Trapper's Sushi - Parkland

i love trappers. it’s a little speedy, but super delicious. helpful staff.

Delicious, on the pricier side, quiet due to COVID, cooks wearing masks except for a couple of them that took them off their nose. I realize it’s hot wearing one, especially in a kitchen but taking it off your nose is like not wearing one at all. Server not super friendly. We were out to celebrate our anniversary and it just seemed overlooked.

Ryan was a great server and made our visit very enjoyable for our first visit to Trappers.

The service was a little slow and not very organized. But the food was great as always.

The server could have explained how the menu now works. Most of us are just now getting back to eating in restaurants.

Great food and great service every time we’ve been. Reservation system in place is helpful for our time in Covid.

Normally the sushi is spot on but the Samantha was way below par. I should have sent it back. I don’t like to cause a scene but I don’t know what he did wrong. The roll had a fishy taste like not fresh scallop or lobster not sure if didn’t cut up small enough so didn’t char right but had a mayonnaise like taste that was off. Probably won’t order again.

Ok. Went to Trappers for my husbands birthday lunch and have had great experiences there, however, this time was very different. The music was on and there was an employee singing extremely loud and off key to a completely different song, maybe one in his head? Anyway, he was singing in the kitchen then would walk from the kitchen to where the sushi was being prepped. Seriously, he was LOUD and every time he walked through the bar our attention was taken off of enjoying our lunch and onto him, wishing he would please stop singing. I had hoped that a manager or the bartender would tell him to keep it down but that did not happen. I would say that he walked through the bar 5-7 times singing very loudly, and like I said to a completely different song than what was playing over the speakers in the restaurant. I hope that this will be addressed and the singing will stop.

I just moved to this area and haven't explored too many restaurants, but I'm glad I found this place! It had great food, and plenty of choices.
