   I had the original dark meat chicken dinner, and it was amazing. The brussels sprouts were delicious as was the macaroni and cheese. And for dessert I had a mini banana pudding, which was so delicious, too. The others at our table also enjoyed all of their food.

   I’m in town for a conference and the Tupelo came highly suggested. All of the food was great! The flavor combos were great esp the Mac & cheee waffles w/ the chicken. Our only issues were the chicken & waffles were barely warm (at best) and the “mini” pie was very mini (esp for $4.50)! But I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

   A truly memorable birthday experience! Our server went above and beyond to make it a wonderful time for all of us - even putting a candle on our dessert! The food was incredible as always and we will be sure to return, as it is a family favorite for all of us!

    We wanted to try a new restaurant for Valentine’s Day this year. We had heard great things and decided to try Tupelo Honey. We had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, service was quick, polite, not overbearing or rushed and the ambiance was very inviting. We will be dining here again.

    We visited while celebrating a bride to be. The service was outstanding! Even on a busy Saturday night, our server made us feel like we were her only priority. The food was amazing and huge portions. Couldn't recommend more!

    Our only complaint is that the restaurant accepts reservations until 9pm only to stop taking orders for food/drinks at 9:30 which is ridiculous, which is within half hour.

    we had reservation but table wasn’t ready - had to wait 20 minutes. no place to sit or stand while waiting. Drinks and food service was slow. waitress was pleasant and apologetic for wait.

    It was my wife’s birthday, and we had never been there before. It was very busy, considering it was a Tuesday night, so I am glad we had a reservation for our group of five. Food and service were great, we will definitely be back again.

    Loved the freshly baked biscuits with butter and blueberry compote, really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with cheesy grits, and the fried chicken was great, very tasty. My husband's chicken BLT was rather dry and the green beans were way too peppery, but our server was great and the things I've mentioned above were really good, so we will certainly try to dine there again sometime when we're in Grand Rapids.

    Great experience on New Year’s Day! Everyone enjoyed their food. The Biscuits For A Cause and Sriracha Honey Chicken & Waffles were the standouts. PT was very engaging and attentive throughout the entire meal. We’ll be back!

    Jack was smiley, knowledgeable and made our lunch fun. Coffee, old Skool bowl , biscuits yummo!!! Went New Year’s Day. Busy and noisy but everything was efficient and the place had a fun, hip vibe.

    I was pleased to find a place that could not only accommodate our family of eight, but also had enough variety to appeal to everyone in our party from age nine to 85. We were seated in the back away from other tables, which was preferred as we’re fully in flu/cold season with new COVID variants. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty, but not anything I would come back for. I ordered their ‘famous’ chicken and waffle since it’s their specialty. My spicy fried chicken was very good, but the waffle beneath it was a bit bland and not crispy enough. My morning cocktail was a peach vodka concoction that was delicious! The universal crowd pleaser was the biscuit. Overall, no one left unsatisfied.

    Brunch with my young adult niece before the ballet. Slow response when we sat down. We’re ready to order when they came to get our drink order. Fast delivery of meal. Food was excellent. Had the Mac and cheese waffles/chicken and the country fried chicken and waffles with eggs. Outstanding meal. Large portion too. Ordered banana pudding to go. Delicious. Will go again.

    Tupelo Honey offers an appealing variety of Southern style main dishes, with sides and beverages to complement the meal. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is quick, and attentive. We noticed couples, groups of friends, and families with children among the other patrons. The ambience is invitingly casual.
