   This is our second time coming to Third and Main and it wasn't as good as it was the first time we went. Our server was very nice and pleasant, but the entree was very subpar. We got the pan fried gnocchi and it was mediocre and the sauce was broken. We got our entrees and my husband got the 45 day aged ribeye and he ordered it medium rare. It definitely came out raw and he could not cut the steak. He even asked for a new steak knife and had such a hard time cutting the steak. We were disappointed because we were looking forward to this for his birthday, but it was such a let down.

   The entire experience was a 10 out of 10. Food was awesome. Service was very quick and informative. What you would expect for a high end restaurant. The shrimp cocktail (2) were HUGE, wish there were 3 of them but they were b y far the largest. My NY strip was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. However, I must say the best part of the meal was the collard greens! Absolutely amazing. We will be back sooner than later.

   Food is better than last time.Median rare should be the one to be ordered.No too much char.my crab meat topping is not as tasty as last time.It is extremely salty.Only bad part is I arrived restaurant on time.But no one is at front desk.I have been waited five minutes. Then I wentaround restaurant and searched people.Waiter is friendly.Happy to be there again.

   Great atmosphere, incredible food and wine, service was attentive and so thoughtful! Can’t wait to return and sit outside to listen to the live music next time and shop at the butcher shop they own next door.

   Very Disappointing. We have been to this restaurant at least 5 times and the quality is very inconsistent. For a restaurant that bills itself as a specialty steakhouse - well, not so much. First let me say our server Brooke was lovely and attentive - no complaints there. So let's get to the food. I ordered the 12 oz. NY Strip - medium rare - It came out more like medium well - it was also very tough and grislily - I guess it was the end of the cut (not worth the $54) - My husband's was much nicer looking (more of a center cut) and it was actually medium rare. Our friends ordered the filet - again one was cooked to order - medium rare and the other (also ordered MR) was well done and very thin - you know how you like a filet to be a bit plump - these filets looked more like tenderloin slices that had been grilled. No one asked if our steaks were cooked to order - or if we enjoyed them. It was a Monday night - so maybe on skeleton crew? - Jr. grill chef? Because the steaks just weren't right - sorry - But honestly, Monday or no - that's not my fault - as I paid the same amount as someone who came and got the good chef on Friday. All I can say is it will be a while before I come back.

   First time dining there. Steaks were OK, but when compared to other steak restaurants in the area, which are all pretty similar, the food and overall experience was not worth the price. The various issues (e.g., out of bread; no substitutions for side dishes; no salt or pepper at the table; average steaks; etc) would not be a disaster individually, but the pricing should ensure that these details should not be experienced. I have no reason to go back.

    Nice family atmosphere. All staff involved with our dinner experience were extremely pleasant and were always smiling. Our drinks were never empty. The food came out hot and in a timely manner. Highly recommend this restaurant. My family and I will continue to visit for years to come.

    We enjoyed the food. I didn't like the orange blood marg; she tried to change it up some, but it just didn't taste good. I didn't like sitting in front of the sushi bar either. That may have been our fault, not knowing how to book or where to sit, but it was quiet and the food delish!!!

    This is our 4th time to Third and Main and it will always be a favorite of ours! From the cocktails, appetizers, dinner, and now sushi, it’s all amazing!! Our service was a little slower than we’d like, but understand the staffing shortages are still an issue across the industry. We can’t wait to return! Such a hidden gem of SE IN.

    The food was excellent, our server was very friendly, but had too many tables. Our appetizer came before our drinks, after we finished eating it was 20 mins before he took our dessert order. Took another 20 mins to get our bill and then 10 mins to have the bill rung up and we had to ask 3 times for a bag to seal our wine to take home. For the price you pay service needs to be better even tho the food was excellent and worth the price they charge. It was our first time there and not sure we would go back until we hear better word of mouth on service.

    Clean restaurant with great staff. Unfortunately, for how much this cost, they try to pass their food off as the same level as other places such as Jeff Ruby's or Ruth Chris. However, 5 of us ordered steaks with varying levels of cooking time but they all came out as medium rare. Also there was barely any seasoning and the sides were lacking compared to restaurants that cost a third of this.

    It was our first time there we got the USDA certified New York strip with garlic, orange, asparagus, and garlic mashed potatoes. Best of everything of steak I’ve ever had. The orange sauce on the asparagus, phenomenal, and the taters are fresh and I tasted a touch of garlic made them phenomenal. I would refer it for any time.

