Loved this place! I’m a harsh critic of food, so I’d say the food was VERY good but not the best I’ve ever had. That being said, because everything was so great, this is going to be worked into our dinner circuit for sure!

This is a Fairfax City gem. Always has impeccable service and the food and wine to match!

It's not just a wine bistro where you drink wine and eat lovely savory food.... we go there pretty much once a week to listen to the sommeliers talk about different wines and sample along side. It's the nicest possible way to get an education in wine.

Had a wonderful time with friends for dinner. I enjoyed the lentil soup for an appetizer & had the scallops entrée. Service was very, very good. My husband & I always enjoy coming here.

Theresa was amazing! She was very attentive and I appreciated her knowledge of the wines and what would suit our needs for the evening. The place was nice and intimate and the food was FANTASTIC! I will be coming again.

We had a delicious dinner! Started with Oysters Rockfeller/Mussels and Corn Chowder soup - soup was great. Duck Breast and Bone-In Bershire Pork chop were amazing, loved the brussel sprouts with bacon too. Dessert was Passionfruit Creme Brulee - fresh, flavorful and not too sweet. Paired all of this with an amazing Burgundy recommendation from our server. Ambience was very nice, food was delicious and very generous servings. We love coming here!

An outstanding Valentine's Day dinner. Enjoyed a leisurely 3-course meal with oysters Rockefeller, sea bass and vegetables, and chocolate terrine.

We went for Valentines weekend and loved it! The food was amazing, there was a huge selection of wine, and great service!

Wife’s smoked salmon app and crab cake with mushroom potatoes and asparagus was outstanding.

Small place that knows their customers. They have wine tasting and they know their wine. Waitress was by herself but she was moving fast until help finally came. She was so sweet and fast you wouldn’t even know she was the only wastrels. I would go back. The food was very tasty and flavorful. I was NOT disappointed.

I have lunch here fairly often as I like their wine selections but this was a dinner during Restaurant Week. Only a few tables occupied when we arrived but gradually filled, though all well spaced, which helped keep the noise down. Server was friendly and efficient, and most of their selections could be made GF. We’ll be back.

We celebrated a milestone birthday and had a lovely time! The service was too notch, very attentive. Cozy atmosphere and adhering to Covid protocols. Currently they offer a $22 3 course pre fixe menu which is a good value. Nice selection of wines by the glass. It’s also a wine store and We received a discount on a bottle we purchased to take home.

My friends and I went to this restaurant as part of restaurant week in the area. There is very limited seating as the establishment is small and intimate, which I like. They had a special restaurant week menu to choose from including an appetizer, entre, and dessert. Each dish was tasty and beautifully plated. The risotto is amazing! The wine selection was good. Although there were instances of delayed service by the waiter, overall the customer service was great. I will definitely be making a trip back.

This was our first visit but will definitely not be our last - Food was very good, great wine selection and excellent service. Ask for Theresa - she was awesome!

Great food in a welcoming atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the smoked salmon on toast and the crabcake entree.

We enjoyed celebrating a birthday with The Sunday Brunch and bottomless mimosas. The food was wonderful, especially the crab cake eggs Benedict... yum!! The staff was amazing! 🥰

Wonderful dinner with friends on the patio. Food was amazing... we had short ribs and beef burgundy and our friends had cod and risotto. They were all large servings and delicious, as were the desserts! Service was great. So glad the patio had heaters since it was a chilly night!

Wine House is the best for an Anniversary or date night. Very safe and super friendly staff and owner! One of our favorite places!

We frequent Wine House on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries or when special guest come visit. We believe this is one of the finest restaurants in the area. We love it and recommend it every chance we get.

Excellent as usual in all aspects. We were there for flight night and dinner. Enjoyed the flight and found a wine in the flight we enjoyed with our dinner.

Food was great; high quality! Also our server Theresa was great; she gave us personal attention instead of the regular words.

In town for 2 nights. Got carry out last night and dined in tonight. Our favorite whenever we visit our GMU student. I was on a diet this time, and the chef beautifully eliminated the beurre blanc and substituted the yummiest roasted veggies for the gnocchi. I didn’t miss a thing!

An absolutely fabulous evening. The service was spectacular. Our server was very knowledgeable and the perfect combination of attentiveness and smart recommendations. My date had one of the items off the main menu and the flavors were complex and delicious. I had the special which unfortunately fell a little short. But I would highly recommend!
