Amazing value and incredible and generous portions of ceviche
Excellent and friendly service. The menu was varied and we got to try very different dishes, which tasted delicious. I had picarones for dessert and they reminded me of the ones when I was little, so, happy to go there more often. I 100% recommend.
Fantastic food and service. Ceviche is a must.
We will come back.
It was absolutely amazing, I would happily recommend
Great place! Great food. Would definitely recommend.
I was looking for a Peruvian restaurant and this one really caught my attention. My family is Peruvian and I was really missing all these familiar flavours. I definitely found what I was looking for and felt like I was at home, specially for the food. I’m coming back many times for sure!
The food was delicious and the atmosphere great! I highly recommend it :)
Tierra Peru was such a good experience. Great food and better cocktails! Pepe was super accommodating and a great vibe from true Peruvian staff. Would recommend
Food is excellent, service is very good. The octopus starter, classic ceviche and the pico sour's are a must have! Our new favourite restaurant.
Friendly, quick service, nice atmosphere, plate sizes where average size. Food was tasty and well presented. It was a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
Excellent food, drinks and service. Covid may have slightly negatively impacted on the atmosphere but still nice and the price was reasonable.
Excellent food, service and ambience! Looking forward to being back!
If you’re looking to get the proper peruvian experience, that’s the place to be!! 😍
Tierra Peru has the most authentic Peruvian food In London! The service, the cleanliness, atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! Pisco spurs and ceviche are a must. Already planning my next trip there. Thank you for an incredible evening.
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Great food, service and settings. Visited to try somewhere new and really glad we did. Can't wait to return!
Excellent Peruvian restaurant in Canonbury area of Islington.
Great value, food, ambience and service - highly recommended.
I'm not from Peru, but have been in Lima, and my girlfriend is, and we both thought that this is the closest you get to real peruvian food in London. Amazing little place.
Great food and very friendly staff!
Great food, excellent pisco sours. Friendly service. Kind of noisy due to lack of soft furnishings to absorb sound. Hard to make yourself heard.
Most authentic Peruvian restaurant in London
We’ve tried a number of Peruvian places in London, but this one is the friendliest, homeliest and by far the most authentic of them all.
The dishes taste exactly like what you’d find in Peru, it feels home cooked and the servers are so lovely that it makes it overall a warm and wholesome experience.
Aji de gallina, ceviche and pisco sours are fantastic!
The food and service are amazing and made me feel that I was in Lima! Thank you!
Very welcoming and good service.
Food was all really delicious, cant fault anything we all had. Wine is decent price though the Peruvian wine should be similar price to encourage us to buy that. Apart from that, excellent place and food.
Tierra Peru is a small local restaurant with a simple but delicious menu.
I was very pleasant with the food, although as a vegetarian, options were a little limited.
I will definitely go back.
Authentic Peruvian food, great cocktails and charming service.
Food and service were absolutely great. Would definitely recommend and go again!
Great tasting food and reasonable price points. Friendly, helpful staff who took time to explain food options.
Very good selection of food and friendly staff. We didn't know what to order, so they were happy to recommend some dishes.
Absolutely brilliant. Finally some proper Peruvian food in London. Would especially definitely recommend the anticuchos and the aji de gallina. Food was amazing, service was great, its a lovely space and the people there are so nice.
Really enjoyed our dinner at Tierra Peru! Staff was very friendly and food was tasty. Would definitely return.
A fantastic experience from beginning to end. The team certainly went that extra mile to make the experience a memorable one. It was a fiftieth birthday and they played live music for us. The food was excellent and staff were so friendly. We will definitely reccomend highly and will be visiting again.
First of all, I want to say that people who work here are lovely and I feel bad writing this but I think it's important to give honest feedback so that the owners know what needs to be improved.
1. Drinks. Pisco sour was very good but Mojito was basically rum mixed with Sprite.
2. Starters. Had ceviche tradicional. The fish was nice and fresh but there was WAY too much of it. Just trying to save you some money. guys! :) No one wants to eat a kilo of raw fish as a starter. Cut that portion in half, spend money on making other dishes more exciting.
3. Main course was the biggest disappointment. We ordered beef and pork and pork wasn't too bad although about half of the meat was pure fat, but the beef was literally a few strips of quite chewy beef fried with onions and peppers with 6 very bland potato chips on the side and a bit of even blander white boiled rice. For £17 you really could've done a bit better. Totally nondescript dish.
As for the atmosphere, as first we thought "Oh this is quite lively" but 15 minutes later realised that we had been shouting at the top of our lungs to hear each other and then just gave up and decided to eat quickly and get out.
I will confess, I actually booked this by mistake, I had been to the Ecuador place next door before who do have lovely fish ceviche (only 6 pieces but it's melting in your mouth) and a really nice beef for the main course, so had been raving about it to my friend. It was a very disapppointing meal. And the bill still came to £50 even though we came on the Eat Out to Help Out promotion, which cut our bill for food in half. Had we paid £80 for this meal, the disappointment would've been even worse.
I hope this helps.
Excellent Peruvian food and always provide a fantastic customer service !
I'm no expert but I have been to Peru, and this place seemed really authentically Peruvian. A LOT of gluten free options. Excellent service. Highly recommend
Great place, great food, authentic, not pretentious.
We've tried a few of the Peruvian restaurants in London and thought we would try Tierra Peru for a Peruvian Independence Day dinner. Overall a great experience, warm and super friendly staff and great fun ambience. Food was also top class with the menu focused on the classics but with a few interesting twists. Highly recommend trying the leche de tigre (3 different 'shots' with roccoto, aji ammarillo and limon) and the tiradito, which was one of the best I've tried. The portion sizes are very generous and we ended up a sizeable doggy-bag home with us. Will definitely be back (for some more of that tiradito!).
We loved the food that we have ordered. The staff is very friendly.
Fantastic little place, delicious food, great service and good fun - exactly what you want in a local restaurant!
Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always delicious, the pisco sours are to die for, and the family who run it are amazing. Highly recommend & very glad they are back open!
Friendly staff good food and nice to try Peru drinks 🍹 🍻 lovely meal
Kitchen or waiter forgot our starters. Main course came, which we ate. Enjoyed that, but the kitchen seemed a bit headless.
