. They could have offered everyone a champagne toast as part of the $100/person fixed menu that I would not have paid $100.00 for if I ordered off the menu from Whiskey project or somewhere else. I am still a fan of Whiskey Project and enjoy going there, but they need to consider changes for future Valentine’s Day menus and value for the price.
We appreciate your input! In fact, you should have been offered a champagne toast by your server. We apologize that this was omitted from your dinner service. We did try to include items that are not on our normal menu for Valentine's day but if they were not prepared to your liking (and appropriately priced), we want to make it right. Please contact me at the restaurant - Nick Lamb, General Manager - 676.373.1981, to discuss your experience.
