We came here on Christmas Eve. We have two young kids so I thought it would be good as it's noisy and busy (like they are!) The staff were so so friendly and the kids loved it. The burger was fab and overall we have a lovely meal.
Food was good ... bit over priced and a overpriced on drinks
Good experience given the COVID restrictions, food was very good and the service was really fast.
Only had a 1.5 hour slot....service was extremely slow and hence we didn’t have time for dessert and coffee

It was completely over priced for what we received. The service was minimal, so set waitress or waiter so had to flag down someone on, then when I did on one occasion they forgot what I asked for and never came back to our table. Terrible experience compared to the last time I was there. The food was excellent

€6.90 for a pint is absolute robbery , regardless of where the restaurant is located it's disgraceful.
We had several issues with our booking. Our food was delayed, only some of it arrived and mine and my husbands meal was burnt. It took several attempts to contact our waiter who was no where to be seen. A manager came over and he was very helpful and apologised and did offer us more food but we declined. He took our main courses off the bill and some drinks. We were very disappointed with our visit, we haven't been out as a family in months and it was a disaster. I was very happy with the way the manager dealt with our issues but our waiter was not pleasant at all he was actually very dismissive of us and never even apologised for the delay, no cutlery or the burnt food. It was obvious he only wanted us in and gone. This is the first time I have never left a tip. We have dined with you many times before and the kids love it but this was the most unpleasant dining experience I have ever had. I hope this information is helpful for the training of your waiters. I look forward to hearing from you regarding this.

My daughter had the the pizza which wasn't cooked our guest had a pork burger which they enjoyed I was so disappointed as I remember how good it was a few years ago

Thunders Cafe is a great place to eat with friends or family or even that special occassion. The decor is amazing and great they have cocktails. I surprised my friend for dessert with a Sparkler on her cake and writing on her plate in chocolate. The were happy to do that request and it was a lovely night with great customer service 😊 i would go back again.
Third time coming to here and every time it’s even better.

Had a lovely meal in the thunder Road cafe . Menu was a bit sparce I assume due to covid but over all had a lively experience . Would definitely recommend for a night out .service was excellent
First visit for my daughters 16th and we enjoyed it from start to finish staff very helpful and prompt service.

Myself and daughter had the pasta,half way true there was a big black hair,I actually got sick in the toilet,felt really sick afterwards,lady that works there came in to check on me,she was lovely very helpful,my throat is still very sore from getting sick,our day was ruined as we had to leave early an I had to go home,I wasn't happy that out Bill came to 42euro the lady took the pasta dish of Bill,the other food was left there.
