the food WAS SO GOOD. it arrived fast, we were sitting in our own booth with an overhead heater. the staff was great, sweet and friendly. will most definitely come back again.

Waited 10 min to be seated for a reservation we had, then after being seated we waited 25 min before leaving as the waitress never came back for our drink or food order. Very odd considering it was only 5pm with a handful of tables seated on a slow night. Extremely disappointed and will not be back.

It was my first time going here, after passing it many times. Food/drinks were great and affordable, and everyone outside was distanced enough to feel comfortable.

The food was really bad

Had a birthday brunch and it was wonderful! There were 6 of us and it all came out to under $40 a person which is crazy cheap! So good!

Such great food, light dishes, great drinks (we had top-shelf Tequila when we ordered shots) for really affordable prices. Great for groups.

Average service - tables were a bit too close together for our comfort level

Tortaria is genuinely my favorite restaurant in the city. The food is always yummy, service is always good, prices are affordable, ambience is great for almost any occasion, the staff are kind— I genuinely have no complaints!! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying it

During this pandemic, Tortaria has become our go-to place for outdoor brunch. Prices are good - esp. their specials - and they take reservations. A bright spot to visit.

Food is a little pricey as portions are little; not the best option in mexican.

Great food and margs, sat 30 minutes after reservation and poor service. But in time of Covid, I understand it’s hard to keep staff on so I wouldn’t let this deter me from going back.

We were a group of 4 out celebrating a birthday. We were seated properly at our reserved time at a nice table outdoors.
The drinks were good. The guacamole was excellent and the chicken enchiladas were good.
I was not crazy about my vegetable bowl; it was just OK.
The service was very good and the ambience was good.
We had a very nice birthday celebration and appreciated the scoop of ice cream and candle at the end!

Waitress was rude and inattentive but the busers were good and picked up her slack.

My teenage daughter and I love Tortaria—I always get the cauliflower tacos and she loves a chicken quesadilla. This spot always has a fun vibe; we always take friends and family here. Can’t wait to sit back inside the restaurant in the air conditioning and enjoy a paloma (tequila and grapefruit soda-so zesty!!)

Great food, Great service- even with outdoor dining. It was not a busy street so, there was little to no noise. Umbrellas were placed above each table so you’re not sitting in the hot sun. Definitely will recommend & revisit!
