Pricey food but definitely worth it. Excellent service considering it was a busy Sunday brunch.
Fantastic food, a bit costly, but a great treat for brunch! Also their wait staff are some of the nicest people in the business!
We stop at TH once a year, either the Greenville or Asheville location. I’ve always preferred the G’ville for the ambience. But something was off this time. They did accommodate a seat change from a table to a booth which I appreciated. Service was good. Food was just ok. My husband enjoyed his eggs and grits. I ordered the southern shakshuka, had it before in Asheville and loved it. Not the case this time. Sloppily put together, the creole sauce was way overpowering and too much. I shoved at least a cups worth to the side. I also specified ahead of the order that I don’t like really runny eggs and was assured they wouldn’t be since they are baked. As soon as my fork touched the white part, the yolk came running out all over the dish. I also ordered a side of bacon which came out thrown on top of the shakshuka, instead of a side plate. I took a picture of the same dish from the Asheville location and it looked way more appetizing there. I hope it was just an off day for the cooks and not a sign of slipping quality.
Tupelo Honey is a fun place to dine with fantastic chicken! Service is always outstanding!
Every experience I have at Tupelo Honey is great! My waiter Michael was exceptional and made my visit a true pleasure!
Our group of ten was seated immediately in a terrific location where we could talk to and hear one another easily. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor, and the apps came out so fast, we were surprised! (Possibly due to our early 5:30pm arrival ;) Our entrees all came at once with no mistakes, and everyone commented on the freshness and delicious flavors they were experiencing. Thanks, Open Table, for making it easy to reserve our spaces!!
We enjoyed our stay in Tupelo Honey! It was our first Lunch there and we are excited!!!!
I needed comfort food today even tho it was a business lunch and Tupelo Honey delivered!
The fried chicken and fried Brussels Sprouts were oozing with grease. They were tasty but really unhealthy.
waiter seemed to be a ghost. had to get up and search the place to find him. he never checked with us after delivering the food IF he had I would have told him the burger was not even warm and the fries were cold. truly not up to the standards we normally get there!!!
Amazing brunch. The eggs benedict with fried green tomato, farmers cheese, and avocado was perfection. Service, spot on.
Had breakfast. Fortunately made a reservation earlier that morning because there was a two hour wait on a Sunday. Breakfast was good but can’t say I’ll remember it. Blueberry compote was delicious.
Heather was our waitress and did an outstanding job. Good was awesome.
Great stuff, great food.
Another great meal at Tupelo Honey. The food is always great and the atmosphere is just so upbeat and enjoyable every time we eat here!
We were told it was a “must visit” and it was so true. From craft cocktails at the bar to southern cooking at our table. It was a great dining experience!!
Food was subpar, a lot of the meals were lacking in salt and flavor.
For a restaurant that features chicken, the one sliced breast served was dry and cool . A second person ordered the meatloaf that was cooked in a muffin pan, this the size was that of a muffin and itself over cooked and Luke warm. The third order was a signature pimento cheese burger, again lukewarm. The server who brought our food warned us to be careful as the plates were hot, unfortunately the food wasn’t. Having eaten breakfast at this location and a sister restaurant in Knoxville, both top rated experiences, maybe the evening is best left to orhers
Delicious food. Southern with a twist! Tried about 7 different dishes. Everyone was amazingly good.
Great food, excellent service, nice view. The trout was outstanding, according to my wife.
Love the food. Service was amazing and the drinks were on point!
Food was excellent however service was lacking. Not quite sure if they were understaffed that night or what but things were moving at a slower pace than what I would have expected. Overall it was good and I will go back.
Very long wait. I made a reservation online and checked in earlier(30 minutes) to see if they were running ahead or behind schedule. Hostess said that they were ahead of schedule and should be able to seat us much sooner than our original 1:15 time slot. We waited close by and more than 40 minutes later we finally were seated. Our server took our order and thirty five minutes later another server served our food... never refilling our drinks before then and we were all empty. Also were never served the complimentary biscuits beforehand. Had to ask for our check after we were all finished and had been waiting. I feel like the food is pretty good but the waitstaff was very poor. Tables would turn over and you could do more business if ran more efficiently. Prebussing tables etc and keeping drinks refilled ( tea, coffee and water) are the bare minimum in my opinion.
