Fantastic food all around...pasta, eggplant parmigiana, chicken. My daughter said the best pasta so far (after 4 days in Rome). Really fortunate to find this restaurant. Highly recommend!
Cute place. Great service. My waiter spoke English - which was handy.
While close to the duomo, still a good quality choice. They tray you well, and their food is good.
Very convenient when walking in the Florence downtown area.
Outstanding experience at Trattoria L’Oriuolo - beautiful food in a quaint trattoria with views of il Duomo. Highly recommended and the handmade pasta is a true delight
eramos 12 y lo disfrutamos mucho, gran comida a buen precio. El lugar es muy agradable y el servicio muy bueno
Food was so so and the waitress not very friendly, which we found a rarity in Florence. Reasonable value but better choices available.
Amazing food!!!! So good.
Great cozy little spot with an interesting wine list and fantastic food. Felt like a neighborhood joint, not a tourist trap.
Outstanding experience for our family of three. Would highly recommend. Very authentic...
Very good food and helpful staff
Excelente food , service good choice ....friendly staff
The restaurant was empty. Only two other tables. Very quiet. Service was excellent. Waiter was very helpful. All dishes were delicious. Well done tasty and nice proportions. Would definitely return.
We had a great night, the staff were amazingly friendly and the food delicious. Thank you!
Epic fail during our trip to Italy. My pasta with meat sauce literally tasted worse than Chef Boyardee. Definitely not real Italian compared to every other spot we found in our 10 days there. Wish I could get my money back and prevent others from going.
Server was very rude. Poor manners and poor customer service. Placed wine bottle and water bottle on the table but did not pour wine/water in glasses. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Da Best-was there in October, the steak was outstanding and the wine was excellent, wish they had these wine prices in the USA.
Lovely restaurant and delicious food. We ordered and shared everything pasta they offered on the menu and they were consistent in their quality and presentation. Would definitely go back. Staff was very nice and hardworking to make sure we had everything we needed.
Food was very disappointing. Bread was stale which someone else mentioned. I had Stuffed Pumpkin Flowers which came lukewarm. They were bland and a little greasy. Next I had pappardelle with wild boar ragu which was bland and dry. My wife had the fried dough which was again ok not great. Then she had ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Not much spinach and again bland. Are you seeing a theme here. Skip this place. This is our first night in Florence so don’t have an alternative recommendation. I’ve had much better food at home in Virginia. I did mention this to the staff and to their credit they knocked €8 off the bill. CORRECTION: I have since discovered that the bread in Florence is hard and dry, in essence kinda stale. So that comment is not fair. However everything else stands. We had much better meals in Florence in the days after.
The food and service were very good. The tables are a little bit close to each othrr but as the people around us finished as we started it was not too bad
Staff really helpful. Delicious meal. Tortellacci was amazing !!! Good prices too.
What a find! AMAZING steak dinner shared by 3 of us with potatoes and cooked spinach and Ruffino Classico wine and to top it off the the best tiramisu (wow!). Fantastic dinner!! Will definitely be back!! Grazie!
Great spot in town. Hard to find as some mention, but keep walking away from the dome. Address numbers do not run in order. We nearly gave up and kept walking and found it .
We popped in after climbing the Domo.. very tired and thirsty! This ended up being one of our favorite places on a 13 day trip. The wild boar pasta is amazing along with everything else on the menu! Definitely worth looking for!
Booked on line with great ease. Great food, good service and a good ambiance. We would go back.
Soul authentic Italian food! I loved it!!!
Excellent food, very attentive and pleasant staff. Highly recommended, Tuscan cuisine.
Hard to find. My gps kept sending me the wrong way! Almost gave up but so happy we didn’t !! Food was fabulous! The pasta and steaks were great and the eggplant parmigiana was amazing!
Very stale bread. ( who messes up bread in Italy)
Food was bland.
Delicious food and great service, would definitely recommend.
Went here tonight as a family with friends and experienced simple and tasty food, prepared with care and served with a smile. We ordered some fantastic wine, ate too much and then ate some more, and rolled out the door. Just wonderful and would return again and again.
Lovely place for authentic Florentine food. We had the bistecca and it was amazing! Like others have said, Google maps does not find it. The street numbers do not run chronologically. So use maps to get to the street and then from the Duomo walk down the street past the biblioteca. It’s right after it on the left. Enjoy! We did.
Loved the menu, came back a second time to make sure it was amazing. They did not disappoint. Staff a lovely, food was authentic and amazing. Highly recommended!!
Great meat - especially the T-Bone! And delicious pastas.
The pasta was great (duck pasta), but both of our meat dishes were overcooked (beef in tomato sauce and chicken thighs). We had great wine but we underwhelmed by the meat courses.
Great restaurant with local Tuscan cuisine.
The server was very nice and took us last minute before the lunch closing. Fresh pasta with great flavors.
I rarely leave comments. For this restaurant I felt compelled. Other than some tourists with noisy children it was excellent. We had the stuffed pumpkin flowers which were excellent. The pasta with truffles may have been the best dish we had in Florence. The ossobucco was very good and the bistecco was excellent. Would definitely go back
This was the only restaurant near us in Florence that was on OpenTable and we had a party of 16. While the GPS couldn’t locate the restaurant, we found it with the help of a store clerk at a neighboring gelato place. The ambiance was wonderful; the food was excellent, the service was great and the price was unbelievable (€300 for 16 people!!). Highly r commended!!
Fantastic food and service and the L’Oriuolo was the perfect ending to a great day. I highly recommend the stuffed pumpkin flowers and wild bore pasta.
