Bar was out of vodka! Took nearly 30min to get a martini. The martini was terrible, and not even served in a martini glass.

Bar was out of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Wine selection is poor.

Disaster. Bad food, service, style. Really bad. "The food was bad but at least it was expensive."

The short ribs and chicken wings were delicious. The short ribs were very tender and the grits soaked up the sauce well. The chicken wings had just the right amount of spice and crunch. The salads were very large and easily could have been shared between all diners. Desserts were decadent and creative. Service was attentive but the server was a little forgetful. I wouldn't hesitate to return to try more dishes.

Truno was such a treasure to find. When seeing the restaurant online, I did not know it was inside of a hotel. Upon entering the Canopy hotel, I was welcomed by a warm and cozy ambiance that immediately made me want to return with my girlfriends, if not for drinks by the fireplace then drinks at the spacious bar. Even though they are very new, the staff was informative and insightful. The recommendations from our server, Carlton were on point and I am looking forward to seeing him again when I return. I ordered a drink from the cocktail menu and it was heavenly. The wings and the short ribs were magnificent. My friend and I commented that this place has all the right pairings to be a star restaurant, but that we hope they NEVER lose their chef! Looking forward to when they roll out the brunch!
