Food potions (pork belly) for the sides could be more ample. One guest was left without entree while others were almost finished.

We’d heard so many great things about this place but while we wanted to love it so much, perhaps to have the same shared experience as our friends, we thought the food was not on the same level as say, the Tasting Room. The Mac & Cheese was a standout, as was the sauce for the fried-green tomatoes.

The Wine Kitchen is by far the best restaurant in Frederick. The actually made me laugh from joy. Sounds over the top, but true!

Love their oysters. Sunday brunch is a super deal. Fabulous service. General manager/Sommelier is a sweetheart. Great location on the canal for outside service.

Sitting outside by the canal on a beautiful day, was a treat. The food was good, as was the service. I haven't been inside, but I would go back again to sit outside.

Their Wagyu burger is AMAZING—definitely one of the reason why we continue to go back. New cocktail menu as well—try Leaves of Grass and Time in a Bottle...you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered the mushroom and goat cheese strudel with spring salad and it was delicious! Everyone in our group loved their meal and the outside ambiance was really beautiful for a clear spring day. We also had friendly, thoughtful service.

Fabulous anniversary dinner!

Girls night out and it was enjoyable. I was very impressed with the service at this restaurant. The entire staff was welcoming and very attentive. I definitely enjoyed the food; the vegetarian entree was delicious. The other two entrees were very good as well. There was not anything to complain about or to be corrected. Thank You for a pleasant experience.

Food was excellent. Filet mignon was tender and the compound butter on top was amazing. Not a lot of atmosphere but there was ample outdoor seating which was nice.

I am a kranky old lawyer and I have to say this place was awesome in every way!! Rare do you see a work ethic of "how can I do it better!" My experience was clearly an example of seeking and providing perfection.

We had lunch at a table on the creek. Beautiful setting, great food and wonderful libations. The service was perfect.

Table was outside along the creek. Very relaxing. Tables were far apart and staff all wore masks. Duck sandwiches were superb and the Jailbreak IPA was excellent. The Wine Kitchen by the Creek has it all -- tasty menu and bar offerings, courteous service, and a really pleasant atmosphere.

The Wine Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Everything is always en pointe and lovely! The food is amazing and the service is fantastic!

This was our first time out to dinner in a year due to Covid. We absolutely loved The Wine Kitchen. The service, drinks, and food were all outstanding. I gave a 4 for food because the dinner entres were a little limited. There wasn't enough of a selection. Perhaps add two more choices. The drink menu was superb across the board. We will go there again and again.

It's our go-to place for special occasions. The vibe is very casual evn though the food is more on the high-end side.

We felt extremely rushed and couldn’t hear the waitress at all. This place was extremely covid-conscious to the point where that seemed to take over the meal and it made the experience unenjoyable. I had called in earlier and asked if we could bump up from 4 to 5 people and they told us no indicating it was packed, when in reality there was hardly anyone in the place. We could’ve easily added another person as no other party was even close to us. This was extremely frustrating, but they are just hurting themselves losing business. We will not be coming back.

Outdoor, tented dining along the Carroll Creek felt clean, airy and safe. Our food was very tasty. Our waiter was good at checking in but did not hover. The menu offers something for everyone.

The Wine Kitchen is hands down my favorite restaurant in Frederick. When they have an off night, it’s very disappointing. My son and husband ordered Old Fashioneds. Neither drink was up to the normal standard. I said something to our server but my son refused to return it. The server should have insisted or taken the drink off the bill. My filet was perfect but I noticed the vegetable side was skimpy compared to normal. The service was slower than normal and it took a long time for our entrees to arrive.

Had “the sun is a morning star” cocktail and it was delicious! Best mashed potatoes ever! Pork belly and crab cake were fabulous. Brownie for dessert blew our minds 😋

Great as usual. By far the most consistent and best food in Frederick. We always have great service and the food outshines every restaurant in Frederick that we’ve dined at.

very good food, service was fantastic! gave excellent recommendations and got our food out to us crazy fast, which is surprising for a brunch shift. we like to go through the Frederick area and try brunch at every restaurant, and we will definitely be returning.

One of the best meals my husband and I ever had. Mussels, oysters, steaks, everything was great.

I consider myself to have a fairly refined palate. Nothing I tasted on this menu was good. We even sent the first dessert back only to be disappointed with the second as well. The waitress seemed distracted and at the end of our meal seemed to be replaced by another without explanation. We were under the impression brunch was available and then told they were serving the lunch menu which was extremely limited. I've worked with many different chefs in many different kitchens and this one was all over the place. I understand needing to spread your creative wings but taste should be the ultimate goal. Not only did nothing blow me away, most of it was inedible. I drove over an hour to meet a friend who drove an hour and a half. We were extremely disappointed.