Awesome experience! Had my mother in law with me for the weekend. Enjoyed Saturday’s brunch so much, we came back Sunday for more! Lol!
very good food and service. A good eclectic place.
My family and I enjoyed Tupelo! The chef was super accommodating, our server was beyond pleasant, patient and accurate throughout our dinner! The type of service we received is rare however made our experience great, thank you!
The chicken tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamp and was dry
It was our anniversary which I checked when making reservations and no one said a word about it
I was disappointed that my spouse was not happy with his meal
My meal was just okay nothing to rave about
Enjoyed your Asheville location much better
I wanted a good meal for our 27th anniversary
My husband did want me to say anything about his meal so we didn’t for fear something bad would happen if we sent it back
I hope to have a better experience next time we visit Tupelo Honey
Can you help us with a better experience?
Surprise wedding shower brunch. LOVED the seating in the corner at the window! Food was fabulous! Can’t wait to go back. Danielle took great care of us and went above and beyond. Thank you!
Great food and great atmosphere!
Excellent food! Craft drinks were amazing! Will definitely return !
We ordered the fried chicken for dinner and waited for over an hour and half before finally asking for the check without eating dinner. Was handled very very poorly and as a result I will never eat here again and we will be sure to make sure others aware of how poor this restaurant is.
Pew concert dinner for a small group
Server was a total loss. We waited 20 min for drink order to be taken and over 35 for food order to be taken only because we went and found him to do so. Food was excellent when it arrived. Don’t expect premium wines or whiskey because they don’t have it. This night don’t even have what they had on the drink menu.
We really enjoyed our lunch—everything was terrific and I would gladly go back when in Greenville again. I highly recommend it!
Every ‘Tupelo” I’ve visited over the years never fail to deliver, so I can’t say I’m surprised that Greenville’s did as well. Our server, and I apologize for not remembering her name, was amazing. So memorable was she that we motioned her over to say hi on our next visit. In short, the meal and the dining experience was awesome, in fact, so much so that we took my sister and brother-in-law the very next day!
Food was wonderful; and our waitress was so sweet and super fun! Will be going back as many times as possible!
This restaurant was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. It was packed and they had a long wait for brunch, so I was glad we made a reservation. They have a really nice cocktail, beer and wine list. I got a great Bloody Mary and the options for mimosas are great as well. We tried the Appalachian which we both liked.
The service was perfect even though they were very busy and had a wait for tables.
We ordered the sweet potato pancakes to split which were delicious.
We also got the omelet with the fried green tomatoes which was awesome!
The best food item was the cracklin’ potatoes that came as a side - they were fantastic. They were cooked very crispy and had a nice flavor from the spices they used. The fried green tomatoes were also wonderful - really crispy crust that didn’t get soggy with added dressing or sauce.
Eggs Benedict is my absolute favorite brunch item, so I was very excited to see they had a section dedicated to benny’s. I tried the Fit to Be Tied Pickled & Fried, which came on fried green tomatoes with fried pickles. I was pleasantly surprised by the dish. It all tied together very well and the fried green tomato base was perfect. My only complaint was the poached eggs were hard inside, instead of runny yolks as they should be. It looked like they had been sitting under the lamp waiting for the server to grab it and the hollandaise sauce was starting to get a bit solidified. It is a very rare incident that I will ever send food back at a restaurant, but the essence of the eggs Benedict is the delicious runny yolk poached egg and hollandaise. The server was so nice and brought me out some fresh eggs immediately that were cooked perfectly.
Brunch was good as usual. Everyone left stuffed!
Good food but drinks are a little pricey. Paid $10 for an apple mimosa that was not good. We barely saw our server and she never asked how the food once. I only drank a few sips of the drink and immediately regretted it. Service sub par, but cute location and good menu options
