On our last night in Venice, we decided to try something new and found this gem. When we arrived, we were asked if we would like to sit on the patio, overlooking the canal. It was a bit chilly, but our server put on the heat lamp right above us and it was perfect. Good wine and food, great service, excellent location. Thanks for making our last night on vacation so memorable
Food and view were great. The service was a little odd. We planned on spending a lot of time here because of the prime location on the canal. Our waiter came to the table 4 times in 2.5 hours. It wasn’t busy so we just assumed they’re less pushy (culturally) but we ended up having to go elsewhere for our meal since no one seemed to care if we ate a meal. We had split an appetizer. I also had a particular wine that I wanted to drink (Barolo) and the server essentially refused to serve it to us. He was insistent upon “Venetian wine’s only” and basically forced that on us. Saved me $60+ but the wine was not really on par with what I like. I wouldn’t let this discourage anyone because the place was great, just don’t be surprised by it.
