Trejo's Cantina - Woodland Hills
Our server was great especially considering that she was new.
A little disappointed with the beer selection.
For the food the portions where incredibly small relative to the steep price.
Street tacos were practically the size of quarters. I ordered one of the bowls and it was also small for the 13$ paid.
I really wanted to like this place but I do not think I will be going back consider the other options available.
My family and I enjoyed our first visit to Trejo's Cantina. We were really impressed with the great service. The servers were so attentive and friendly. The chef came out and said hello and mingled with the customers. It felt like a very inviting place. The food was great!!! I was impressed with the varieties and flavors of the tacos. My 11 year old son thinks they were the best tacos he has ever had. I can't wait until my next visit. Just thinking about the menu makes my mouth water.
They have the best Mexican food in the Valley. I love their Blackened Salmon bowl.
food was good, but not to many people in the restaurant
Incredibly slow service, when there was any.
Cocktails were very weak and didn’t have much flavor (other than the horchata with rum)
Food took too long.
Understaffed for a cantina. Waitress was doubling as bartender.
Out of state friends left disappointed.
The food at this place is always delicious and the service is superb. It's a lovely restaurant and so quiet on the weekends. I'll definitely be going again.
Had one server for the whole dining room, took about 40 minutes to get our street tacos and a salad.
Made reservations for 6 people. We arrived on time and there was just one server and the dining room was closed. All that was open was the bar area with no place for 6 people to sit comfortably. We left and dined at XOC Tequila Grill. We will never go back to Trejo Cantina!
Great food! Our waitress was training someome. They seemed to be a bit short staffed. We sat outside and there was already a large party seated outside who were enjoying themselves but were quite loud. Nicely decorated in and out. Definitely will be back to try the spicy shrimp bowl and a margarita!
Not to much to choose from and food was ok
I've been to Trejos Tacos on La Brea and though that one was fantastic, this one is even better. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. We'll certainly be going again.
Trejo's Cantina was excellent. At our table we had delicious guac and chips, flavorful tacos and superb burritos. The beer was great as well!
Surprise the place wasn’t busy. Food was amazing. Danny Trejo’s has his own beer which was good. Apparently the place has been opened for 2 years , how did I know about it . It’s a gem that nobody knows about, I will be back .
Wry nice experience. The restaurant gave us champagneS
Excellant service and ambiance. The staff was extremely nice so nice that I wasn't used to it.
Not enough meat or shrimp on the burritos! The cost did not equal the heft. Lots of cabbage n rice but didn’t make up for the lack of MEAT. Others in our party of 9 enjoyed their tacos. We might try a different location next time.
Sebastian was great, and so was the food!
Great food great service great value
Incredible customer service From all associates, amazing food and just one of our favorites
As always great service and good food!
Had a very nice evening. Comfortable - we sat insides, but there is a very nice patio we will check it next time. Food is really good - drinks too!
I was pleasantly surprised, this was a nice restaurant and the food was great. The burrito are huge and they offer Vegan meals which is a plus.
We really didn’t care for the flavors. We would not go back.
Food Quality not good
Drinks were over priced
I will never come back or refer this place.
Was super excited but it was a total left down.
Nicely decorated, very clean, met Mr. Trejo....lucky!
Bartender was our server in bar area had to go up for additional drinks and ask for check.
generous wine serving...Thank you! margarita was good...
tacos were good, however the appetizer size was a bit of a shock....for $2.95 dollars
Food was great. Service was slow but the employee's very friendly.
Way to much salt on everything, tacos were very greasy and full of salt, someone did not follow the recipe. Considering we were there on a Saturday night, the place was not very full, perhaps others already knew about the food quality.
Hard to find the restaurant if parking in the structure.
Delicious food and yummy margaritas. We will be back!
Literally everything was delicious. Be forewarned - if it says hot - it’s hot !
This menu is very limited. The restaurant ran out of some things.
The food was not fresh. A carnitas burrito should not have pineapple in it
Danny Trejo’s Restaurant has fantastic food in an energetic atmosphere.
Delicious food! Tasty margaritas and excellent service. We are going to become regulars!
It's a decent taco shop. The bowls are great! Plenty of options - ranging from comfort food, to healthy, and even vegan options.
Never will go here again
I had been told good things, and we were excited to go, but the food was not good, and I felt I’ll afterward. There was only one other couple there, and no one in the bar. It was odd, and we won’t be goin again. Danny is a fun actor to watch, but sadly he need to only do that.
Might have been good but Open Table took reservations on a day they were closed. A waste of my time driving out there and finding a closed for Presidents Day sign on the door.
Excellent for a large group. Great service. 1 star less because a friend on a special diet was not able to be accommodated, but the rest of our party was able to find something they liked.
I thought it was fine! The food was better than expected and the prices reasonable. Our waiter was new, but he tried hard.