    Steak is overcooked little .Texture is good but it tastes bitter as the steak gets charred.(see in picture).I told the waitress about this.The waitress insisted to replace steak .I rejected as this is high value steak.In the end,they gave me 25% discount for that.I will come again for good service

    We expected to be blown away with the food and atmosphere. My wife got the pasta from heaven, and I had the in-house aged bone-in ribeye. Both were good. Neither was great. We had three drinks (she had two glasses of wine, which she liked, and I had a 2 oz pour of Booker’s bourbon, one of my favorites). We had bread service appetizer and split a chocolate layer cake (delicious!) for a total bill of $260 with tip. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The place was nearly empty and did not pick up much before we left. The hostess greeted us in a T-shirt and yoga pants. The waitress did a fine job, but she was wearing everday clothes. She knew the menu well and made appropriate suggestions. She earned her tip. I suppose we were expecting a more “professional” appearing staff at such a pricey restaurant. We were seated just outside the swinging door to the kitchen and were occasionally interrupted by the music of choice, which didn’t add to a relaxed atmosphere. All told, we were slightly disappointed.

    First time there. The server was very nice and quick to respond. Bartender did a great job with my floral flavored cocktail. Our meal was delicious. For the price, complementary rolls would be nice, instead of charging for bread. If you want to sit and listen to live music sit at the bar. If you want to have conversation sit away from the bar. The upstairs needs a little music or sound absorber, as most people whispered because you could hear every conversation. We will go back now that we understand the layout.

    We went there for Easter. It was lovely and we appreicated the atmosphere, along with the knowledge from our waiter (who told us he came from the butcher shop), which we didn't know was directly behind the restaurant. The steaks were perfection! We frequent Ruby's and this was a lovely change of venue with the price being more inline with our comfort and overall expectations.

    We had reservations for main dining room. We were taken upstairs, my friend is still recovering from knee surgery, and we were put in a very small room that had seating for 22, (it had a gangster theme) and even the slim waitress had to walk side ways to get through. The waitress did not deliver our food and the one who did had no idea what he was bringing. Our food came out at different times. The waitress took 3 times going back and forth to bring us our bill. We sat for 20 minutes after finishing before we got our bill finalized. It was our 1st time, we will be back, but I dont want to do stairs or be in a cramped room. I thought I chose the main dining room to avoid that.

    Everything about this place is outstanding! The people working there are friendly and passionate about making sure we were extremely well cared for. Even the bartender came out to make sure our beverages were to our liking! The restaurant is not a low cost fast food eatery. It is a supreme dining event so make sure you plan your time and budget for the experience. Our food was perfect in every way; served hot, steaks cooked to perfection and incomparable side dishes. To top it all off, house made desserts to die for, creme brûlée and chocolate layer cake. Absolutely fabulous! We will be returning with friends very soon!

    My first time experience was very good. I got the NY Strip medium done. I feel like it was burnt a little but it was still very good. I really liked the sauce with the asparagus. The waitress was very helpful and she knew her meat. I asked her a few questions about the differences between them. For desert I got the cream brûlée. It was so creamy and delicious. I almost ordered another one. I can’t wait to go back.

    Third & Main never disappoints. Friendly service. Delicious food. Love the live music in bar area. It's so nice to have a casual but upscale dining option close to home. I had the shrimp & grits appetizer, BLT salad and 8 oz filet mignon Pompei style. All were very good. Topped it off with creme brulee for dessert, which was perfection.

    Reservations were made 2 months in advance for the Remus Room. Upon arrival at 620pm we checked in. Reservations were 630pm Another group of 4 came in after us stating they had a Reservations for 7pm right behind us. We continued to wait until 645pm we are now the only group left waiting. We I approached the hostess to ask why we were still waiting and our Reservations were for the Remus Room she stated that your party had been seated. I stated that you set the 7pm party before us and gave them our table. We were put into a noisy area which us why the room request was made since our last experience was noisy. She acted non concerned. The GM came to our table to tell us we don't seat that room on Fridays or Saturdays for Reservations. I explained when I called to make then I was told to make them on Open Table. He walked away. It will be our last visit. Overpriced food and Under Service and Attitude. For a 250.00 bill. I would recommend Jags, Jeff Ruby or another finer dining establishment.
