We had a delicious dinner with our favorite bottle of wine. I had the lobster ravioli app and Caesar salad and my hubby had a pasta dish. The service was on point - such an attentive staff. The food was fresh and well prepared.
A great local spot. We really enjoyed our meals and the service was great.
Love it here!!! Always delicious and love the service!!
Braised beef ravioli were good, not great. It came with 3 ravioli. Four would be a better serving. My entree was delicious I had the Veal Pavarotti. Overall good experience.
As always we had a great meal! Restaurant Week menu was varied and everything was delicious. They never disappoint.
This was our first time at this restaurant, and I'm sorry I didn't go sooner. The food was delicious. We were there for restaurant week and really appreciated the variety of menu choices. The mussels appetizer was amazing--the sauce was probably the best I've had with mussels. Service was great. The only downside was the noise level--although we were seated in the quieter of the two dining rooms, the noise coming from the other room was quite loud. Wouldn't stop me from going back but just something to keep in mind.
The menu looked great & we were eager to try this restaurant....we sat outside but didn’t realize it was a BYO, our 1st disappointment.
My husband ordered heirloom tomatoes & mozzarella, delicious! He also ordered the chicken parm, very happy with that too.
My meal was another story..I ordered a pasta, shrimp, crap meat dish suggested by our server..I received the meal in a bowl , other than the shrimp which were great
it was tasteless mush...didn’t like it at all, sent it back.
They suggested I order the filet & surf dish instead..saying it would come quickly...it did not!
When I did receive it, the filet was very small & completely raw....the surf amounted to one shrimp cut into small pieces in a very good risotto. I asked that the filet be packed to take home , ate a bit of the risotto & asparagus, took the rest home.
They did not charge for coffee & a coke to compensate...not good enough...we will not be back..
Must add , the young servers were great!
Main course was inedible. We took 1 bite each. Waitress never asked if we wanted anything else. Presented us with the full bill although we didn't eat any of our main course meals.
food was good but very small portions and overpriced
Was disappointed they didn't have any sangria, they usually give you a free glass but they were out and we didn't realize it was a BYOB so we didn't have any wine with dinner which was disappointing. But the food was great the the place is very nice. Service was good too. We went during restaurant week so there was a specific menu to choose from.
Delicious food. With lovely service. We enjoyed our visit very much. We will be back.
We love Totaro’s, especially during Conshy Restaurant Week!
Small intimate restaurant tucked away in Conshohocken. The food was simply delicious and worth the wait. Bread provided by the Conshohocken Bakery! Be sure you save room for dessert and order the Tiramisu! ❤️
A small treasure in an off-beat location but with an EXTENSIVE menu of delicious food, wonderful service and very cozy, pleasant atmosphere.
We really loved our dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. And their extensive menu made it difficult to choose! Unfortunately there was no A/C and by the time we left I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was extremely hot - just a ceiling fan blowing hot air around. To be clear, there was a ductless A/C unit that apparently died that evening. So we'd like to return, but we'll wait for the cooler weather.🙂
We had reservations for a party of 5 at 7 pm. The restaurant was understaffed and harried. We were seated half an hour after the time of our reservation. They were obviously short staffed and overwhelmed, had a guy in shorts and flip flops working on the floor, looked like they'd called him in from the beach. All that I could have forgiven (I've worked in restaurants and know what can happen when workers don't show up), but the volume in the restaurant was intolerable. The room was small and there was a boisterous party of 6 or so seated in the opposite corner. We couldn't have any kind of conversation, even with the person directly next to us. By the end of the meal all our heads were ringing. We stumbled out the door and sat down to rest and finish our wine at an empty table. As we sat there, other customers came out looking as dazed as we felt. The people seated at other tables outside didn't have the problem with the volume but said the service was terrible.
Totaros knocks it outta the park. Love the atmosphere and friendly staff. Remember to byow. But it was an enjoyable night.
Great dinner! Super loud place so hard to talk to anyone however the food is excellent!
Small crowd at lunch. Food and service were very good.
My second time there for lunch and certainly will go again. Easy place to talk and never felt in a rush to get out.
Plenty of menu choices available
One of these times I will get dessert.
We were seated as soon as we arrived. Each person in our party got something different. I had the vegetable lasagne: the portion was huge and it was delicious. I can't stop thinking about it. I need to go back soon!
everything was delicious, but it was very hot in the restaurant
We sat outside so we could converse, super noisy inside. Bridget was our waitress, service was amazing especially for it only being her second day. Dinner was outstanding, we can’t wait to go back
The best. Must try dishes are the Lobster Raviolis, the Vegetable Lasagna, and the Veal Chop. Don’t forget to try their homemade olive oil.
Great food personal service wonderful old country atmosphere. Family owned and run. This is a must try restaurant.
The food is amazing and the staff is awesome and so friendly!
Great food!!! Will go back again! Everyone loved their meal
Restaurant does not have ample AC for a warm summer night. Lamb special was great. Halibut special too salty and dry
Nothing but good things to say. A terrific experience, we will be back again soon.
Some things never change.......and in the case of Trattoria Totaro, that's wonderful! It's still the same simple little place with the same wonderful family at the helm and the same incredible menu. The salads are huge and beautiful, with a burrata daily special leading the way for me. My wife loves the mussels, and our friends started with TT's signature nuts & berry salad. The barramundi desperada (olive oil, garlic, capes, anchovies, spicy marinara over house-made pasta) was apparently excellent, since my wife couldn't spare a bit for me. Fortunately, my spicy sausage and peppers on pasta was as large as it was excellent, so I was fine without a taste of hers. And our friends raved about their pasta dishes, to which I paid little attention because I was so engrossed in my own enjoyment. We've never had less than a great time here!
The menu has a lot of choices. All great food. The place has nice miruals on the walls. The staff very friendly and helpful. The specials were very well presented.
Consistently good. Every choice is delicious. Very nice attentive staff that works as a team. It's easier to get a table in the Summer.
I've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time and boy am I glad I did. The food was outstanding everything tasted fresh and homemade. The fish was prepared perfectly. Definitely try the lemon cake homemade and just delicious. I will definitely try this again. The sooner the better
Fabulous food. Great service. Outdoor seating. BYOB
This meal was an excellent experience from start to finish. The service was perfect. We were given all the time we needed even though we were slow to pay attention to the menus because we were catching up with friends. The specials sounded great and were well described. The food was excellent. Everyone was very happy with their meals. One thing that was so unusual...the restaurant was full and everyone there was happy and friendly and enjoying themselves. To me that was a credit to the staff as they were welcoming and friendly and excellent hosts.
Absolutely loved it! The food was wonderful and we stayed til closing. We appreciated not being rushed and having the time to enjoy. Would highly recommend.
I usually don't go out for lunch since I bring my lunch to work. I have been to Totaro's on at least 6 different occasions. I have never been disappointed, and the friends I have gone with enjoy it also. The service is a standout, with staff remembering the regulars which is always a sign of a great place.
Trattoria Totaro is a hidden gem of a restaurant, the staff makes you feel like you're the only patrons there and the quality and freshness of the food is unquestionable. For any special occasion or just want to treat yourself, you can't go wrong here. Sat outside on a prefect weather evening and ordered the buratta appetizer, which was delightful and then the shrimp and crab pasta dish which was delicious. The key lime pie was as good as I've ever had to boot. Highly recommend TT!
Excellent as always
We had 2 shrimp dishes and calamari for appetizers that were very good. My party had the veal chop, surf and turf and the crab and shrimp pasta, all very good. The fresh homemade pasta is a definite plus. Our server was great, attentive and very personable.
The food is ridiculously good for the price for lunch. Salad size was larger than most for the cost of what most restaurants charge for a side salad. We reserved a table ahead on Open Table, total number of tables is small but food is so good I wanted to make sure we had a table at lunch time.
